3306 Enemies
We moved past the dangerous lightning contained in the mist and other wonders. That was a few hundred meters away from it.
They are everywhere, and every single thing is a treasure, which I couldn’t touch.
Still, they have shocked me; the battle must be truly intense to keep their signs, even after hundreds of thousands of years. It is not easy, as the world will try everything to wipe them away and take them back to equilibrium.
When it couldn’t do that; it separates that part from itself.
It didn’t throw it away, just kept it separated, till the place reaches equilibrium and then merged it back with itself.
It only happened in intense cases like these and takes hundreds of thousands of years for that to happen.
“Monster, three o’clock,” I once again alerted, and a mist covered us while we stopped on our spot. There is no need to take the risk, in a dangerous place like this.
We stayed in our spot for a couple of minutes until the monster disappeared and we resumed our journey.
Another hour passed and continued with our journey.
I looked up and saw the sky, bright as afternoon, when it should be the evening. The balance of day and night here is unpredictable. Sometimes, the evening comes early; it comes later.
It is the same for the day; sometimes it is short and sometimes it is long.
Today, seemed to have been a long day, and I don’t mind. We are moving quite fast. If we keep moving at this speed, it won’t take us over four days to reach our destination.
It was only when everything goes great and we didn’t find ourselves fighting any battles,
“Two Grimms, coming!” I said and both of us fell on the grass, while the mist had covered us. We had taken the risks and decided to walk through the hills, which is only covered in short grass.
It is risky, but it will save us a lot of time. Four times, more times; as these grass hills are covering a large area.
If we didn’t choose the straight way, we would have needed to circumvent it. That we didn’t want to do it.
I could see them through Nero’s eyes and they are coming toward us, fast. They have a stealth method active, and it is average; even if it had been better, Nero would have been able to see it.
Still, these two are dangerous, with both of them being high-Sovereign. One of them had made a breakthrough recently.
It had happened within a week. It is clear through Nero’s eyes.
‘Shit!’ I cursed as I saw them coming and they were coming toward us; looking at the angle, they are moving. They would be less than a hundred meters away from us, at the closest.
I wanted to curse madly upon seeing it, but I had controlled myself and remained frozen as Ragas beside me.
Seconds passed and soon, there were only a few hundred meters of distance between us, which they are crossing fast with their big steps and soon, they reached the closest to us.
There is now a distance of eighty-eight meters between us, and it made me relieved to see, them keep walking.
They didn’t notice us.
‘Fuck!”
That thought had just flashed through my mind, when suddenly. The stronger Lone Horn Crockman stopped and turned toward us; I could feel his soul sense spreading and covering us.
For a few seconds, it kept searching, before suddenly locking on us.
A surprise, flashed in the eyes of the Lone Horn Crockman before it transformed into a grin.
“I had truly, not believed they had said, there is a host of the Grand Art, but there is, and I have found it,” it said excitedly.
It is extremely excited, and I would be too if I had been in its place. The host of Grand Art is a price, they are rare. Even in their realms, they are rare, and there is an extremely high bounty on them.
The same is for the Grimm; all the top organizations of the world had posted a bounty on Grimms with Grand Art.
It is so big that even I would be enticed to report it. If I had caught any Grimm host of Grand Art.
It looked at us for a moment before the stealth field artifact came out and spread across the stealth field. It had spread for less than half the distance outside, but it would be enough, seeing its power.
The moment the stealth field activated; a huge purple lance appeared in its hand, filled with a thick powerful energy.
“Die!”
It roared and sent its lance toward us.
As it did, we stopped hiding. My sword appeared in my hand and Ragas took out a shield. A big black stone shield.
Bang!
A moment later, the giant lance crashed into the shield, creating a loud banging noise and nothing else. I didn’t feel even the slightest bit of energy fluctuation, as the big stone shield had absorbed it all.
“Urk, handle that human. I will deal with this bastard with Grand Art,” said Grimm. The other Lone Horn Crockman hesitated as it looked at Ragas, but seeing the look from the other Grimm, it moved.
It also wanted to have credit for killing Ragas, but other Grimms aren’t willing to share it, and since the other one is powerful, it is forced to listen.
“Keep it busy for a while; I will deal with it and come to help you,” said Ragas.
To be honest, I wanted to hide behind him. I have a feeling it would be the safest spot, but since he said it, it wouldn’t look good if I stayed.
I am not someone who couldn’t lift his own weight.
So, no matter how much I wanted to hide behind him; I stepped away from him and turn to face the Lone Horn Crockman, coming at me.
