Chapter 6242: Seven Realms Immortal Sect

Jie Shanxian was drawn to Chu Feng’s method of tempering that black metal lump.

Chu Feng thought Jie Shanxian would ask about his means, but the latter didn’t. Instead, she opened her palm and revealed a formation in it. Two pills rose from the formation. One floated to Chu Feng, and she popped the other one into her mouth.

Chu Feng could tell the pill was freshly concocted.

Jie Shanxian hadn’t been talking not because she was recuperating, but because she was focused on concocting these two pills inside her body.

Chu Feng sensed that the pills contained a powerful aura concealment effect, which left him wondering why she didn’t just conceal their bodies. It would have been much easier to do that.

Sensing his doubt, Jie Shanxian explained, “The place we’re heading to is occupied by Ancient Era’s races. This pill hinders them from discerning us as intruders. You don’t have to tell them too much other than the fact you’re an unaffiliated cultivator. As long as nothing goes wrong, they would assume we’re from the Ancient Era as they don’t think present-era cultivators can get in.”

She formed a hand seal and changed her appearance into that of a middle-aged woman, and her physique became flat. She didn’t want to attract unwanted attention.

“You have your disguise means, right? Or do you require my help?” Jie Shanxian asked.

“It would be best if you could help me,” Chu Feng replied with a smile.

He had ways to disguise himself, but Jie Shanxian’s disguise means were bound to be superior given she was a Heavenly Dragon World Spiritist.

“Take this pill.” Jie Shanxian passed a pill to Chu Feng,

Chu Feng swallowed the pill, and the pill transformed into a formation that enveloped his body. He could now alter his appearance at will. He disguised himself as an ordinary man too.

“Elder, is there anything else I should pay attention to?” Chu Feng asked.

“We’re entering a huge realm where many Ancient Era’s races reside. There are many different factions there, but there are plenty of unaffiliated cultivators too. Two regions in the northern boundary and southern boundary are sealed. I once asked the cultivators there what’s in the sealed regions, but no one can say for sure what’s in there.

“The two regions are sealed by powerful barriers. The southern boundary’s barrier is from a treasure, whereas the northern boundary’s barrier is from a world spiritist’s formation. My guess is that the two regions are under the control of powerful Ancient Era’s clans, with the southern one being cultivators and the northern one being world spiritists.

“Our goal is the sealed region in the northern boundary. We are looking for a poisonous purple flower that locals call Purpledream Ascension. Its name comes from its lethal poison; anyone afflicted with the poison will enter a purple dreamscape. It’s said that the dream is beautiful, but one will quickly lose one’s life force till death.

“For that reason, locals dare not to harvest Purpledream Ascension. However, it is a world spiritist’s cultivation resource, and I have a way to refine it. The refining method requires a potent bloodline power. With your bloodline power, I should be able to quickly refine it,” Jie Shanxian said.

“Elder, have you encountered anyone powerful inside that realm?” Chu Feng asked.

“I have yet to meet anyone stronger than me, but the same can’t be said about the two sealed regions as I’m unable to breach them. I don’t know if I can deal with whoever resides there. The Ancient Era’s races have been awakening since God’s Era’s opening, so the powers residing there are unlikely to be dormant. Our target is just a poisonous flower that no one wants, but it’s best for us to lie low and avoid trouble,” Jie Shanxian said.

“Elder, I agree.” Chu Feng nodded.

“Let’s go.” Jie Shanxian stowed away the bamboo boat before pulling Chu Feng down into the bubbling lava beneath.

A layer of spirit power protected Chu Feng from the lava. Jie Shanxian brought Chu Feng to the place where he sensed earlier, opened the passageway, and entered it.

The journey was smooth sailing, and they soon landed on the ground.

Chu Feng raised his head, but the passageway was nowhere to be found. He could only see the blue sky and white clouds as if the passageway had never existed.

This place felt much larger and more vibrant than the formation realms most Ancient Era’s races resided in. He could already see several cultivators around him. Some were flying in the air, whereas others were traveling on land via chariots. Most of them were in groups.

He could tell from their clothes that the cultivators were from different powers, but they didn’t harbor hostility against one another. Many of them chatted joyously while traveling together as if close friends.

“Are they all Ancient Era’s cultivators? What a harmonious sight! It feels like a trip back in time.” Eggy was excited.

The Ancient Era’s cultivators they had met thus far were arrogant fellows whose chins were always tilted upward when talking to them. This was their first time seeing the Ancient Era’s cultivators in their daily lives.

Strictly speaking, these people were born in the present era too. It was just that they clung to their ancestor’s past glory, so they identified themselves as Ancient Era’s cultivators.

“They seem to be heading somewhere. Chu Feng, is there a commotion awaiting us? Or maybe a fortuitous encounter?” Eggy asked.

She noticed that the crowd was all heading in the same direction.

Curious, Chu Feng pricked up his ears to listen to their conversation.

It was the Huangfu Heavenly Clan. They had invited the Ancient Era’s cultivators to decipher their treasure.

Chu Feng knew about the Huangfu Heavenly Clan. Their most talented prodigy, Huangfu Shengyu, had caused quite a commotion in the Nine Heavens’ Zenith back then.

“Oh? Is this the Huangfu Heavenly Clan’s base? What a coincidence!” Eggy chuckled.

Chu Feng turned to Jie Shanxian and asked, “Elder, have you heard of the Huangfu Heavenly Clan?”

“Not at all, but judging from the number of people heading there, the Huangfu Heavenly Clan might be one of the major powers hiding in this realm.” Jie Shanxian turned to Chu Feng and asked, “Are you interested in joining the commotion?”

“I’m tempted to,” Chu Feng smiled.

“Let’s deal with what we came here for first. I’ll bring you there if we can make it in time,” Jie Shanxian replied before taking Chu Feng northward.

This was at odds with where others were heading.

To not attract attention, Jie Shanxian opted not to use the bamboo boat, but their journey didn’t take long as there were teleportation formations they could use.

By the time they emerged from a teleportation formation, there was already hardly anyone around them. The number of people further decreased as they continued heading north. Soon, their surroundings were all nature, with no signs of cultivators anymore.

A while later, they encountered a visible barrier in the far distance. It extended from the earth to the sky as if it was the end of the world.

If there were truly two reclusive powers in this realm, the Huangfu Heavenly Clan was probably the one occupying the south, whereas another one occupied the north.

The answer was soon revealed.

A ten thousand meters tall gate could be seen at the bottom of the barrier. This gate was manifested from a formation, but it was majestic and imposing. Four words above the gate revealed the territory’s master—the Seven Realms Immortal Sect.
