The others were stunned to hear that, especially Chi Yutong, Xin Yu, and Yan Li. Since Long Chen was the number one junior expert of the nine heavens, who would dare to provoke him? Why did he have so many enemies?

Green Old Sixth put on a seemingly innocent look and asked, “Can you honestly tell me when you'll return that? I really need it. Long Chen was silent for a moment before finally reaching out his hand. The black and white stone appeared, and he handed it directly to Green Old Sixth.
Green Old Sixth was thrilled and quickly grabbed the stone. After checking it a few times to make sure Long Chen wasn’t tricking it, it finally put the stone away. But then, it sensed something was off and looked at Long Chen.
“This doesn’t make any sense. This isn’t your style. When did you become so nice?” asked Green Old Sixth.
Shaking his head, Long Chen replied, “I don’t like deals like this. I’d rather trust my comrades than scheme. Last time, you broke my trust, and I thought we’d never meet again, but here we are. I do need your help, but forcing you goes against my principles. So I’m giving you the stone. Whether you help me or not is your choice. I won’t make you.”
With an angry tone, Green Old Sixth said, “What the hell does that mean?! You’re giving me another chance to be friends with you, is that it? I am the Great—”
“Take it how you will. I won’t extort someone with this, especially not someone I thought was my friend.”
Long Chen shook his head. Although he knew he could extort Green Old Sixth with this stone, Long Chen still felt uncomfortable doing it.
“Was your friend? What does that mean?! Are we not friends now?” demanded Green Old Sixth.
“I don’t have any friends by my side, only brothers and sisters that I trust with my life.”
Chi Yutong, Xin Yu, and the others were all deeply affected by that. So Long Chen had already considered them as life-and-death comrades.

If it stayed with me, it would just keep causing trouble. It’s better to give it the stone and pretend I never saw it.”
Even though Long Chen said this, Chi Yutong and the others still felt regretful. Since even the Tea Saint recognized it, they could tell it was a truly powerful being.

Chi Yutong asked, “Long Chen, are we heading to the Calligraphy Sect? If you’re in a hurry, we can take transportation formations, and they'll save us half a day of travel.”
