This was no carefully laid trap!

In the next instant—

BOOM!

The starry void convulsed violently. The barriers of time and space shattered like fragile glass as three forces—far more vast and terrifying than before—brutally tore through the fabric of reality.

Three supreme entities, embodying the will of Their true forms and radiating annihilating pressure, descended with world-shaking force!

Their appearances remained the same—the behemoth, the black pagoda, the paper figurine—but now, Their brilliance outshone all before Them. Their divine might was so overwhelming that even Wanggu trembled in despair, and the vast cosmos itself seemed to boil under Their pressure!

This time, it seemed Their true selves had arrived!

Disregarding all barriers, They tore through the deepest voids, piercing every dimension to instantly merge with the avatars They had previously manifested.

Fusion complete!

Their already terrifying auras erupted like volcanic explosions, and Their plundering of the dying Desolate intensified dramatically!

Amidst the deafening roar, Desolate’s colossal visage shuddered violently.

Deep, pitch-black fissures—like cracks in shattered porcelain—spread wildly across Its surface.

Its soul essence was violently torn apart and devoured by the black pagoda.

Its flesh and blood were similarly ravaged, chewed and swallowed by the behemoth with even greater savagery...

The entire face withered at a visible pace, drying up and losing its luster as a thick aura of death and decay emanated from It.

Behind It, the behemoth’s crimson eyes burned with greed, as if It had stumbled upon the ultimate delicacy.

The paper figurines’ plundering also escalated. The invisible threads of fate coiled tighter around Desolate, and as They absorbed Its divine authority over fate, the pale paper cutouts began to squirm unnaturally.

Faint facial features and skin textures emerged on their surfaces.

Even more disturbingly, twisted, snake-like strands of fate—reeking of ill omen—began to form and extend within their bodies!

They were evolving from mere "paper" into "living beings"!

Perhaps sensing the immense risk of continuing this way, Desolate’s visage—already torn between Its shadow and flesh—rapidly widened the rift between them.

It chose to separate—temporarily.

But at that very moment...

A deep, bone-chilling hum resonated from the depths of the void!

A river of viscous, foul, dark-golden liquid materialized without warning, spanning the starry sky as It descended upon the battlefield!

The Mother River!

Having bided Its time until now, It finally confirmed the coast was clear—and struck without hesitation!

The filthy waters, like billions of greedy tentacles dripping with soul-corrupting slime, instantly coiled around Desolate just as It attempted to split apart!

The separation... was forcibly halted!

Then, the Mother River’s turbid surface churned violently.

A monstrous face—stitched together from countless twisted, agonized visages—suddenly emerged!

Its gaping maw, seemingly connected to an endless abyss, opened wide...

And took a voracious bite out of the trapped Desolate!

Glowing divine blood, reeking of pungent decay, was violently wrenched from Desolate’s withering face, cascading like a waterfall into the Mother River’s polluted currents.

The moment It absorbed this divine blood, the river’s waves surged with even greater frenzy.

Meanwhile, Desolate—already on the brink of collapse—now teetered like a candle in the wind, Its aura of death so thick It seemed tangible!

Seeing the Mother River’s success and Desolate’s irreversible decline, an icy, ancient, utterly emotionless divine will erupted from within the black pagoda!

Behind It, spacetime was once again torn apart—this time by an even more terrifying force!

A bronze pagoda, Its surface patinated with verdigris and adorned with countless tiny, writhing shrines that seemed to scream in silent torment, slowly emerged from the shattered void!

This... was the black pagoda’s true form!

All prior manifestations had merely been probes!

The moment Its real body descended, the soul-draining force It exerted increased a hundredfold—no, a thousandfold!—as if intending to desiccate every soul in the cosmos!

Witnessing this, the behemoth’s eyes blazed with murderous light. After a brief pause... It abruptly threw back Its grotesque head and unleashed a roar capable of shattering stars!

ROAR!!!

The void behind It collapsed entirely as a monstrous head—forged from squirming stars, shattered realms, and indescribable dark matter—manifested out of nowhere!

Its size was incomprehensible, as though It could swallow entire galaxies in a single bite!

With an aura of absolute annihilation, Its maw gaped wide...

And It lunged at Desolate for the killing strike!

The paper figurine, ever the most cunning and cautious of the three, remained motionless even as the others revealed Their true forms.

Only when... the other three Venerable Gods’ plundering reached its frenzied peak, and Desolate’s decay showed undeniable signs of impending doom...

Did the countless hollow eye sockets of the paper figurines suddenly ignite with two points of blinding, ghostly white light!

One seemingly ordinary paper cutout abruptly split open at its chest—

And from within, a miniature figurine emerged!

This one radiated a nauseating, rainbow-hued glow, Its delicate form exuding an aura of ultimate calamity.

The moment It appeared, the surrounding space silently rotted and disintegrated.

Without hesitation, It transformed into a twisted beam of eerie light, bypassing all obstacles as it shot toward the crumbling Desolate—

A silent but lethal strike, carrying the power to steal fate and rewrite endings!

Yet, just as the rainbow figurine’s attack was about to land, just as the black pagoda’s soul drain, the beast’s devouring, and the Mother River’s binding all reached Their most frenetic climax...
