3137 Inheritance Palace
Thud Thud Thud…
We landed not in front of the front entrance I had expected them to be, but at the southern entrance.
It seemed confusing as one could reach the inheritance palace from the front gate too. Still, there must be a reason for them to do that, they wouldn’t have chosen this entrance for no reason.
As we appeared in front of the door, multicolored runes appeared on our bodies, from the four leaders.
If I am not wrong, then I am, then these runes have come from the keys.
As the runes covered us, we stepped inside the formation. I did not wait. After the first person, I walked inside. I hate it when they push me; I hate it so much that I wanted to kill them.

I appeared on the other side, and we were not scattered. All of us had appeared in the exact spot.
It seemed like the key does much more than open the gates of the inheritance palace.
“The gates had yet to appear,” said Reta, looking at the white empty circle. “It will appear in a few hours,” said nem man.
Seeing I have a couple of hours to kill; I looked around. We are in a garden, one which is in terrible shape. Everything is taken.
People have not only harvested the resources from the plants but also taken the plants themselves. Leaving nothing for people like me.
There are not many people around, which is understandable.
This place is harvested and even being the entrance of the inheritance palace appearing here. Only those with the keys could enter inside. So, most people see no reason to waste their time here.
Though it might change, there are a lot of freeloaders, and people could see big groups and make their assumptions.
I hope many people come and try for it; I would love to get away amidst the chaos.
I search for the resources for a few minutes, but when I did not see any. I just sat down by the tree stump and closed my eyes. A second later, I was in the library working on my inheritance.
“Human, wake up,” said Reggie, and I opened my eyes.
Immediately, I saw the white circle, which had been empty, now had a blue rock disk and in this disk have four holes.
The four leaders have already appeared on it and now and now inserting the keys into the keyholes.
Click!
The moment they did, a clicking sound rang out, and a door with a silvery white screen appeared on it.
“Friends from powerful families. Would it be possible if some of us to enter there with you?” asked a Peak Sovereign with a long-scaled tail. He is not alone, around him are more than forty-Sovereigns.
He looks quite confident, and I wish I could slap the idiot.
The moment he uttered those words; ten sovereigns from each of the group moved with aura blazing. It alarmed the man, but it’s already too late.
The bastard had tried to join the opportunity without sufficient strength.
Forty-six sovereigns are not a good number. The four groups have more Sovereign than them. Not to mention, the overall quality is so much better.
The idiot should have gathered at least over a hundred sovereigns before asking such a stupid question.
Bang Bang Bang
For the next few minutes, loud sounds begin to ring out. It had only stopped when over forty sovereigns fell on the ground, bloodied and broken.
“Be grateful that we are in a merciful mood today or it would have been even worse,” said the leader of the iras group.
“Let’s go, we have wasted enough time,” said Nem man, and soon we begin to enter. This time there was order, the Primary-III were the first to enter.
They added me and Kara to that list before the Sovereigns begin to enter after us.
The first thing I saw when I entered the other side was the grand hall. Inside it are archaic stone gates, carved masterfully. With all types of design.
There are twenty-three doors. Eleven on each side, while one in front which is a door, but not like the rest.
Still, it was the most magnificent one. It is not surprising; that it belongs to a clear lake inheritance.
There is another thing in this magnificent hall. A round, black crystalline sphere in the center.
I do not know what it is, but I could guess.
“All the Primary practitioners touch the stone in order, we have decided,” said iras race woman.
Immediately, a stone-skin person, Peak Primary-III young man, walked ahead and placed his hand on the black crystal.
For a couple of seconds, nothing had happened before the crystal above the third door on the left lit up. I could see the clear disappointment appearing in his eyes. As he looks at the crystal and the door below it.
As I had guessed, the crystal was to guess the suitability of the person for the inheritances here.
He is suitable for the Verons Aqua. I don’t know what kind of inheritance it is, but he clearly did not like it. Or maybe he was pining for Clear Lake and was just disappointed that he was not suitable for it.
“Next,” said Iras race and women and iras race young man walked toward the crystal and placed his hand on it.
A couple of seconds later, the crystal on the door lit up, and not one crystal, but three, including Verons Aqua. He also seemed disappointed, but not as much as a stone skin man.
A second after, he removed his hand. Nem race girl appeared and placed her hand on the crystal.
After a couple of seconds, the crystal above the door lit up, and not a common door, but the door with Clear Lake inheritance.
“Yes,” the girl screamed in joy, and nobody looks said anything, except for looking at her with varying emotions. Those with her race looked at her with joy and pride, while others, with jealousy, hate, and anger.
After her, another girl came lighting up the crystal above two doors, but left in disappointment.
As she did not light up the crystal of Clear Lake.
One by one, every Primary-III walked toward the crystals, getting varying results. Those who lit up Clear Lake were very happy, while others were disappointed.
Soon, all twenty-nine Primary-III had placed their hands on the crystals. Of these, six were able to light the Clear Lake doors. Stone skin, and Iras had two people each, while Nem and Tiger Beastmen had one each.
There are only two Primary-III who did not touch the crystal, Kara and me.
“Don’t you want to try, Morant?” asked Ura mockingly. I was wondering how long it would keep his mouth shut; it was already a record that he was able to keep his mouth shut till now.
“No,” I said simply, without even looking at me.
“As we have discussed. We will first go through the other inheritances before moving toward the Clear Lake,” said bulky tiger beastman and turned to all Primary-III
“Those who want to imprint the inheritances, raise your hands?” he asked.
Those who lighted up Clear Lake were first to raise their hands before slowly others did.
A total of seventeen raised their hands and twelve choose not to.
