3094 Klahan
I looked at the purple medallion in hand and immediately became surprised. As I had thought it to be metallic, but it had turned out to be crystalline.
There is no text on it, but a simple design of three globes, similar to the three moons hanging in the sky.
I stared at it for a moment, before you sent out my vitality, soul energy, and inheritance energy inside it and immediately felt it imprinting it.
I did not get a memory packet from it; it had just imprinted my energies. When I investigated a little, I felt it was impossible to remove my signature from it, and that couldn’t help but make me relieved.
It wouldn’t have been a reliable id if a person of my power could wipe the signature from it.
Buzz!
I inserted my energies again, and this time, a change occurred. It buzzed and the projection of three moons appeared above it.
The moons looked like the moons in the sky.
I looked at them for a few seconds before stopping the energy and projection to disappear.
Putting the id in my storage, I flew up, and soon; I flew above the hill and immediately saw a huge city, fifty miles away. He had said the city is small, but it is huge, bigger than the one I had been to a few minutes ago.
I flew toward it and within a few seconds; I noticed quite a lot of people going toward the city or coming from it.
I did not fly too fast, nor I could. The energy is so dense that it feels viscous. I could not fly too fast here. Only the Sovereign could fly faster. Those below it will have to go slow.
Thud!
It took a few minutes before I slowed down and landed a mile away from the giant city gates. Through which a couple of Grimms could easily walk in, with their hand in their air.
I would have flown above the gates if I could, but it seemed like Primary stage practitioners couldn’t fly over the city.
Some are doing it, but it is obvious they have a special privilege.
Soon, I reached near the gates and saw thousands of people coming and going out of it. There is no checking, but now and then, I would see guards asking any random people for their IDs.
I did not stop seeing that and continued, with my gait being confident and my face did not have a hint of nervousness, as I walked through the gate.
“Id,” said the guard to me and I couldn’t help but curse at my luck, but on the outside, my expression remained unchanged. I stopped and turned to single eyes guard and flashed out a purple medallion.
Immediately, a surprise appeared on his face. It had taken him a while to collect himself from the surprise.
Buzz!
“Is it yours or have stolen it from someone?” he asked with a sharp voice. My expression did not change, but I had poured all three of my energies inside and immediately, the projection of three moons appeared for a moment.
He shook as a shock appeared on its face. Even the guards beside him had a shock in their eyes.
“My apologies for stopping you, guest. With the purple Id, you have the privilege of flying over the city,” said the guard, with his tone turning to be mellowed from hard.
I just nodded and walked inside the city of Klahan.
It is not just the guard who is surprised. It had surprised me too. I knew this id must be good since Rayna’s brother had given it to me, but not expected it to be this good.
It is a good and bad thing. As it will let me go to the places where I couldn’t, but will also make me noticed and I don’t want that.
Currently, I am too weak to handle unnecessary attention. I need to understand this world first, its rules and ways, and grow in power.
This world is dangerous, far more than our world, which had Grimms in it.
Within a minute of arriving in this world, the slavers captured me and sold me into slavery. I worked in mine, charting my escape, but just when I did that, I got hurled out by a powerful force.
I don’t want to be in that situation ever again.
I walked out of the gates and into the city and what a magnificent city is. It is massive, with buildings of all sizes, shapes, and styles. Our greatest cities are dust compared to this.
The thing is, it is just a common city. Rayna’s brother had referred it to as a small city. I couldn’t help but wonder what a big city would look like.
It is a night, but I did not immediately find a place to stay, instead. I slowly walked down the street. Listening to the conversation of people, understanding the world through their conversations.
I barely know anything about this world, and while I had read about it in the library, that information is ages-old.
I had heard some tidbits from the uncollared in mine, but it is too little. I need more and listening is the best option to understand it.
I had roamed through the city for three hours, listening to everything I could before walking into a dome shaped glass pub. It is big, with hundreds of people talking and laughing while the music played in the background.
They are talking in different languages, but the most common is the universal language, and the second is the local language.
During my walk through the city, I had noticed that. Most of the people here are bilingual, many effortlessly switch from local to universal and vice versa. In my world, only a select few know the universal language.
I could not compare my tiny world to the Prime world. The difference is even bigger than comparing a newborn infant to a Grand Lord.
“What can I get you?” asked the horse Beastman. “Fire ale, roah steak, and gak fries,” I answered effortlessly. “Right away,” he said and disappeared while I looked and listened.
I never had that drink or the food I had ordered, but I had seen the name on the huge menu and ordered it. I hope it is good.
It had been ages since I ate something good.

A minute later, the waiter returned, bringing my order. “Here is your fire ale, roah steak, and gak fries.” He said as he put my order down.
“Thank you,” I said. He seemed a little surprised but nodded before disappearing again, while I turned to the food.
It looks at ale, which looks like a normal ale aside from the fire specks. I take the glass in my hand and take it to my lips before taking a sip.
Gulp!
It was mellower and far tastier than any ale; I had drunk, even better than the one I had brewed, but the real fun started when I gulped down the wine.
The wine had turned into a fire in my stomach. It is powerful, but not painful, at least for me.
It kind of felt nice.
I minute later; I took another sip of it before turning to the steak. It smells delicious. It cut a piece of it and ate it with a small cherry tomato.
It begins to melt in my mouth as I begin to chew it, tasting quite wonderful. The chef of the bar had some talent. His skill could be at about 50th recipe of the cooking tome.
It is not easy to gain such skills; I know the years; I needed to be spent inside tome to reach the 50th recipe. It was hard but fulfilling.
It is not just stake that is good, but also the fries that before I know it. I have an empty plate and glass in front of me.
“Another glass of fire ale please,” I said to the waiter, and a few seconds later, it appeared. I drank this one slowly. Listening to the conversation around me, which is enriching my knowledge by the second.
“Bill, please,” I said to the waiter, and a few seconds later, the bill appeared in front of me.
I looked at it before dropping a small crystal P1 Daros crystal on it. The waiter was surprised, but quickly took and a few seconds later, came out a change.
I took the change, but not before leaving a generous tip, which made the eyes of the waiter light up.
There is no common currency in the prime world. One could trade in any kind of energy crystals.
Though, depending on the region, there are common energy crystals used as currency.
Take the city of Klahan. It is a level 2 Sovereign city and the most commonly used currency here is our Ro crystals. 80% of transactions that happens here, happen in Ro crystals.
The value of standard P1 grade Daros crystals is one hundred and twelve Ro crystals. The whole meal and tip had cost me nine Ro crystals in total.
It was totally worth it.
