He sneaked a quick glance at the imposing, refined man beside him and quietly felt a pang of sympathy for Rong Yan.

“Shut up!” Li Shengxiao had enough of his nonsense. The buzzing chatter was like a fly swarming around his ears, with the final remarks especially grating.
Feeling wronged, Cui Jiangjing rubbed his nose innocently and tried offering consolation. “Looking at your face, it’s definitely been more than two hours. Hey, this is a pretty unique situation! I think Little Yan Rong is different from most girls—she’s not all that pretentious. Explain properly; she probably won’t be mad. Hurry up and call her back, and let her know about Lin Wan’s issue.”
While he spoke, the impeccably suited man finally found his phone. However, when he pressed the power button, the screen remained black.
