3408 Test
“Well, I didn’t expect this,” I said as I looked at the long line of people in front of my house.
I didn’t expect this many people would come.
Yesterday, after dinner. I had gone to the healing guild and posted a notice there for an assistant. Though I had expected people to come; I hadn’t expected there would be hundreds.
I am planning on opening a small clinic that will consult and help with the breakthrough.
It will be related to the breakthrough of Primary-III into Sovereign.
If it were up to me, I would have chosen a secluded space and stayed there, till it is time to leave, but I couldn’t no matter what I want to.
I am creating a Sovereign Inheritance, and for it; I need a massive amount of fresh data. There are a huge number of books in the library about it, and they are enough for most people and even me, but I need fresh data.
I require pretty specific things in my breakthrough for it and designed hundreds of tests.
I planned to perform them, while people make the breakthrough.
Though, the chances of succeeding are slim.
Breakthrough is the most important thing in a practitioner’s life, especially the Sovereigns. They don’t want to take advice from a person with no reputation or make a breakthrough in their place.
Still, I have to try. It is the only way I would be able to get the data I need.
I looked at them for a few seconds before getting off the bed and walked into the bathroom and freshened up, before changing my clothes and walked walking out of the bedroom.
In the kitchen, I took out things and started to cook breakfast.
A few minutes later, a smile appeared on my face and all the ingredients disappeared, including the dishes getting cooked on the stove.
Fifteen minutes, they appeared, and I brought it out on the table and served three people.
“It feels nice to eat together,” I said to Ashlyn and Nero.
Ashlyn had woken up a few minutes ago, and it is a reason why I took the breakfast into the storage and cooked it there to save time.
So Ashlyn could have breakfast and not sleep on it halfway.
Soon, I finished breakfast and spent time with Ashlyn before she slept. Even then, I didn’t immediately get down and instead entered my core.

One two and half an hour later, at exactly ten am, I went to the first floor and opened the door for four hundred and seventeen people.
They all looked at me as I opened the door and I at them. All of them are Grade 3 healers, which was my requirement. 70% of them are Primary-III, while 30% of them are Sovereigns.
“All of you. Thank you for coming to a test,” I said to them.
Some of them smiled, some nodded, and the while remained quiet. Just waited for an interview to start.
“Since the place is limited. We will start a batch of hundred.”
“First hundreds of you, come inside,” I said, and a hundred came inside, quickly filling the hall whole.
I looked at all of them, before waving my hand, and immediately, a hundred white crystals appeared around me, which I sent toward them. Each one of them fell into their hands perfectly.
“This is a test crystal, where there are questions. You all have to answer them at best, your abilities and you have an hour for it,” I said and immediately the crystal activated.
They didn’t waste any time and seeped into their soul senses inside.
There are only a hundred questions there, all of which they could easily answer with their knowledge.
I will be testing how they will answer. Which is more important to me.
If I wanted, I could have chosen anyone from the healing guild. Hundreds of them were available for the opportunity, but since I will be in the presence of a person for a month and a half, I want that person suitable, who could think.
The quality of healers is average here, and I want the best among them.
It will be hard, as most of them here are independent and search for mentors who will guild them to the next level.
It is not a simple thing to get. Seeing, even healers, the gentlest of hearts, guard their knowledge and skill; they wouldn’t teach it to another person unless they trust them explicitly or get something in return.
I only need an assistant, as I do not plan to spend all day on this project of mine.
I watched them for a few minutes and looked at the answers. They were writing in the crystal. Nearly all of them disappointed me.
They have knowledge, but couldn’t think out of the box.
The healers from Javelin are still better than the healers of the other cities I have come across.

“Thank you for all attending. I will inform those selected for the interview in the evening,” I said to them. They nodded and left, while another hundred replaced them.
I handed them the crystal, and they begin to test.
I continued for seven hours before it ended, and I closed my doors. The test is over and I have started reviewing the answers.
Of the six hundred and thirty-two who gave the test, only sixteen have been selected. I will interview them in the evening and select one person as an assistant.
I sent the list to the healer’s guild and went out of the house.
There are a few things I have to do in the city. One of them is shopping and also collecting information.
A few hours passed, and by the time I had returned from the city, all sixteen I had selected had been waiting for me.
