Youyou and Little Yichen exchanged a glance. While Mu Yazhe was not paying attention, they secretly made faces at him and stuck out their tongues. The two little lads held hands and made themselves scarce!

Finally satisfied, Mu Yazhe turned around and helped Yun Shishi to a seat at the table. The latter asked curiously, “What exactly were you reading? I didn’t hear what Youyou was saying earlier.”

“It’s… It’s nothing!”

“Tell me!”

The more he tried to evade, the more curious she became. Her appetite was whetted, and she refused to let up.

Mu Yazhe furrowed his brows as he suddenly thought of something. He opened the drawer, took out one of the books, and handed it to her.

Yun Shishi went blank for a moment.

“This…”

She couldn’t see a thing, so it was not as though she’d be able to read it with her fingers.

Both exasperated and amused, she punched him. “Hey, are you doing this on purpose? Are you bullying me because I can’t see?!”

“You call this bullying?”

Mu Yazhe suddenly walked in front of her, grabbed her hands, and leaned close to her suggestively.

“Should I show you what real bullying is?”

Her face instantly heated up.

He held her hand tightly, not allowing her to retreat. In the vast darkness of her unseeing eyes, suddenly, the man’s unique scent filled her nostril.

The next second, his slightly hot breath hovered over her red lips.

The man bent over her, pinched her chin and kissed her lightly.

In the corridor, a thought suddenly struck Youyou. His eyes flashed slyly and he stopped in his tracks.

Little Yichen looked at him, puzzled, as the boy raised his index finger to his mouth and made a gesture for him to shush. He turned around on tiptoe and walked towards the study.

The two kids sneaked up to the study door that had been left ajar, and saw Mu Yazhe kissing Yun Shishi in the room. They were entangled in an embrace, seemingly reluctant to part.

The shy Little Yichen hurriedly covered his eyes with his hands, not daring to look further!

Youyou, on the other hand, was enjoying the show!

Not able to watch on, Little Yichen hurriedly pulled him aside. Blushing, he said, “Youyou, you’re so bad! You actually peeped at Daddy and Mommy kissing! Daddy will be furious if he finds out!”

“How would Daddy find out if neither of us say anything?!”

Youyou replied matter-of-factly, “Didn’t you see? Daddy was so engrossed in kissing that he didn’t notice us at all!”

“Daddy seems to be rather slow-witted recently.”

Little Yichen found it strange too. “Everyone says that pregnancy makes one slow-witted for three years, but why do I feel that Daddy is the slow-witted one now that Mommy is pregnant?!”

“Pfft…”

Youyou couldn’t stop himself from laughing. “It’s not that Daddy has become slow-witted; it’s just that Daddy has become more cautious. He has to think thrice in whatever he does, he has to be more considerate of Mommy! That’s because of Mommy’s status. She’s a precious treasure! If Daddy is gets careless, I won’t let him off!”

“That’s true!”

Little Yichen’s heart ached for Mu Yazhe for a brief moment.

Youyou was tempted to sneak into the study room to “observe”, but Little Yichen quickly stopped him. “Don’t! Let Daddy and Mommy have some alone time! Let’s go have our alone time too!”

“Who wants to spend alone time with you?”

Youyou glanced at him in disdain. “I’m not hanging out with you!”

With that, he turned around haughtily and headed for the bedroom.

Little Yichen followed behind him and shook his head helplessly. One could tell from his smile that he was a doting elder brother!
