Chapter 3763: Finally Solved
Chapter 3763: Finally Solved
The excitement, the desire to collide and resonate with the wisdom of someone from a different time and space, urged her to hurry up.
Faster.
Faster.
Qiao Nian’s eyes narrowed as she enjoyed the sense of urgency.
She used the pen to leave a series of complicated formulas on the draft paper from time to time, again and again.
On the left was the string of simple characters she had left behind from Ji Qing’s experiment, and the draft paper she had taken again.
The draft paper was filled with all kinds of formulas. She had already used several pieces of paper to solve it, but it was still not enough.
In comparison, Ji Qing’s seemingly simple string of characters was shrouded in a layer of mysterious light, enticing her to decipher it.
Finally.
As the night was replaced by the morning sun and the orange-red clouds dyed half the sky, the girl who had been working on deciphering Morse code slid the last stroke on the draft paper.
The force of that stroke tainted the back of the paper and forcefully cut a long hole in it as if it were revealing the truth.
Qiao Nian looked at the truth and leaned back in her chair for a long time.
She watched the results in silence.
She finally understood why Ji Qing died.
**
Downstairs.
Qin Si yawned as he walked over and looked at Gu San bringing breakfast from the kitchen and greeted the man in the living room.
“Good morning, Master Wang.”
No one paid attention to him.
He looked around and did not see Qiao Nian. Qin Si immediately sobered up. He touched the back of his neck and smiled bitterly. “Sister Qiao isn’t down yet, is she?”
“How long has it been?” Qin Si sat down in depression. “She didn’t even come down for dinner yesterday. Could she have stayed up all night?”
Gu San placed the porridge on the table with a worried expression. He wiped his hands on the apron and carefully asked the man on the sofa, “Master Wang, why don’t I go up and call Miss Qiao for breakfast?”
Ye Wangchuan returned in the middle and woke up early in the morning. He had slept for at most three hours. Hearing this, he only lowered his eyelids and said lightly, “Don’t disturb her.”
“Tsk!” Qin Si gave him a thumbs up. He looked like he was watching a show and didn’t mind blowing things up. “Master Wang, your thoughtfulness is almost comparable to your wife.”
“If you can’t learn to shut up, I can send you back.” Ye Wangchuan was lazy and casual, but his words were not very gentle.
Qin Si quickly touched the back of his neck and shut up.
Alright, he couldn’t afford to offend him, but he could hide.
Qin Si stood up. “I stayed up all night and haven’t slept enough. You guys eat. I’ll catch up on sleep and eat later.”
Just as he finished speaking, his sharp eyes noticed someone coming down from the second floor.
Qin Si’s tone changed. “Sister Qiao?”
“Ah, good morning,” Qiao Nian replied. There was not much emotion on her excessively beautiful face. She did not look the least bit energetic, more like she had not rested well and did not like to talk to others.
Qin Si forgot about sleep.
He watched as the girl walked down step by step, greeted Gu San, and asked about breakfast. Then, she nodded at Ye Wangchuan.
Next, Qiao Nian walked to the dining table and sat down. She grabbed a piece of bread and bit into it. She poured herself a glass of water and began to eat.
Her natural actions stunned everyone. They couldn’t figure out if she was done working or not.
Anyway, they could tell that Qiao Nian was in a bad mood.
