Before she could get close, two towering figures suddenly appeared from nowhere and held her down on the floor with lightning speed!
"What are you doing!"
"Let go of me!"
"This is a hotel! What do you intend to do!"
"Help!"
She was pinned tightly to the ground, her cheek pressed against the hotel’s Marble tiles. After a moment of shock, she turned pale and started screaming in panic.
Her cries attracted a crowd of onlookers, and the hotel Security Guards quickly arrived on the scene, momentarily stunned by the situation.
What is going on?
Did this woman commit a crime?
"Someone, help me!"
"Let go of me!"
Her desperate and terrified screams weren’t good for the hotel’s reputation. Although the security was somewhat clueless, they mustered the courage to step forward and inquire, "Excuse me, has this lady done something wrong?"
The woman pinned to the ground was so angry she nearly spat blood. She urgently explained, "I don’t know them, I’m not a fugitive, I have no idea where they came from, they just suddenly forced me to the ground. Please, help me! Is this how your Seven-Star Hotel handles security?"
She spoke fast and urgently, her face flushed red, not at all like someone telling a lie.
The Security Guards exchanged confused looks, each taking out their batons, and sternly shouted at the two towering figures, "Please release our guest immediately, or we won’t be polite!"
The two towering figures didn’t even acknowledge them, clearly disregarding them, as they held the struggling woman firmly, refusing to let go.
The woman felt the discomfort pressing her cheek against the Marble, but more than discomfort, the setting of the hotel lobby highlighted her humiliation.
She was both terrified and embarrassed, threatening, "Let go of me, I’m calling the police!"
"Please release our guest, I’m telling you again!" The Security Guard echoed her threat, with one even pulling out a phone and stepping aside as if about to call in a report.
Under such circumstances, you would think they would release her.
But they didn’t.
They were brazen enough not to fear the Police, declaring they wouldn’t release her!
The standoff persisted until Scott Harris finished his check-in procedure and the hotel management intervened.
"What’s going on?"
As soon as Scott Harris arrived, the two arrogant figures finally spoke, respectfully stating, "This woman attempted to attack the Young Madam earlier. We just restrained her. Lord instructed us to detain anyone unfamiliar who approaches the Young Madam within half a meter without clear reasons. We’re simply following His order."
Enna Clark was astonished to realize these two were on her side.
She had no idea these two people existed.
Scott Harris glanced at the person pinned to the ground, furrowing his brow, "It seems to be a misunderstanding, release her."
"Yes."
The two simultaneously let go, releasing the person.
The heavily made-up woman, now with disheveled hair and a face full of fear, looked utterly pathetic. Ignoring her appearance, she scrambled to her feet and stood beside the hotel Security Guard. It seemingly gave her a sense of security. Little did she know, the two Bodyguards Baron Lawrence arranged for Enna Clark could easily handle the five guards beside her without breaking a sweat!
