Chapter 2379: Chapter 2388: Miranda Lewis Has the Nerve to Send Provocative Texts
The next morning, Baron Lawrence went to the company early.
Enna Clark didn’t wake up until eight thirty.
Coming out of the bedroom, she saw Bobby already dressed, backpack on and ready to go to school. Bobby greeted her coolly, "Morning, woman."
"Morning."
"Young Master, let’s go." Joanne Harrison said softly from the side.
Bobby changed his shoes, picked up the phone he placed aside, and was ready to leave. When he reached the entrance hall, he stopped and turned back to Enna Clark, "I saw last night."
"What?"
Enna Clark looked at him, puzzled.
Bobby glanced at her and said calmly, "I saw you and the dubious man on the couch..."
He didn’t finish, and Enna Clark’s ears started burning with embarrassment.
"Woman, you should be mindful of the impact. I’m not bothered, but when the little fool returns from Country T, you better be careful."
He spoke like a little adult, very mature.
"But I understand, you are newlyweds."
He understands!
He’s only ten, what’s there to understand!
Bobby finished speaking, predicting that Enna Clark must be wishing she could find a hole to hide in. He opened the door and said to the stunned Joanne Harrison, "Sister Joanne, let’s go."
"Oh, oh, okay." Joanne Harrison quickly snapped out of her daze and followed Bobby out.
After they left, Scott Harris came out with breakfast.
He placed the soy milk and fried dough sticks on the dining table, smiling as he pulled out a chair for Enna Clark, saying, "Young Madam, don’t mind the Young Master’s words. He slept well last night, he can’t have seen anything."
Enna Clark, "..."
How come she felt like Bobby had seen something?
Enna Clark didn’t dwell too much on it. Now that she was legally married to Baron Lawrence, aside from a bit of embarrassment, there wasn’t much. She found a seat and started eating breakfast.
After she finished breakfast and got dressed, she was about to head to Lawrence Headquarters.
Ping! A message popped up on her phone.
Enna Clark looked at her phone and saw Miranda Lewis’s phone number. The message was simple, asking her to meet at a hotel, as there were things to discuss.
Enna Clark glanced over the message, about to delete it.
Miranda Lewis sent another provocative message, asking if she shouldn’t come.
Enna Clark immediately changed her mind, put away her phone, and said to Scott Harris, "I’m going out for a bit."
Scott Harris promptly said, "Young Madam, let me drive you."
Enna Clark thought for a moment and nodded, "Alright, wait for me, I’ll change my clothes."
"Okay, Young Madam." Scott Harris breathed a sigh of relief.
As long as the Young Madam agreed to let him accompany her, that’s good. He had offended Lord yesterday. This morning, Lord gave him direct orders to protect the Young Madam and preferably not to leave her side.
But it’s easier said than done.
He’s also worried the Young Madam might resist.
After all, no one likes to be followed around, it leaves no room for personal space.
Enna Clark changed clothes quickly and returned shortly.
Her everyday attire is usually casual, with clothes that focus on comfort. Today was no different; she casually picked a shirt and jeans, paired with some limited edition canvas shoes, and tied her hair into a ponytail. She looked just like a college student.
Very natural, which caught Scott Harris’s attention.
"Let’s go, Mr. Harris."
