Chapter 2565: Tunnel
Chapter 2565: Tunnel
Rai only stayed with me for a couple of minutes, discussing a few important things before he flew away. He is around, and I could feel his gaze now and them, still trying to ascertain whether I truly know about them or teasing him.
After he left, I once again resumed working, but this time on my Inheritance; both of us were working on the different parts of the Inheritance.
The next breakthrough would be different than all the other breakthroughs. I will make a breakthrough in the Grandmaster class, in which one’s power transforms, and mine too will transform, as I planned to gain the power of the Grand Lord through this breakthrough.
It is a big dream that many people will say is impossible to achieve, and even I don’t have full confidence in achieving it.
It might take me years to create the Inheritance that will let me have the power of the Grand Lord, considering I did not even see anyone breaking into the Grand Lord’s class.
Though I have a huge data on it, not only from the outside but also from the inside. The Pyramid has given me access to the breakthrough data of Grand Lord; it is very hard to get; only those at Half-Step Grand Lord class get to see that data.
The breakthrough wouldn’t be simple, and there is one big condition I will have to satisfy before the breakthrough, and that is comprehending the first energy.
It is the most important condition; without its comprehension, breakthrough into the Grand Lord class would be impossible. I could make a breakthrough since it is Grandmaster class for me, but I am aiming for Grand Lord power, and for it, the comprehension of the first energy is extremly important.
Currently, the Inheritance is just a shell, and even with the help of the clone, it might take me years to finish up the Inheritance.
Still, it is a challenge I will gladly take, and quite excited about it.
As the designing Inheritance of this level would be extremly difficult and even I don’t want to accept it, my current knowledge is not enough to finish it. I will have to collect more data, read more books and conduct many experiments to gain the necessary knowledge.
Hun!
Around nine hours passed in my core when the changes appeared in the meta-scan, and seeing those changes, a smile couldn’t help but appear on my face.
The source had stopped pouring the energies inside her, and so is the everessence; this only means one thing.
The semi-solid core had transformed into a complete core before releasing a huge amount of strengthening energy.
Grandmaster Atkins had finally formed the core; she had wished to do this when she was breaking through the Grandmaster class, but at that time, some unexpected problems had occurred. Now, she had done it, and with it will come power.
I don’t think even a Sharkman would be her match; she would be able to defeat it in a few minutes as long they have fought near the fountain.
It took her nearly twenty minutes for her body to absorb the massive energies, but when she did, she had grown immensely stronger. She had reached very close to Rai in strength; even without her elemental or water manipulation, she would be able to fight against the enemies like Black Sharkman Fasra.
Though her condition and Rai’s condition are totally different. If he had access to his true strength, then Black Sharkman, even with all its power, wouldn’t have been able to last even a minute in front of him.
Hun!
Her breakthrough was over, and I was about to deeply look at her meta-scan to see all the big changes she had gone through when something happened. Her bloodline had activated, and something began to form, and this thing began to absorb the humongous amount of elemental energies around her.
I opened my eyes and saw no change in the fountain, which is kind of expected.
If we were somewhere else, it would have created a phenomenon that would see across hundreds of miles, but there, there is no change. As this place is filled with energy, what seemed like massive energy, is not even a trickle.
Seeing that, I closed my eyes, and they remained closed for about half an hour till they opened, and I saw a small tunnel inside the fountain.
“Rai!” I called out as I walked toward the tunnel.
“A tunnel? How did it appear?” Rai asked, looking at it with his abilities. “We will know when we enter inside,” I replied with a mysterious smile, which again seemed to have made him a little angry, but this time, he did not say anything and just walked with me.
Soon, we stepped into the tunnel, and a big surprise couldn’t help but appear on our faces.
The energy in the tunnel is thin, so thin that even a regular Tyrant might walk inside comfortably. Very different from a step behind us, where energy is so dense that only Grandmaster could bear it.
We looked at each other and resumed our walk; I could see the energy outside of the tunnel getting denser and denser as we headed deep inside the tunnel and pressed against it hard, but the tunnel seemed to tell it against it just fine.
Still, we quicken our pace; the sooner we reach the place where the tunnel is trying to take, the better it will be for us.
It took us a couple of seconds before we reached the end of the tunnel; in front of us was an obscure wall of water, while above and below us, the elemental energy so thick that it would be fatal for us if the tunnel had collapsed.
“Shall we?” I asked Rai and before toward the water screen; unlike him, I knew what was on the other side. I could see it clearly.
“Mich”
I stepped into the watery screen before appearing on the other side with energy so thick that I had never felt it in my life. Even the energies the artifact has provided pales compared to what I am feeling, and all these energies are mellowed.
Still, they are concentrated enough that despite mellowed, only the High Grandmaster would bear it; the Grandmasters would simply suffocate in it.
I have entered a huge cavern that is filled with elemental crystals of High quality; there isn’t a single place that is not covered in a crystal.
A single fistful of these crystals is worth a fortune to a High Grandmaster, but here there is a mountain worth of them, and as Rai entered, he froze seeing them, but more so seeing Lady Atkins, a High Grandmaster.
“You knew about it, didn’t you?” Rai asked after a second of silence. I did not reply but instead turned to Lady Atkins.
“Lady Atkins, congratulations on your breakthrough,” I said, and Rai also congratulated her. “Thank you, Lord Zaar, Lord Solace,” she replied.
“It is quite a place,” Said Rai, while stealing the glances at five-pointed palm side crystal star floating behind her. It is quite mysterious, barely letting out any aura.
If I am right, then this is the thing her bloodline has created, absorbing the massive energies of the cavern. I am quite curious about this thing, too; it should be not anything disappointing considering the number of energies it has absorbed.
