Chapter 1752: Chapter 1742: I’m Looking At What a Heartbroken Woman Looks Like
Enna Clark had no idea that her every move was being monitored and live-streamed on Baron Lawrence’s phone through a surveillance camera.
Because she didn’t know that this yacht originally belonged to Baron Lawrence, and Hayes had just borrowed it for a while.
She spent the whole day playing wildly with Bobby and Gigi, and after returning in the evening, she told them stories to coax the two little ones to sleep.
Fortunately, Bobby and Gigi were exhausted from playing in the afternoon, so she didn’t have to coax much before the two little ones fell asleep.
Once she was sure the two little ones were asleep, she quietly left the room and gently closed the door behind her.
The living room was brightly lit, and when a servant saw her come out, they quietly asked, "Ms. Clark, have the young master and young miss fallen asleep?"
"Mm, they’re asleep." She took out a notebook and said to the servant, "Could you make me a cup of coffee, please? Thank you."
"Okay, Ms. Clark, please wait a moment."
Shortly after, the maid brought her a cup of coffee.
Enna Clark opened her laptop, logged into Rhine’s account, and clicked on the inbox.
The inbox was already filled with over a dozen contract files. She picked up the coffee beside her and got busy.
She hadn’t managed Rhine’s affairs for the past few days, so it was about time to catch up.
A busy night ensued.
The next day, Enna Clark took the two little ones on a whole day’s tour of the island, visiting all the famous sights in Pacifica. In the evening, she even chose a well-known local restaurant where they relished their meal.
On the third day, she took them to the Water Park, where they tried out the pirate ship, roller coasters, and more. They also played on the merry-go-round that Gigi loved.
After accompanying the two little ones for two or three days, Enna Clark was nearly exhausted by the time she returned in the evening.
Hayes carried the sleepy Gigi back to the room.
Enna Clark sat on the sofa and had just taken a sip of water when she noticed the little one pacing towards her, surprised, she asked, "Bobby, why aren’t you going to sleep?"
"I want to sleep with you tonight!"
"Uh..."
Bobby was particularly insistent on this matter, clenching his small fists and saying again, "Enna Clark, I want to sleep with you tonight!"
Enna Clark had a headache, but there was no choice. She had to put down the water cup and silently gave up her plan to have a video meeting tonight. She stood up, picked him up, and walked towards the bedroom, "Alright, let’s go."
Bobby felt a bit embarrassed being carried like this, but thinking of his goal, he surprisingly held back from complaining.
After taking a bath and lying on the bed, Enna Clark was just about to take out a storybook to read to him when the little boy wearing a lion pajama rolled over, propped his chin up, and frowned as he observed her.𝚏𝕣𝐞𝗲𝐰𝕖𝐛𝐧𝕠𝕧𝚎𝚕.𝐜𝚘𝗺
"Wh... what’s wrong? Is there something on my face?" Enna Clark was puzzled by his stare and reached up to touch her face.
Then she looked down at her hand.
There was nothing on it.
Bobby said nothing, using the distinct sharp-eyed gaze of the Lawrence family to look at her, as if trying to make her into a flower.
Enna Clark felt creeped out by his gaze, touched her face a couple more times, and couldn’t help but ask, "Baby, what are you looking at?"
"I’m looking at what a woman in love looks like." He said, resting his chin on his hands, with a fluffy cartoon lion head pajama hood on his head. It diminished the maturity he usually displayed, making his pretty little crystal face appear still youthful, but he spoke seriously.
Enna Clark almost choked on her saliva, "You... what did you say?"
