Chapter 2188: Meeting

Chapter 2188: Meeting

“Grandmaster Micheal, they are ready for you,” said Colonel Cynthia as she led me toward the office where the important meeting is.

I have been here a few times, but every time I came here, I felt slightly nervous. I am in the central part of the Pyramid, in the tallest tower there is. The official tower of Pyramid council, the place where all the important decisions made the world.

She opened the door and led me inside a big hall; it is cream-white in color and completely nearly empty, except for a straight marble table with thirteen chairs behind it and one stone chair in front of it, which is for me to sit.

There are five people, aside from Grand Commander, there is Lenora May of Blood Sun, Raymond Loen of Wisdom Tower, Jax Whitman of Silverstone Academy, and Silas Bishop of Sky Saber; except for Raymond Leon, who is present in her physical form, everyone is in their projection.

“Grand Lord, council,” I greeted as I appeared in front of the table. “Micheal, take a seat,” Grand Commander said.

“Thank you, Grand Commander,” I said and sat in a stone chair while one of the most powerful people looked at me.

“The reason we have summoned you, Micheal, is because we want to know your progress on Grandmasters in Hall of Sleep,” asked Grand Commander. I am not surprised; I had expected it to be one of the reasons why they have summoned me here.

“As you all have already been aware, Grand Commander, I, with help from Grandmaster Charline, already devised the healing method for seventeen Grandmasters and made good progress on seven Grandmasters and would able to finish perfecting the method by this months end,” I informed.

“Since you have already outlined the whole healing process, why don’t you begin the healing process. Even if you Grand Lord help, we will provide that to you,” Said Raymond Leon.

There are two people in the Pyramid council that I do not like much. First is Silas Bishop of Sky Saber, and second is Raymond Leon of Wisdom Tower.

I did not have any liking for Silas Bishop because people of his organization tried to kill me, and instead of punishing them, he tried to make things difficult for me; and as for Raymond Leon, he feels kind of shifty to me.

It is a good thing there is Grand Tower Mistress at the top, keeping him in control; otherwise, he would have definitely have ruined the reputation of Wisdom Tower that it had built-in thousands of years.

Though with all their flaws, both of them are extremely powerful people, one of the world’s strongest.

“If it were possible to heal with Grand Lord’s help or any Grandmasters help, I would have already done it, my lord, but the process required a huge amount of energy that special to me, and currently, it is far from enough to bring the Grandmasters out of the sleep,” I replied.

“We did not want to pressure you, Micheal, but after yesterday’s ȧssault, we are under immense strain. We have lost four Grandmasters in a single day. Aside from the final battle in the last war, we have never lost so many Grandmasters at once in these past two centuries,” Grand Commander said.

I shook visibly hearing that and felt like lightning had struck me.

Losing four Grandmasters is a huge loss; there are hundreds of them, and every single one of them is precious beyond value. Losing a single one could affect things hugely, and we have lot four, and that is in a single day.

The Grimms must have made huge preparations; killing Grandmasters are not easy. They are very hard to kill, not to mention quickly rescued or reinforced if things get dangerous for them.

“We did not mean to pressure you, Micheal, but we really need Grandmasters badly.” Grand Commander said. “If there is a way to wake them quickly, the Pyramid is willing to pay the price for it. We will give you as many resources as you want,” She added as she looked directly into my eyes.

“There are ways, but you all already know about them,” I replied, and Grandmaster Commander shook her head in that.

With the method to heal, Ive also provided the ways to heal, but unfortunately, all of them are beyond reach. The resources and tools required for it do not exist in our world.

“So, the only way for them to heal is for you to level up?” Asked Silas Bishop, and I immediately nodded to that.

If it had been anyone else, I would have waited or put a little hesitation, but I did not. Our relation had already soured, and I don’t think any pleasantness would make it civil, so I did not even try for it.

Grand Commander gave Silas Bishop a look before she turned toward me. “Micheal, from now on, focus solely on leveling up; I will put a stop to your missions and your responsibility to mentees and authorize triple resources to than before,” Said Grand Commander.

“There is no need for that Grand Commander, as you know how hard it is to take the next step,” I replied, to which a small mirthless smile appeared on her.

“I will try my hardest to level up and have a complete confidence that within three months, I will make a breakthrough,” I added.

“I would have liked if it had been a month, but it is not easy to take that step; your confidence of reaching there within months of becoming a Tyrant already spoke of your great talent,” She said with a sigh.

Silence descended into the hall, and for a couple of seconds, nobody spoke before Grand Commander spoke again.

“You are already under quite a pressure, and what I am going to say will add even more to that,” she said with a straining smile on her face. “We will need you to double the output of your wares; we will need them in much greater quantity if we want them to have a great impact on the war,” She said.

“Double will be hard before I level up, but I will increse the output,” I said and was thankful when they did not press.
