Chapter 1544 - 1544 Old Problems 2
1544 Old Problems 2
It had been his father’s idea that he should come to the Pear Yard.
And everyone at the Gu Mansion was bullying Gu Chaoyan, starting from young masters and ladies, all the way to the servants in the kitchen. And his father knew all of these. He even suggested that Gu Chaoyan could be bullied by whoever was in the mansion.
It had been his father who made all of this happen to Gu Chaoyan in the past, but now he was blaming him for what happened as if he were not informed at all. He was even lecturing him!
Gu Yunhe threw a very displeased look at Gu Zhenkang.
His father was ridiculous. He was even deserting him and even made him take the blame.
Gu Yunhe sneered and was about to say something as he looked at Gu Chaoyan.
Gu Zhenkang sensed what he was about to do, so he got up and shouted. “Get Young Master out of Pear Yard and don’t let him stay here to cause trouble.”
The guards rushed in and he got up too, pushing Gu Yunhe out. Gu Yunhe struggled, but he could not get rid of the guards. So he ended up being dragged out. He was gagged too by Gu Zhenkang who did not want him to talk.
All the way until he was out of the room…
Gu Zhenkang let out a sigh of relief, as he withdrew his hands.
Seeing that he could talk, he was about to shout when Gu Zhenkang glared at him, pushing the words out of his teeth. “Shut up! Do you want us to be done altogether?”
“…”
“She hates you now, so you should take all the blame and get out of here as if nothing happened here. If you dare to talk and drag me down, then we are all done!”
“…”
“You don’t even know anything!”
Gu Zhenkang was extremely anxious.
How could this son of his be so stupid. He had to admit that he was this stupid at this moment.
Gu Yunhe, who was struggling, stopped upon hearing what Gu Zhenkang said. He suddenly realized what his father meant. They needed to get someone to be trusted by Gu Chaoyan. His mother and sister were not, and he himself could not be that person either. So his father should try to be the one that gained her trust. If his father was trusted, they could follow the plan accordingly.
Understanding this point, Gu Yunhe stopped struggling and said obediently, “Let’s just go back to our yard.”
Gu Zhenkang let out a sigh of relief.
This stupid son of his was very stubborn too. If he spilled the things they did, they would all be done.
He knew everything that had happened before. And he was worried that he would be betrayed.
The father and son compromised.
Gu Zhenkang let out a sigh of relief, believing that he had made everything move forward smoothly.
Gu Chaoyan had already come out of the room and stood behind them, as she looked at the two people exchanging ideas, then she sneered.
She wondered whether it was because Gu Zhenkang was too stupid, or whether Gu Zhenkang felt that she was stupid, so she could be lured.
“I can ignore Gu Yunhe’s problems with me.” Gu Chaoyan said indifferently.
Gu Yunhe and Gu Zhenkang were both surprised.
Next, Gu Chaoyan continued. “But I would like to know how my mother Ms. Lin died?”
