Infinite Mana In The Apocalypse

Chapter 5297: Anomaly IV

Chapter 5297: Anomaly IV

The sea above released the Primordial Bloom.

It descended across THE Infiniverse’s full expanse in a wave that was invisible to ordinary sight but present to every perception capable of registering Primordial Source expression.

Countless microscopic Source-connected organisms spreading through the atmospheric layers and the substrate simultaneously, their byproduct beginning its accumulation immediately, the Primordial Cascade building from trace concentrations toward critical ones!

Noah watched it spread coldly.

He floated back to the space between THE Creature and Calypso, the three of them suspended in THE Early Veiled Shore’s sky as the Environmental Pressure spread below and above and through everything the domain contained!

"Adversity," Noah said. He looked at THE Creature and then at Calypso. "THE Primordial Tongue...let it meet my Infinity."

His eyes blazed,The obsidian lightning of THE Sovereign Reckoning still present in the arm that held it. "Let it meet my Osmontian Absolute Infinity. We shall see."

He felt the thrill moving through his existence like a current.

He wanted to see. His Infinite Scales wanted to see!

Everything about what he had become wanted to know what maximum pressure from THE Primordial Tongue produced when it ran against his Infinite Tongue and his Osmontian Absolute Infinity and nine Prime Causes!

"WE SHALL SEE!"

BOOM!

Down below, on the golden sands of THE Early Veiled Shore, Taylor stood with the expression of a being whose existence had taken several consecutive turns she had not accounted for.

She looked at the Primordial Bloom descending through the atmospheric layers. She looked at the obsidian sea churning above.

She looked at the titanic forms of THE Creature and Calypso flanking Noah in the sky.

She looked at all of it for a long moment.

Then she crouched down and began forming a small shovel from her ambient energy and started digging methodically into the golden sand.

"Might as well dig my grave," she said to nobody in particular.

"Because why the hell is all of this craziness happening to me right now? I am supposed to be the big scary Baba Yaga. I rule an Observable Existence. I am extremely important and very dangerous." She dug with focused efficiency.

"And yet here I am, about to be killed by microscopic Source organisms and a temperature event while three monsters have an evolutionary competition above me." She paused her digging to gesture at the sky.

"This is insane, man. Fucking completely insane!"

She resumed digging her grave!

---

<THE Infiniverse>

She felt them arrive before she saw them.

The microorganisms descended through her atmospheric layers with the indifference of life that had never needed permission and didn’t require it now.

The Primordial Bloom was spreading across her full expanse in a wave that carried no urgency because it had the whole of her domain to fill and all the time available to fill it!

They were small. Individually, each one was nothing. Collectively, the Primordial Cascade byproduct they produced was already accumulating in trace concentrations that her substrate registered as the opening signal of something much larger.

She ran the analysis.

If she did nothing, the Cascade would reach critical concentration across her full expanse within a timeframe she found unacceptable. Critical concentration meant everything within her that couldn’t survive Fourth Scale equivalent toxicity would not survive.

Her Primordial Realms. Her Three Thousand Realms. Her Infinite Herbs blazing with nine Prime Cause resonance across the farmlands of THE Early Veiled Shore.

This was what a mass extinction event looked like from the inside of the existence it was happening to.

She looked at her Master floating above THE Early Veiled Shore.

He held THE Sovereign Reckoning with cold imperious certainty, THE Creature and Calypso flanking him in the churning sky.

She had a thought about him.

He really did not allow them to rest. Not once. Not even on the day she finished becoming what she’d spent every moment of her existence building toward!

He had looked at the completion and immediately found the opening for the next thing, and the next thing was this.

She held the thought with genuine warmth.

Then she held it with genuine amusement.

Because she also loved this. She was built from adversity. THE Prime Cause of Adversity was one of her nine governing truths, and the Prime Cause had never been wrong about what adversity produced.

Rest was a destination that kept moving. Adversity arrived faster than the prior adversity had been processed. This was what existing alongside her Master meant.

She activated her capabilities.

Massive multicolored pillars of Osmontian Absolute Infinity erupted from her weavings at distributed points across all nine Prime Cause regions simultaneously, each pillar rising from her foundational layer and pressing upward through her atmospheric layers toward the descending Bloom.

They established presence rather than mounted attack, the expressed identity of Osmontian Absolute Infinity occupying the coordinates between the Cascade byproduct and the domain it was threatening. The toxicity couldn’t bind to the Osmontian expression. Binding required static substrate. She was never static!

THE Prime Cause of Adversity activated thereafter.

Its foundational truth moved outward through every region simultaneously, the governing principle that challenge drove growth pressing back against the Environmental Pressure not by opposing it but by beginning to incorporate it.

Her domain started adapting at the cellular level. Slowly. The process was in its earliest stages. But it had begun!

THE Prime Cause of Harvest followed.

She directed it through her seas of Observable and Unobservable Force, the twin currents redirected as active conversion mechanisms, the Harvest Cause turning the Cascade toxicity from threat to resource at every coordinate where the Osmontian Absolute Infinity pillars had established presence.

The conversion was slow against the Bloom’s full scale. Nowhere near sufficient. But a beginning maintained with enough determination became everything. She had learned this from watching him build her.

THE Prime Cause of Existence pressed outward through every region at once.

The foundational truth that things existed and their existence carried legitimacy that nothing could revoke moved through her domain and wrapped around the beings within her that couldn’t protect themselves, asserting on their behalf the simple irreducible fact of their continued presence.

Above the Primordial Bloom, the thermal surge was building.

She felt it accumulating in her upper atmospheric layers, pressing downward with the intensity of adversity calibrated to threaten Fourth Scale existences.

Her seas of Observable Force redirected their currents toward the upper layers, the golden warmth pressing back against the thermal buildup with the full weight of an Observable Existence deploying sovereignty within her own domain.

Behind the thermal surge, the ice age waited.

She saw it there, cold and certain at the back of the sequence, the final phase of an Environmental Pressure designed to demand adaptation from everything it touched.

She saw all three phases. She held them all in her awareness simultaneously. She began preparing responses for each.

This was what she was!

She looked at what was coming across every coordinate of her full expanse, at the Bloom and the thermal surge and the ice age waiting behind it, at the countless beings within her depending on her to hold, at her Master.

Her smile stretched wide.

The brutal impossibly wide smile she had inherited from the being who raised her.

"COME!"

She bellowed out Quintessentially!
