Chapter 1841: Robbery
Chapter 1841: Robbery
Soon, Sam is in a private room within the Naval Armory. He looked at Darin and said.
"What is the best armor that has ever been produced by Naval Armory?"
Sam asked as he sipped some kind of tea that was served to him.
Darin didn't think much and said.
"It is the Adamantine Flood Dragon Scale Armor. I am sure you can guess what the main material is."
Sam just nodded and said.
"I want to place a bulk order of that armor."
*psst*
Darin spat out the tea and looked at Sam as if he is a lunatic.
"Bulk order of the scale armor?"
"Yes. I want to place a bulk order on your best-of-the-best armor. I need a thousand armors and I need them in the next week, can you finish that order?"
Sam said as he placed a spatial ring on the table.
Darin was still suspicious when he looked at the contents and only after he saw, he was stunned.
"This is the downpayment. From the price of scale armors, it should be about thirty percent of the order price. Is that enough?"
Darin gulped and nodded crazily.
"Sir Sam, we will be honored to take up on this order."
Sam stood up and said.
"I will be staying in the Royal Inn. You can just find me there."
He turned around to walk towards the exit, but suddenly stopped and turned back.
"Oh by the way, do you know any other shop that sells high quality products like you? It doesn't have to be armors or weapons, anything is fine."
Darin didn't understand why Sam is asking, but he thought for a moment and said.
"There is a friend of mine, who is in charge of an Inscription making company. They are specialized in creating custom inscription scrolls or custom inscription jobs for weapons and armors. They can actually create a full defensive inscription scroll that could block an attack from a Peak Stage Divine Plane Pre-transcendent cultivator."
"Perfect, can you give me their address, I would like to make a deal with them too."
Darin widened his eyes in disbelief, but he did give the address. If this big shot is really going to spend that much money, it is indeed better to let his friend benefit from it.
So, after he gave the address, he contacted his friend and gave him the news.
Sam went there and bulk ordered their best product.
The same thing happened all over the city that day and the next day, Sam didn't even come out of his room in the inn. He just stayed there. All these people were trying to keep an eye on him, but with the nature of the inn, they didn't let these people disturb Sam.
But what they don't know is, Sam is not in the city the next day, he went to the next city and even in that city, he did the same. He bulkordered the best products the city has to offer.
He moved around and did the same in the next week.
By the end of the week, he went to the first city he arrived at and went to meet Darin and the rest of the people in the bar.
The Bartender recognized all of them and he also recognized Sam. He was stunned to see all of them together.
"I heard that there is a mad money man throwing around the money and ordering a bunch of high end products. I didn't expect it was you. How about you bulk order my wine and food too?"
He asked with a grin.
Sam also smiled and said.
"Why not? Give everyone in the bar a set of your best wine and food."
With that he threw a spatial ring. The bartender was stunned. He looked at the contents and indeed the money is more than enough to serve the whole bar.
He hesitated for a while, but after Sam insisted, he did exactly that. The merchants that came looked at this scene and they are very much excited about this whole thing. They really liked this kind of big spending people and the way Sam acted, he didn't even look like he values money even a little bit.
So, they wanted to see if they can fish out more deals out of him.
Sam and the group of merchants sat at the biggest table in the centre of the bar.
He looked at all of them with a smile and extended his hands.
"Can I check the goods first?"
They all placed their spatial rings on the table. Sam started taking out different things and started testing them out. Of course, he is not testing out each and every one of them. That would be way too time consuming and impractical.
He held the spatial rings as he looked at all of them and said.
"They are all look good. You really delivered on the promise. Great job."
Everyone smiled and they anticipated for Sam's payment, but at this moment his smiled went wider and he said.
"But I am sorry, unfortunately I don't want to deliver on my end of the deal."
With that, he disappeared from the spot along with the Spatial rings that are in his possession.
The merchants were stunned. One of them was vigilant enough to react and he immediately yelled.
"Quick, let's catch him."
He immediately ran out of the bar and called for his subordinates.
Sam reappeared a couple of streets away from the bar. The reason being a restriction placed on the city to prevent these kinds of situations. A robber or a murderer shouldn't have a chance to just use some spatial device and escape easily.
But Sam didn't care much about this. He definitely has more things at his disposal to escape. He took out harbinger and in the most eye catching way, he went through the main gate of the city and in the direction of the second city.
"What the fuck, why is he so fast? What kind of device is it?"
One of the merchants asked as he held his forehead.
"Let's go and inform the city lord. I cannot lose out on this money. I spent way too much on those products."
The merchants all agreed and they went to the city lord.
Since the city lord, knew that Sam already left the city, he didn't bother ordering a lockdown. He immediately circulated Sam's image to the nearby cities and a large scale search party was launched.
Sam arrived in the second city and in the richest bar of the city, he sat along with a bunch of merchants.
"Bartender, a serving of your best wine and best food for everyone in the bar."
He ordered food and looked at the merchants.
"So, can I check the goods first…"
Before the news has even travelled, Sam arrived here and robbed the second and third cities. But he didn't go to the fourth one. Because from what the bartender told, there is no way the news wouldn't have travelled that far.
But he did arrive at the fourth city in a disguise and stayed in an inn.
The next day, something happened. Sam watched as his poster was spread all over the city. All the guards are on high alert.
The only problem is that his disguise is impeccable, it will take a lot of time for these people to catch him.
Meanwhile, news of this incident quickly reached the two places Sam wanted it to reach. The White Sand Coast headquarters and the Dark Sea Sect Headquarters.
The reason why the news reached so far is because the people that were duped by Sam are all people who had roots in higher places. Their main headquarters and families are all near the headquarters of the Dark Sea Sect.
In fact, some of the owners are direct members of the Dark Sea Sect.
So, knowing that Sam robbed valuable items caused them to feel a stinging pain in a place they would rather not mention.
Three days after the robbery, a message came to Ervin who is in the White Sand Coast headquarters.
He looked at the message again and again with a frown.
"Who the fuck is this guy? How can someone be so brazen and conduct such a high profile robbery?"
He couldn't help but feel dissatisfied. After all, they are preparing for a war with the other continent, this kind of headache is the last thing he needed on his plate. But the request came from a dozen or so important figures and a few of them are elders, so he had to take this seriously.
He turned to his assistant and said.
"Just use the identification system that we have and search for him. Both the built in detection systems of the city as well as the mobile detection devices can be used.
Anyway, we are sending our soldiers out to scout the whole area of the White Sand Coast, to see if there are any traps set up by the Tri Sun continent, they can do this as well.
Within the next two days, just capture him and get him to me. I will personally judge this case and be done with it.
