Chapter 3882 - A Terrifying Conspiracy 2
3882 A Terrifying Conspiracy 2
Han Yueyao thought Lin Hang had a weird personality, and despite his coolness, he was a kind guy and could do heartwarming things. But sometimes, his words were too harsh on ears.
After saying these words, Han Yueyao left the 50,000 yuan and walked out of the auto repair shop in relief.
“Big Brother Lin… I think Miss Han doesn’t suit you. Forget it. Xiaoxiao is a good girl.”
The young mechanic mumbled in a low voice.
Lin Hang didn’t speak and didn’t touch the money, but obviously, he had lost his appetite for the meal.
– In South Hill Manor –
Qin Chu got off work and drove home with Huo Mian.
On their way home, Huo Mian remembered that thing.
“Honey, did Gao Ran find some clues about that thing?”
“No.”
“That’s strange. How can a person disappear under the cameras? There are so many cameras in the city.”
“That’s why I said he dodged the cameras on purpose.”
“I feel sad for my brother. The silly boy truly thought Uncle Jing was back. Hehe.” Huo Mian gave a sad smile.
As a doctor, she knew no dead man could come back to life.
It was most likely a conspiracy. Those mysterious enemies could even hypnotize Nie Lingxuan; what were they not capable of?
Huo Mian and Qin Chu had a vague feeling that a big conspiracy was sneaking up to them, but they didn’t expect it would come so soon.
In the evening when they were having supper with Qin Chu’s parents and the kids, Huo Mian got a call from Zhixin.
“Sis, Mom fainted. Come to the First Hospital now.”
“Fainted? Where?”
“Near Jixiang Store. She was delivered to the First Hospital. She’s now in the emergency room.” Zhixin sounded urgent.
“Okay. I’ll be there very soon.”
Huo Mian put down her chopsticks and stood up.
“Honey, my mom fainted. She’s now in the emergency room in the First Hospital.”
“Don’t worry. I’ll drive you.”
Afraid Huo Mian would slip from hurrying, Qin Chu walked her out carefully with a hand under her arm.
“Oh, I’m sorry to hear that. Chu, find a good doctor for your mother-in-law.”
Qin Chu’s mother stood up and instructed them.
“Mom, please go on with the supper and get the kids to bed.”
“Okay. We’ll take care of them. Be careful on the road. Take it slow.”
Walking out of the door with Qin Chu, Huo Mian was a bit alarmed. When she worked at South Side, she’d had her mother take physical checks twice a year and the results were always good. So, when she heard that her mother fainted suddenly, she felt scared, afraid it was a stroke or another serious illness.
“Honey, don’t worry… Mom will be fine.”
With one hand on the steering wheel, Qin Chu placed the other hand on Huo Mian’s cold hand and tried to comfort her.
