Re-Birth of a Genius. Creator/Destroyer

Chapter 2509: Meeting

Chapter 2509: Meeting

Back in the Academy realm.

After Bloody Chariot’s disappearance, the whole academy realm seemed to have entered a state of silence.

A complete and utter silence. But underneath that mask, there was a lot going on. The families were still pissed off at the fact that their kids died. Heron, who felt headless, tried his best to solve the issues with them.

But he really couldn’t.

All the academies lost their funding. They didn’t have a clue where Sam could be. They even used soul search there and in every other world Sam stepped in before. But the results were negative. So, they concluded that Sam would most probably be in Darkhan as well.

A world where even Deans and Grand Elders didn’t make any progress on.

The only thing they got out was some information and that was all public.

They planned to take it very slow. And now with Sam in there, they could only imagine how things could develop from there.

Of course, most of them hoped that he would just die in there and they could all say good bye to this.

But no matter what, they didn’t dare to go inside and actually make sure that happened.

While everything was like that, the Gambler academy which was relatively safe with the least damage, operated as if nothing happened.

Nobody ever talked about Sam. Particularly, the elders and factions that were previously constantly opposing Sam.

There was not so much as a peep out of them.

But there was one guy who was investigating everything that happened after Sam disappeared.

"Sir, I looked into all the possible sources. There was no movement from the candidates you marked. In fact, they just took advantage of the chaos Sam created and increased their ranks in their respective academies.

They didn’t seem to be the ones that leaked the info about Sam’s friends."

The attendant gave the report to Ling Tian.

His face became more tense after he heard those words.

He knew for a fact that the Deans of the academies that belonged to the gods who were in the game, wouldn’t reveal Sam’s info. They are too strict and the price they had to pay is too honestly too much.

He thought anyone of the players might have done it. But except for Dayus there is no way, any other player would rat against Sam.

Honestly, they are too scared of him to do it. Its fine if Sam didn’t survive, but if he did... they wouldn’t want to deal with whatever he would cook up at that time.

That left only two possibilities.

One is that someone who had a grudge against Sam came up from the lower realms... which is a really hard thing to do and the odds of it happening are very less. Particularly, with so many of the forces that belong to Sam being in the Astral region of the Academy realm...

The last possibility is that there is one guy who actually knew what Sam did as he came up and would have the evidence of Sam and his friends together.

But he didn’t want it to be right...

However from the looks of it, it’s the only logical conclusion.

"Send a second grader to this world and contact the Zeus academy student named White.

Tell him, Ling Tian wants to have a meeting with him. It should be discreet. No one should know about this."

"Alright, sir."

.

.

.

Three hours later.

Ling Tian and White met in the forest. Just like they did before.

Ling Tian looked at the young man in the White Mask and asked directly.

"Why the hell did you do it?"

"Do what?"

"I know you are the one that leaked Sam’s info. Why did you do it? I told you to stay away from him. You could have lived your own life. With your talent and skill, you could have made a name for yourself. Heck, you could have been one of the few students in the academy realm, who would have a shot at God hood.

Why would you do this now?"

White stayed silent. He didn’t answer.

"I am asking you, White. Why did you do it?" Ling Tian wasn’t his usual calm self. His face was twisted and he looked like he could pop a vein at any given moment.

"You really dare ask me that? Do you really not know?"

"What’s that supposed to mean?"

"I meant exactly what I said. Sam.... How was he able to do the things that he did? By what right does he get to live this life?

It was supposed to be me. All that glory he enjoys, it should have been mine.

How can Gambler and you be so biased and give him all those things?"

"Give him? White, do you really believe that we gave him these things? Do you really believe that we deliberately shortchanged you?"

"Or? What else? How can a guy with such a low cultivation level have things that could change the fate of this world? His technology is so advanced. It would take several millennia for this world to develop all of this.

How come he got to do all of it now.

Its definitely you guys that helped him."

Ling Tian started chuckling.

He looked at the sky and laughed out loud like a mad man.

"White, if you really think, all that Sam had was because of me and Gambler... if your mindset was just that, I am glad that you didn’t take his place.

I am glad that it was Sam who acted in your place instead.

Now, I only have one thing to tell you.

Go back. Go back and never return to the academy realm. This is the last chance I am giving you. And even with that, I can’t guarantee your safety.

But if you choose to stay back here in the academy realm, then you have to bear the consequences for your actions.

Either way, Good bye."
