Chapter 679 - Capítulo 679: Merging Race
Capítulo 679: Merging Race
It took a while to teleport across such a large distance, but Rael soon found himself standing in a large plaza where dozens of soldiers were training their asses off.
To Rael’s genuine surprise, none of them even batted an eye at his appearance.
At most, the gaze of a few landed on him, but they didn’t say a word and continued training.
Huh.
I guess this isn’t as bad as I thought.
[Focus. You are very deep in enemy territory,] Gaia said. [I’m currently shielding your presence while using your own mana, so I highly doubt any powerful beings will pick up on your presence. However, don’t take my protection as an absolute.]
He didn’t.
He knew very well that there were powerhouses like Lucien here.
Of course, he couldn’t feel where Lucien was at the moment.
If anything, he might just not be in this universe.
Though, Rael didn’t overstay his welcome and proceeded to step out of the large plaza.
Gaia’s protection only guarded him from the gaze of powerful beings.
It didn’t shield him from normal people.
Though, normal was a big word for a civilization with such strong individuals.
Still, Rael made sure to flare up his mana to not appear like the weakest person here.
Guide me, Gaia.
The moment he said those words, a green arrow appeared in his vision.
It directed him to the left, and so he followed it.
Every couple of minutes, the arrow jumped around slightly.
He didn’t understand it at first, but when he accidentally walked for a bit too long in one direction, he spotted someone who was… strong.
Ignis, The God of Fire [Grade 10 Calamity Class | Level 858,229] – Vitality: Tier 100 (MAX) [100% / 100% HP]
Holy shit…
How can someone like him just be walking around? He’s way stronger than Solenne or any of the Supreme Monsters.
Gaia let out a sigh.
[He’s one of the Ancient Primordials.]
He was a little puzzled still.
And as if understanding his confusion, Gaia spoke up once again.
[There were thousands of Ancient Primordials. Many of them were erased in a single attack, though. The Supreme Beast was responsible for that attack.]
Aha…
That makes sense. Rael nodded.
And from then on, he decided to not stray away from her arrows.
A few hours had passed as he quickly realized that the city was far larger than he had anticipated.
Regardless of that, though, he eventually made his way to the massive wall that surrounded the Divine Realm.
To his genuine surprise, there were a bunch of winged people guarding it.
They were all angels.
Though, it seemed like Rael looked too long at one of those angels as they suddenly turned around.
Rael’s eyes and the eyes of that angel locked for a moment.
Neither of them looked away.
That was until the angel’s companion called out to him, and the angel was forced to look away for a brief moment.
And that brief moment was all that Rael needed to dash away as fast as he could.
As he hid behind a nearby wall, he let out an annoyed sigh.
How do I get past them? Can I just teleport?
[No, you can’t. You did it once, and I safely hid your presence. If you do it again while within their territory, I’m afraid I might not be able to save you,] Gaia said sternly.
He felt like he was a child being taught manners by his mother.
Still, he didn’t dwell on that for long as he turned toward the wall once again.
Although mind-controlling them was on the table, he found it risky.
So he had a rough idea.
A very rough idea that was both reckless, stupid, and reckless.
And twice the recklessness might actually double the results too.
<Ding!>
<Warning!>
He wasn’t doing this because he wanted to just overpower them.
Instead, he was doing this to go off his cooldown, in a sense.
Premium Evolution had one little ick that he didn’t like.
He could only have one active bought race.
So if he were to buy something else right now, the True Fatekin race would get deleted.
It was a shit addition, but by combining them, it would cancel out.
And if that happened, Rael could finally move on to phase 2.
Becoming an angel himself.
<Ding!>
Oof.
The odds were definitely not nice.
But how did Rael even get into this world in the first place?
That was right.
He made a gamble, and he won.
So, as he cupped his hands, Rael pressed the “Yes” button with his tongue.
And in the very next instant, he felt all of his strength zap away in an instant.
He hated this feeling very much.
But even so, Rael carefully hid behind a wall and allowed Gaia to control his presence.
Just then, a sudden jolt of pain shot through his entire body, rendering him immobile for a short period.
He wanted to scream, as it had actually been a while since he felt pain.
Though… in a way, this was good.
For a second, he thought he had become a masochist.
But he sure as shit didn’t like this.
So as Rael bore through the pain, it eventually faded.
He felt a little bit different at first, but the differences soon began to show as he felt something brushing against his hair.
The moment he raised his hand, he felt a couple of orbs just chilling up there, floating around as if orbiting his head.
And when he took one of those orbs down, he was left surprised.
The orb was the size of a tennis ball.
Though it was also see-through.
And inside it… Rael could see a miniature swirling galaxy.
He felt enamored by it, so much so that he had that instinctive urge to send his consciousness into it.
But before he could do that, Gaia’s voice snapped him out of it.
[Don’t do anything yet. Let the races stabilize… And put that orb back on your head. You’ll kill yourself if you do anything with it right now.]
“…”
Yes ma’am.
As he felt the inner bonk coming his way, he soon heard a chime.
And when he turned around, his eyes widened at the race he received.
