Chapter 1548 Chapter 1541: World Beyond (1)

None of the Prime Ascendants were surprised in the slightest by Wei Wuyin's decision.

"Yao Houyi, take the helm." Wei Wuyin ordered. The Archer of the Ascendants moved naturally to the helm of the white vessel, commandeering the Voidship directly. The moment his hands touched the helm, a surge of mental energy flowed through and he felt a strong connection to latent Spiritual Strength laced with a dominant alchemical aura that was extremely familiar. It was His Majesty's!

Sensing his newfound control of the Voidship, he spent time familiarizing himself with the functions, formations, and arrays of the white vessel.

"Assist," Wei Wuyin directed toward Shui Fengbao who moved behind Yao Houyi. Faintly, the aura of the Law of Fire aided Yao Houyi gently. Yao Houyi shortly deduced the purpose of Wei Wuyin's order of aid as the various primary functions of the ship required the aura of laws to properly work. He allowed the Law of Fire's aura to flow through him, guided by his Spiritual Strength.

The white vessel slowly began to transform the white color of its hull, flag, and deck became a fiery red. The propulsion formations transformed from accumulating explosive force to fiery explosive force. The Laws of Momentum were directly replaced. Yao Houyi and Shui Fengbao had become Captain and Vice-Captain of the fiery red vessel.

The change caused Cao Cuifen, Yue Songli, Liu Suyin, and Ming Shufeng to gasp or look around them in awe. What a strange ship!

"They took over the Minor Elysium?!" Young Master Shang's expression was astonished at the sight of Shui Fengbao and Yao Houyi's coordination to seize his vessel. That fiery redhead had grasped the Law of Fire? Moreover, the blindfolded individual had gained control of the functions, formations, and arrays of the vessel in moments?!

These people...were not ordinary. No, they were monsters.

Wei Wuyin had long since taken over the vessel's formations during their illusion. He had no intention of allowing them to use it against him. However, he realized that it required Laws and potent, precise Spiritual Strength to pilot. Fortunately, Yao Houyi and Shui Fengbao fulfilled both requirements.

"Determine our route and ETA to the Treasured Vale Galaxy," Wei Wuyin said to Su Mei who immediately nodded. She walked up to Young Master Shang and began seeking out information. She intended to discuss the original traveling plans to the Blessed Yri Empire and the Treasured Vale Galaxy and whether there were better alternatives. Young Master Shang held nothing back. In fact, he was visibly excited as he took several large sips of wine.

"Scry for any potential dangers and information regarding our route to the best of your ability. Look out for irregular Void Phenomena and aberrant lifeforms of the Dark Void." Wei Wuyin spoke to Ming Shufeng whose entire body jolted as her eyes flickered. She gave Wei Wuyin a look and nodded firmly. She was the Heavenly Seer of the group, so she needed to divine any potential dangers, calamities, or fortunes that they might come across. She was accustomed to doing this for others.

Young Master Shang was even more excited at Ming Shufeng's presence. He described all he could. While he wanted to get home, he also felt that these individuals were by no means ordinary despite their weak cultivation or mortal auras.

"For now, both of you are unnecessary. Cultivate until called upon," Wei Wuyin instructed the unassuming, big-breasted woman and Tuo Bihan. The woman gave Tuo Bihan a look, eyeing that large covered object with a complex light in her eyes, and then nodded.

She moved to go down below where Luo Ning resided. Dozens of isolated realms acted as suitable rooms for cultivation. While these tiny realms weren't as gargantuan as Boundless, the Voidship of the Boundless Martial Sect, the once largest known Voidship within the Ancient Sealed Regions, they were of significantly higher quality and studier to accommodate for powerful cultivators at the True Sage Phase and lower in their cultivation.

Tuo Bihan promptly responded. "You got it, Chief." He still had a lot to do concerning his cultivation. If he wanted to be useful to Wei Wuyin, he would need to get stronger. He went down without question.

"Wait." Wei Wuyin halted the two.

Yue Songli blinked her lovely eyes. Those eyes of hers gleamed intensely after observing the sheer commanding presence that Wei Wuyin exhibited. She wasn't the only one. Cao Cuifen and Liu Suyin seemed to be waiting for something as well, their attention focused entirely on Wei Wuyin. Meanwhile, Qing Qiumu was daydreaming as she leaned on the railing, her thoughts elsewhere.

Unlike the others, she wasn't subjected to that earlier illusion. Wei Wuyin wouldn't harm her psyche by subjecting her to being captured and at another's will again. He had promised himself to ensure she never experienced such a thing again. Instead, he had accompanied her while the others were subjected to the illusion. The illusion had lasted, in real-time, several minutes.

