2991 Crash
‘He broke the seal,’ I said as the clone one began to act; Rai had broken the seal forcefully.
The seals have reformed as he leveled up to Grand Lord, containing a massive mutation created during the breakthrough.
If everything had gone well, then the seals would slowly filter the mutation and merge with him for a longer period of time, but now he had broken the first seal for the greater power.
Rai had talked to me about it earlier, and seeing there is no other way around it, I have done what I could.
I have created the fast-filtering mechanism and attached it to the seals; it will not only filter the most dangerous parts of mutation but also spread the mutation into required places in such a way without changing Rai.
It will be a difficult task, but clone one is able to do it; it knows Rai better than himself, and seeing we have studied Marina detailed. It will be able to distribute mutation without changing the appearance of Rai.
Most importantly, the breaking of the seal would provide him with immense power.
I was present when he broke through the Grand Lord class just a few days ago and was shocked by the mutation produced.
I don’t think anything other than the seals made of nine-color matter would be able to contain so much mutation.
If we survive today, then Rain will be our greatest weapon against that being; opening those three seals would provide him with tremendous power.
The same could be said about Ellen and Jill; both of them are just High-Grandmasters. If they break through to Grand Lord, we will have a real chance of defeating that being.
CLANNNNNG!
The first clash of the golden lance had brought me back to my thoughts; the lance clashed against my shields, with its power spreading across it.
CLANNNNG CLANNNNG CLANNNNG!
That was just the beginning, as the very next moment, tens of lances struck across my shields, and the Rain of lances began.
I poured the massive energy at the same time, processed the energy from the lances, and sent it back to the shields; every moment, I would need to provide less and less energy to defend till it stabilized to a tenth of the max I had provided.
All the formations are running to their maximum efficiency, while clone two is constantly analyzing data and modifying the formation to deal with its bloodline energy.
Thankfully, I already have a lot of data about Golden Fire Werewolves’ bloodlines, and thus am having a much easier time modifying the formations.
CLANNNNG CLANNNNG CLANNNNG!
Finally, the last thousand lances hit at the same time; finally forming a faint crack in my shield while the same time creating a shockwave powerful enough that it broke the space for hundreds of miles.
“You are good, really good,” it said with a toothy smile, but I could say the blazing anger in its eyes.
“Thank you for the praise,” I said with a smile, which seemed to make it even more angry and killing intent in its heart even more intense.
It is quite vast in its power, though it did not have a deeper flavor than the killing intent of Rhaek and other Grand Lords.
It might have great power, but it does not experience; its moves are quite sloppy, at the level of Masters at most, which is the main reason why, despite having such power difference, I was able to predict its attacks.
From what I am able to see, they seemed to have been advanced in the pods; their power and breakthrough had not been natural. It had been artificial through some unknown method.
Well, it is great news for us because if it had the experience of someone like Rhaek, then our bodies would have been in its stomach already.
“We have played enough; it is time to finish you off,” it said, and waves of aura came out of it; it was vast and powerful, and I felt suppressed by it alone.
It was not done as soon as that wave of aura had transformed into the bloodline phantom. A huge thing which I did not dare to look directly into the eyes, as the hammering pain would not be the only thing I would receive from it.
The phantom stayed behind for a moment before merging back with it, reinforcing its power further.
“You should feel proud that you have forced me to use this,” it said; golden fire flared across it as it came at me
Knowing it was time to stop holding back, I burned my essence to full power, and at the same time, the formation inside me had also been activated as its full strength.
Before I merged with the essence of the old snake and went through Nirvana, I wouldn’t have been able to run such massive energy through my vein. It would have torn veins apart; now all I am feeling slight discomfort.
It appeared in front of me like a phantom, silently and swung its claws; its movements were fast, but without grace, someone of its power would have, but sometimes, raw power is more than enough to finish the job.
I swung my sword defensively, using every ounce of power I could muster through me, using every type of energy I had to gain the edge.
CLANNNNNNNG!
A sound like never before rang as we clashed and froze for a moment before a shower of blood came out of my mouth with bits of pieces of flesh while I cashed toward the earth at speed, faster than I had even flown.
This moment gave me a second to look at the all the battles, and a small smile appeared on my bloody face.
Rai is fighting the battle to a standstill, even pushing the Grimms now and them, while others are doing not bad, which is not surprising considering their bloodlines and inheritances.
Not to mention the last reward from the thing, which brought them to the peak of their level, and now they are burning their essence, harnessing such power that is shaking even the Grimms.
The only one, who is doing worse than me, is Matron Mavis.
Which is not surprising considering how she is; she does not have the exuberance life force we have.
The only reason she is still standing before her experience and the immense amount of vitality the seed is also providing Ashlyn, who is fighting with her against the Grimm.
p
We had asked her to leave with rest, but she was not willing; she said if she were to die, then she wanted to die while fighting.
BANNNNNG!
It took a second before I crashed on the hard black-stones, letting out another spray of blood through my mouth.
I had created a cushion of energy and strings, but it was not able to save me from the hard blow, which made me vomit and cracked a couple of my bones.
What is more surprising is the hope that formed; it is not more than twenty meters wide and two meters deep.
If it had been in the central continent, a miles long crater would have formed by such a powerful crash.
