Chapter 5332: Resonance II
Chapter 5332: Resonance II
And then the surrounding existence opened itself.
It opened like jaws, invisible but unmistakable in effect, the light of THE Prime Cause of Harvest blooming across the regions of Chernobyl as the Observable Existence itself swallowed Noah’s enemies. Gilded Ones who had been injured by the invisible force found the domain closing around them, the substrate becoming a mouth, the Harvest Cause converting portions of what they were into fuel that flowed back through Chernobyl and into Noah, the Observable Existence feeding on the invaders on behalf of the being it now answered to!
WUU!
The invisible force completed its arc and smashed into Luxanna.
The silver dragon, third rarity, Titan Intent, was not bypassed the way the lesser Gilded Ones had been. Her Akashic Civilizational Intent was rare enough to resist.
But resisting was not the same as being unaffected. The blow pushed her back a full step in the air, her silver Acedia Intent raging around her to absorb the force, her cruel features tightening as she felt the full weight of an Observable Existence press against her and only barely held her ground.
Across the battlefield, Sir William and the three other Source Lifeforms and the twelve Relictus felt the opposite.
The domain lent them its immensity. Their existences blazed with sudden empowerment, the Observable Existence of Chernobyl elevating those Noah favored, and the Swords of Existence felt their Intents strengthen and their Armaments grow heavier with borrowed authority while the Relictus burned brighter with the domain’s backing!
Sir William, still positioned near Luxanna, registered the empowerment raging around his existence with a sharp recalculation.
Noah looked at Luxanna, cold and grand, the drums of his heart still booming across the domain that was now an extension of his existence.
"A Lifeform has been saying something lately," he said. "Manners maketh man."
He let the Aura blaze around him, let the immensity of Chernobyl press through every word. "I don’t have any manners. So this is going to be brutal." His gaze fixed on the silver dragon. "Are you ready?"
...!
Luxanna began to laugh.
It started low and built into something mad, her malevolent eyes alight, her cruel smile stretching wide despite the step she had been forced back, despite the domain pressing against her, despite the nine Ragnars gone in nine seconds and the invisible wrath of an Observable Existence that had turned against her.
"Challenge invites challenge, big guy!" she called, delighted and unhinged. "The more challenging you are, the more power you express, the more I will call upon more forces! I will run this entire place into the ground with Gilded Ones! I will summon every reserve, every Legion, every weapon, I will bury you and your little girl under so many of us that even your pretty domain cannot eat us all, I will-"
BOOM!
She did not finish.
Noah erupted.
THE Aura of THE Source Barbarian blazed to its full expression, and with it came the immensity of THE Domain of the Genesis Monarch, his own power and the power of an entire Observable Existence merging into a single strike, the drums of his heart booming one final thunderous beat as he moved against Luxanna with everything he was and everything Chernobyl was, the obsidian gold and the blue Blessing-light and the nine Prime Causes and the full weight of a domain that fought on his behalf, all of it driving toward the silver dragon and the rare Intent that was the only thing standing between his strike and her existence!
HUUUM!
He sought to get past her Intent.
He intended to find out, today, going all out, exactly what he could break!
BOOOM!
Noah’s strike landed on Luxanna, and the entire Observable Existence felt it!
The combined force of THE Aura of THE Source Barbarian and the immensity of Chernobyl behind it caught the silver dragon and smashed her backward, and backward here was not a few meters.
She was driven from one end of the Observable Existence toward the other, her enormous frame tearing across the reborn sky, her silver Acedia Intent raging around her to absorb what it could and absorbing only some of it!
The blow carried her across a distance that no conventional strike could have carried a Fourth Scale Gilded One like het, because it was not a conventional strike. It was a domain striking on behalf of its master!
From Noah’s Aura and the Prime Causes of Chernobyl, a massive chain erupted.
It shot after Luxanna as she tumbled across the domain, multicolored and obsidian gold, vast enough to dwarf the silver cloud she rode, and it tried to pierce into her. But her Intent was grand!
The third-rarity Titan Intent of artificial Acedia covered her existence in a silver record that even Noah’s chain could not simply punch through, but it did, and the chain’s tip barely managed to anchor itself into her scales, hooking into the silver plating rather than driving through it.
Barely was enough.
"Get over here!" Noah roared.
BOOM!
The chain hauled taut and Luxanna was pulled forward like a sack of potatoes, dragged back across the distance she had been smashed across, and she laughed the entire way, mad and delighted, her Intent erupting as she came!
All her knowledge, all her records, the full sum of the engineered existence that mimicked The Great Sloevin, unfurled around her like an endless silver sea, vast and dulling and pressing against everything it touched.
At that moment, Sir William and the three other Source Lifeforms appeared.
They arrived around Luxanna from four points, and each of them spoke the same word.
"Destruere."
The letter of THE Primordial Tongue gave their Intents a terrifying edge. Sir William’s Titan Intent of dignity, the sniper’s Nereid Intent, the hammer-bearer’s, the flail-wielder’s, all four sharpened by the Primordial Source letter into something that the silver sea of Luxanna’s record could not simply dull.
Four attacks released simultaneously, four Intents backed by Destruere, converging on the silver dragon from every direction. Chernobyl constricted around her as Noah’s aura penetrated deeper and cut!
The impact obscured everything in obsidian and silver light!
WAA!
When the dust settled, Luxanna’s Intent had finally been torn!
She breathed heavily, huge gashes opened across her body, silver blood leaking from wounds that her Acedia record had not been able to prevent, her Intent now wrapped heavily around her entire existence in a desperate effort to hold herself together.
The endless silver sea had been carved into, the artificial Titan Intent shown its limit when four Source Lifeforms wielding the Primordial Tongue committed to ending it at once alongside a man nobody understood!