She was immersed in her thoughts solely because of the conversation they had. Seeing the shadow of a smile on her face, Wei Wuyin was relieved.

"Songli, Qiumu, Cuifen, Suyin-I'll show you all something. You'll love it. Watch closely so don't miss a thing. Okay?" Wei Wuyin smiled as he looked beyond the starry skies. The four women, including Qing Qiumu, looked out to the distant stars. Qing Qiumu's eyes that sparkled with the luster of emerald, the beauty of nature, and the spirit of adventure reflected her expectant and pure heart.

"Now?" Qing Qiumu asked expectantly as she pressed her hands against the railing, her body forming an exceptional curve, as if she was ready to jump out to the world beyond her known stars. She didn't dare to even blink.

"Mhm," Wei Wuyin lifted his right palm toward the starry sky.

A short while ago, Wei Wuyin had declared to Liu Yinlan and the others that he could leave the Ancient Sealed Region with ease at will. In the illusion, he assisted in allowing Teng Jiangwen, the one-armed elderly man, to escape the confines of the Endless Void Mirror's isolated world in conjunction with the white vessel's spatial formation.

"For some of you," Wei Wuyin swept his gaze across the four women and the Prime Ascendants, "you're well aware that there exists a world beyond our own. That the world we live in, the unreachable stars that we gaze upon, is nothing more than a cage fabricated by powerful existences-the platform of an unfathomable game where these existences are seeking to triumph over the others.

"Our own existence was cultivated to serve their purposes, and we're unable to escape these bindings unless we reach levels that garner their attention like the King of Everlore or play along and succeed in claiming victory for those existences." Wei Wuyin's voice rippled across the void and the hearts of those on board shook at the raw emotions contained within.

Cao Cuifen's fists clenched tightly.

Liu Suyin's eyes flickered with a glimmer of emotion, feelings of yearning, disappointment, and despair pulsed within her heart. Even if she had achieved her dream all those years ago and succeeded in becoming the True Destined Voyager, just like Liu Yinlan, she would have been no more than a glorified warden unable to escape her destiny of being caged.

Yue Songli's head lowered. Her hand around Wei Wuyin's tightened.

Qing Qiumu was the youngest of the four. However, she understood the most about how it felt to be caged and restrained, used for the purposes of others' selfish desires more than any of them. While they all had diverse backgrounds and experiences, each of them understood what it meant to struggle against the will of others and to dream for a better future.

"But this is our home; I've made it ours. Only ours. Cage? Prison? A game? All made for others? You no longer need to consider it as such any longer. Until the day I die in not just body or soul, but in spirit and existence, this will be our haven. Our fates, our freedom, our desires-it's all ours to decide and seize from here on out."

For a brief moment, the entire world felt as if it was drowned out by Wei Wuyin's voice and speaking directly to their True Souls. Their hearts vigorously pounded. Their minds elevated to new heights. Each of their cells screamed with indescribable excitement.

Wei Wuyin's palm pushed outward lightly as if nudging destiny itself aside. Then, he gently breathed.

From beside them, the gargantuan Void Wyrm emerged from fixed space with its serpentine eyes wide open and its body slithering beside them. It gave Wei Wuyin a look, faint signs of draconic pressure exuded from it, empowered by the Minor Authorities of Space and Time. Within blinding speeds, its tail flicked outward and into the ship!

The Minor Elysium vanished beneath its tail.

WHOOSH!!! Beyond the isolated world, beyond the Endless Void Mirror, beyond the Faux-Immortal Sky Source Seal, the fiery red vessel emerged from the void.

The eyes of everyone widened. Yue Songli used both hands to grab Wei Wuyin, as if wanting to melt her hands into his as her eyes reflected a scene that exceeded even her imagination. Liu Suyin's indifferent visage shattered as vivid emotions splashed on her expression, a faint blush on her cheeks, and her breathing hastened.

"Oh!" Qing Qiumu's eyes had never blinked. Her exclamation carried the purest feelings, untainted by her years of agony or imprisonment.

"This is..." Eyes wider than them all, similarly older than each of them, Cao Cuifen's thousands of years of yearning since learning of the Endless Voyage Realm and the truth of the Ancient Sealed Regions was fulfilled within a single moment. She could feel a release that was downright indescribable and damn-near euphoric.

Wei Wuyin gestured toward the Azure-Prime Galactic Zone. "I present to you: what lies beyond."
