Re-Awakening: I Became a Pay To Win Boss Monster

Chapter 380: Inside The Vault

Chapter 380: Inside The Vault

Upon hearing that, the guards didn’t hesitate. They nodded and pushed the armory door open.

The sharp smell of rust and iron hit him immediately. Ahead, he saw multiple rows of golden armor sets, swords, and more.

But most importantly, there was a staircase at the far end of the room, leading downward.

“I appreciate it. Now you two remain quiet, and don’t tell anyone I came here, understood?” Rael asked.

After getting two nods, he stepped inside and signaled for them to close the door, which they did.

Rael hummed in satisfaction, walked to the far end of the room, and descended the spiral staircase.

Once he arrived at the bottom, he was met with a giant Vault door with a single keyhole in front of him.

“Uhh…”

<Established connection with personal Premium Shop.>

<Whatever you buy or sell will be directly transferred to you instead of the body you are possessing.>

•—Premium Shop—•

Category: Blazing Sun Faction / Vault / Keys

•—Balance: 311,381,175,944 Trell—•

• Complex Singular Vault Key (Epic): 500,000,000 Trell

What are the chances that when I buy this key, Solenne’s going to be alerted? Rael mused.

Definitely 100%.

So with that in mind, he had to find another way inside, especially since there was one bit of confusion in his mind.

I wonder where my body is? When I entered Solenne’s dreams, I projected myself inside her… literally.

And now, he was in Jashin’s mind, but as for where his body was? He had no clue.

Still, he looked through the Premium Shop for any other ways to open this lock, and finally, he found something.

• Special Master Key (Legendary): 10,000,000,000 Trell

—Special Master Key (Legendary)A special key which bypasses most locks under Tier 6. Works on vaults.

Tier 6? Alright… let me see… Rael focused on the vault door ahead, then inspected it.

And as luck would have it…

<Purified Adamantium Vault – Tier 6 Key Access Required>

And all of that was for the steep price of 10 billion Trell.

But is Tier 6 even high? Maybe Tier 10 is the maximum, but it’s a bit surprising for such a big faction to have such a shitty vault lock. Maybe they didn’t expect anyone to get this far because Solenne is a shut-in?

Anyhow, he bought the key, and to his surprise, it appeared in the form of a completely ordinary black key, one that definitely didn’t look like it would fit into this vault.

Even so, Rael took a deep breath and approached.

He had made sure of one thing when Solenne sent Alcetas and Alene to the vault. There were no traps or triggers.

They opened it without triggering anything inside Solenne’s mind.

So Rael stopped hesitating and inserted the key into the key slot.

The vault door buzzed slightly, then began to open.

Slowly, the contents inside caught his attention.

It was sectioned into different areas filled with armor sets, diamond bars, rare materials, and weapons of all kinds.

To the side was a single row of materials that seemed random at a glance, but when he took a closer look, his eyes widened.

—Monastery Key (Legendary)

A special key to open the Legionnaire Monastery Dungeon [Grade 2 ~ 4]

—Vampiric Coffin (Ancient

)While sleeping inside the Vampiric Coffin, you can’t be interrupted. You gain stats based on how long you’ve slept. Minimum sleeping time: 1,000 years.

—Aurelius’s Scarred Blade (Unique-Legendary)

A cracked longsword embedded with fragments of broken angel wings. This item’s effects will be revealed once the user binds with it.

There were many more items like this, and each one was overpowered.

It felt like he was in heaven, so Without wasting time, he expanded his inventory capacity by several hundred slots and began storing the powerful items.

And of course, he sold the items he had no use for. Because of the connection with the Premium Shop, he got all the profits, and not even a single penny went to Jashin.

As for Rael’s own pockets?

<+11,393,998,118,746 Trell>

Hmm… this won’t do, Rael thought, and decided to change it up.

<Ding!>

<You’ve changed currency!>

<New Currency: Premium Coins>

<Ratio: 1,000,000,000 Trell → 1 Premium Coin>

<Would you like to convert all your Trell into Premium Coins?>

<11,394,299,499,922 → 11,394 Premium Coins>

Much better. Rael nodded to himself.

However, he had only cleared a small portion of the vault, and there was so much left.

Just thinking about it was making him drool, but as he took another step forward and began selling all sorts of items, a shiver ran down his spine.

He couldn’t use his Draconic intuition here, but he didn’t need to. It was obvious that someone had caught on to what he was doing, therefore, with a final bout of money, Rael decided it was time to dip.

<+924 Premium Coins>

Rael prepared to leave Jashin’s mind. However, something in the distance caught his eye. It was an large white egg, and when he inspected it from a distance, Rael’s eyes widened.

—Angel Egg (???)

An egg containing a full-fledged Angel. Conditioned for experimentation.

After a brief pause, he dashed forward and stashed the egg in his inventory

And in the next moment, a single person ran into the vault, causing a deadly pressure to descend onto Rael.

“Jashin,” Alcetas called out. “What do you think you’re doing?”

“Checking the quality of the items, what else?” Rael replied plainly. “Is something the matter?”

“You broke into the vault,” Alcetas said. “You didn’t have Solenne’s permission to enter.”

“And? Must I ask permission for every single thing in this palace?” Rael scoffed. “You already plan to kill me, so why does it matter? Let me have my fun before I die.”

“I’m afraid that is no longer possible,” Alcetas replied, taking a few steps closer. “Come with me. You shall answer to Solenne for what you have done.”

“Hmm…” Rael tilted his head, a smile appearing on his face.

Well… I guess this is where I’ll have to say goodbye to the Blazing Sun faction.

“And if I don’t?”
