Chapter 2626: Result

Chapter 2626: Result

“Wake up,”

My clone woke me up exactly four hours later; it had been three days since the great battles, and things were very chaotic, so now I could not even walk in the hallway like before.

Not only me but others too; just yesterday, Grandmaster Salvador said his social life had been destroyed. Not all are sad about what is happening; some are enjoying the fame, and the one who is most is Marie; it seems like she is born for it.

I had stopped going out, not that I much go out unless it is an emergency. Since the project began, I barely had any time to do anything else, and these three days have been jammed-packed.

I woke up from my bed and freshened up, and showered before bringing out a lunch. I usually try to eat with my family, but it is afternoon, my father is working, and my sister is at school; I will try to have dinner with them tonight if possible.

Which is likely, considering the work I have to do.

Buff!

As I finished lunch, I looked at my holowatch before stepping into the teleportation formation, and a second later appeared in healing hall jf28.

Where I saw Grandmaster Charline conversing with the three High Grandmasters, they were a lady Redhorn, Lord Muske, and Lord Rivian, who were kind enough to be part of my experiment.

Three days ago, I had frozen them with lunar frost that Lady Vivian had extracted from their body; like me, I have begun slowly destroying the lunar frost with herbal sun element energy before healing them with an offshoot of strengthening energy.

I am very grateful for my experiments when I tried to create something strengthening energy; though I have failed to create something of that efficacy, I have created something and have improved that formula according to these three.

“How are you all feeling?” I asked after I greeted Grandmaster Charline, “Frozen!” replied Lady Redhorn, clearly very annoyed.

“How long this will continue, Lord Zaar?” asked Lord Ravian, “Not long; you will be out in about two hours; Lady Redhorn will take about five more, while Grandmaster Muske will be free in about half an hour,” I replied as I looked at their at meta-scans.

They have been here for more than three days, and their powers are sealed except for their body’s natural healing ability. Not to mention, the formation is sending two types of energies into their bodies, which are circulating through different pathways for three straight days, which ought to make them tired.

“Good, if you had said one more day, I might have unsealed my powers and walked away,” said Lady Redhorn, to which I smiled.

I talked to them for a few minutes, and they again asked me whether this experiment of mine working. As always, I kept mum and turned to Grandmistress Charline.

There is huge work for us, but we have been sharing our time in this place; this experiment is very important, and if it succeeds, then it will have huge implications on the project, especially for the high-level powerhouses, like Grandmasters and High Grandmasters.

Before I knew it, twenty-five passed as I was engrossed in conversation with Grandmaster Charline and turned to Lord Musk as my clone informed me all the lunar frost inside him had been destroyed and his body completely healed.

“Lord Muske, you can unseal your power now,” I said to him; the old nodded, and I felt his Grandmaster class aura bursting out of his body, clearly stronger than what it was when I first saw it; it immediately surprised the old man and others.

“Please examine your body and soul, and tell me if there is any problem?” I asked; I could see the changes his body and soul had gone through, but I wanted to see that himself. It will spoil all the fun if I hold him that.

He closed his eyes, and a couple of seconds later, a huge change appeared on his face, and he shuddered a moment later before opening his eyes.

“This?” he asked in shock with eyes wide. “The experiment was a success; if I am not wrong, then you had a 19% overall increase in strength,” I said to the shock of all High Grandmasters.

“Such increase by little freezing and unfreezing?” asked lord Muske, which made Grandmaster Charline frown. “It is not so simple,” I replied while shaking my head.

“The frost used to use freeze you was purest lunar frost, the resources used to destroy were the extremly rare sun element resources and the energies that were to strengthen you contained the hint of divine dust and other similar resources, not mentioning the other steps like circulation energies and other things, the calculated amalgamation of all have produced such result,” I explained.

“My apologies, Grandmaster; I spoke thoughtlessly. The change was so shocking that it had muddled my thoughts,” he said. To that, I smiled.

“Everything is fine as far as I could see, Lord Muske, but if you have time, please visit me in a month,” I said. “Of course, Grandmaster,” He said and walked toward the formation, likely going to central command where he summoned.

The council had been eating my ear for three days, I was admonishment, and I truly deserved it. In my excitement, I used three of them in my experiment without thinking they might be needed somewhere else during such a difficult time.

We have limited Grandmasters, and I have incapacitated the three; there would have been disastrous consequences if the Grimms had launched the full attack, and there were chances they might do something like that in response to our attack.

I should have used only one of them, but the lesson has been learned; next time, I will think carefully when I do something like that.

Buzz!

A few minutes later, the formation buzzed, and Erica appeared; we left the two formations and the High Grandmasters on it in her care before walking out of the healing hall.

The formation is delicate, but the most important stage is already over, and if anything handles, Erica will be able to handle it. Grandmaster Charline had taught her well; in such a short time, she had become quite a capable healer.

We appeared in the conference room and found everybody was already there; the conference room was full, from leaders to assistants, everyone was present.

“Director,”

The bustling room became quiet as I appeared and stood up, greeting me with my title. “Everyone, please sit down,” I said, and everyone sat.

“Has everyone returned?” I asked, “Yes, all surviving members of all three projects have returned,” Hazel replied and projected the numbers in front of me.

“In this war, we have lost quite a lot of subjects; just the Grandmaster project has lost thirty-seven people; according to your estimated, two of them had a nearly perfect chance of becoming Grandmasters in the next four months,” she said, clearly stating her displeasure with my decision.

I did not discuss the decision to send them all to war with my team; it is not like I did not want but could not due to the secrecy of the mission.

So, after I returned from the battle, I had to hear quite a lot of complaints, and even now, they did not stop.
