“Lady Yui increase the flow of your energy; Lord Yazdi continues pouring the energy,” I said as I increased the flow of energy.
We three High-Grandmaster are sitting on the triangular formation, and in the center of it is a Grandmaster, who is floating in mid-air while her body is completely covered five-inch thick black substance, and on it is a dense formation.
The Grandmaster’s name is Veera Candance, a peak Grandmaster; she was not on the list of breakthrough candidates for this month or the next six months. I barely started on her, and she would have needed at least one year to one and half years before she had a chance to breakthrough into the High-Grandmaster class.
Things changed during a mission a few days ago; she had come across a wonderful opportunity in the ruin that had changed things.
So, when I read her data from the new seeds that the team had sent, I immediately devised the method to fill the gaps she had with an insanely expensive treatment, which her organization was more than happy to pay for.
Now, with this treatment, she will be completely ready to make a breakthrough into the High-Grandmaster class.
Pyramid wants High-Grandmasters, no matter the price they have to pay to make them. I have received a letter from the councils of nine supremes saying they are willing to give me separate access to resources other than normal donations as long as I help their member to advance into the High-Grandmaster class.
The conditions are agreeable, considering the supremes are not holding back on their general donation; it is a win-win for both the project and supremes.
It is giving an undue advantage to supremes, but I could do nothing about it. I could slow down a little to give the other organizations more advantage, but now with that thing appearing, my hands have also tied up to anything.
Now, if they want to compete, then they will have open their treasuries and provide us resources. So, we will not slow down because of resources.
The letters from the team had already said that some organizations have also started opening their treasuries, and with time, more would join because they do not have any other choice; we are their only hope.
Crack Crack Crack…
More than an hour passed when I and two High-Grandmasters removed their hands from the formations. The black block also gently landed on the ground cracks began to appear on it, and its pieces began to fall down before a figure of Grandmaster Veera revealed itself through it.
“You only need to go through two more treatments prepared by the director on the mainland, and you will be ready to make a breakthrough into High-Grandmaster,” I said, and hearing that the women’s eyes couldn’t help but light up brightly.
“Though I would suggest waiting, you have a good chance of creating a bloodline core. If you worked hard and got a few more lucky chances, you might form it within a year,” I suggested, which surprised her and both High-Grandmasters.
I have looked at her bloodline, and it is nearly ready to form the core; the opportunity she got in the ruin is pretty fantastic. I have compared her old meta-physical with the new one, and the advancement her bloodline made in a single month could be said to be shocking.
She would have needed years to make such great advancement.
“Thank you for the advice, Grandmaster; I will think about it,” she said and thanked the other before leaving. She will not be staying in ruin; she will leave within an hour.
“Core, it is one of the great regrets I have,” said Lady Yui with a sigh; “Me too; at our level, it is very hard to create a core than it is at Master or even Grandmaster class,” added Lord Yazi with a tone of regret.
I did not say anything as what they said was right; once you reach the High-Grandmaster class, it becomes very hard to create the core.
“Well, our future is not dead; we have that thing; I just hope Grandmaster Zaar will make us completely ready to take every opportunity from that thing,” said Lady Yui as she turned me with her twinkling eyes. “I will try my hardest, Lady Yui, Lord Yazdi,” I said, and we walked out of the hall.
It is morning, and I will be leaving with Lady Yui in an hour.
She had come two days ago, replacing Lord Remus; it is I who had asked for the replacement. I did not have any complaints about him, but I have finished with his treatment, and it would be a more efficient use of me to send another High-Grandmaster to receive the treatments.
I like Grandmaster Yui, she is fun, and unlike most High-Grandmasters, she is not old; she is about the professor’s age and fun to be with.
Hun!
Suddenly a surprise couldn’t help but appear on my face, and about a minute later, Lord Yazdi’s holowatch lit up.
“Grandmaster Rhea returned earlier than I had imagined,” He said, and we flashed toward the command, and a few seconds later, we appeared. It took a little more than a minute before the silhouette of Rhea appeared in front of our eyes and got bigger and bigger every moment.
‘Interesting,’ I said as my clone began to read the data that my seed inside her began sensing, and it was very interesting, more than I thought it would be, especially about the luminescent pool; the luminescent pool of high Grandmaster class is different than I had imagined and the benefits are also different.
Thud!
Rhea landed on the central command, and looking at her face, she seemed quite tired. Though, her tired eyes flashed when she saw Lady Yui, who smiled at her.
“Grandmaster Rhea, I am glad you have arrived safe and sound,” said Lord Yazdi, “You came early; weren’t your missions supposed to last for about two weeks?” I asked directly; I do not have to be polite with my words.
Her expression turned serious when she heard my question, “I have come across something, which is beyond my level,” she said, and hearing that, all our expressions became serious.
“What is it?” asked Lord Yazdi, to which she shook her head. “I don’t know, but it seemed to be a vestige, and when I got close to it, my bloodline began to react,” she said and tapped on her holowatch, and soon a couple of images began to appear in front of us.
The most prominent of all these images is a huge door made of bones. It looked like the door was weaved from the thousands of intersecting bones; just looking at it gave me a gloomy feeling.
“Have you entered inside?” asked Lady Yui, to which Rhea shook her head. “No, the danger I felt there shook my soul, but that place definitely had something that would immensely benefit my bloodline,” she said with a look of anticipation and fear.
“Well, it changes things,” I said, and Lord Yazdi nodded. “It seems like you will have to cancel your plans for region three, Grandmaster Zaar,” He said, and all I could do was smile.
