Infinite Mana In The Apocalypse

Chapter 5015: Magisterial! I

Chapter 5015: Magisterial! I

Noah’s eyes were unfathomably bright.

The situation around him became clearer with each word Naldine spoke. There were monstrous beings like her, like THE Primordial Armor, and others who followed their own beliefs to push into existence terrifying probabilities.

Factions operating at scales he had not previously considered, steering toward outcomes that served their purposes regardless of what those outcomes meant for everyone else.

Naldine was saying to get a move on due to this, but even before she arrived, he already was.

The moment his finite existence was declared and he became clearer on his capabilities, he had begun moving to clear the board of his enemies.

THE Entity was being bombarded with Infinity while THE Great Usurper silently attacked from within, Eckert’s Idle Weavings spreading through that warm unity without detection.

And he had taken the step to attain Absolute for all his foundations, paired with Uncountable Infinity, preparing himself to make the decisive move he already knew he needed to make.

He checked his existence as his transformation was almost complete.

So as this occurred, he looked at Naldine sharply.

"So, you need me for the probabilities you want to achieve. I...do not particularly need you."

His voice carried weight pressing against her Second Scale presence.

"You are here to keep an eye on me? Ensure THE Gamaidjan does not overtake me? Does this mean the great Primordial Architect, Naldine Manthon, will be following me?"

...!

The Primordial Architect before him gazed forth with chilly light, her singularity-dotted eyes narrowing at the implication of his words.

"My path is a glorious one that does not involve becoming a follower."

Her voice emerged cold and precise.

"You have your Echoes, I have mine. I look at you akin to a young lifeform with an extremely sharp blade that influences you without your knowing. The things you could cut with this blade are many, and among them are my own weavings."

She paused.

"Thus, if I step in early enough before you cut things you should not, what I want will also be achieved in time. The question becomes whether you will oppose me and make it difficult."

Her white eyes blazed with authority.

"What I need to do is observe and shield you from being used by others as powerful if not more powerful than me, beings who would use you to achieve their objectives of Splintering Observable Existence or other worse thingd. Of returning things to a state that would not be ideal."

...!

Noah smiled brilliantly as he looked at this Primordial Architect.

She wanted to join him, but her pride was too high to frame it as becoming a follower. She had to present it as observation, as shielding, as ensuring he did not cut things he should not cut. The semantics amused him.

But unlike what she believed about THE Encroaching Imperiosus being drenched within him, he was not prideful at all about allowing a Second Scale Primordial Architect to be beside one of his bodies. He could use her as a shield to make things even easier for himself.

Why not?

But of course, he could always try to get more benefits.

He looked at her as he waved his hands, revealing three lotus petals shimmering with blue-gold light. THE Bounded Lotus of Sequential Eternity, one of his Sacred Herbs capable of granting access to Countable Infinity.

"If you take one of these lotus petals, you can have more Infinity flowing through you."

He said the words enticingly, offering power that beings across Observable Existence would have killed to possess.

Naldine did not even look at the lotuses a second time.

She moved away, her eyes wandering to all the books and Grimoires nearby as she began examining the contents of THE Primordial Archive with interest.

"My weavings of Infinity are mine to explore. I will not accept anything from another."

Her voice carried finality that brooked no negotiation.

"You can try your luck with those two fools behind me if you wish."

...!

Noah looked over to the Undivided One and Formless Terror whose eyes were shining brilliantly. Their enthusiasm was barely contained. Where Naldine’s pride prevented her from accepting, these two had no such reservations.

They came forward eagerly as Naldine asked calmly while she began flipping through a Grimoire.

"The weavings of Unity that are permeating throughout. Are such minor things stumping you to need help?"

Her voice carried dismissiveness!

"They are significant enough since they are mentioned in Echoes, but they should not be a major ordeal unless you make it out to be. And the Echoes never have to play out. Remember, they are only the likeliest probabilities, nothing more."

She said such words casually as Noah handed out two lotus petals to float toward the powerful entities before him. The deep voice of the Undivided One emerged with gratitude as he introduced himself properly.

"I am Arthur. The Great Arthur. And I have waited eons to touch true Infinity."

The Formless Terror’s crimson tentacles churned with excitement as he spoke next.

"Gunther. And I share my companion’s sentiment entirely."

Noah nodded toward them before he turned back to Naldine.

"As soon as one last piece clicks into place in the next few seconds, I will be attacking that Unity here and... across time."

His eyes shone with purpose.

"For the sake of just further proving you wrong, I will not act all imperious and grand. I am curious what exactly you can contribute, so even though I do not think I need your help, you can exert your hand. I will let you know when ready."

...!

Naldine listened to this calmly before she closed the Grimoire and looked outside THE Archive.

During their talk, all of THE Agora had been taken apart piece by piece by THE Infiniverse’s relentless consumption. This place, THE Primordial Archive, was the only thing that remained. Everything else had been devoured and integrated into Noah’s forces, resources accumulated while words were exchanged.

The expression on Naldine was a unique one at this moment.

Her cold exterior remained, but barely discernible beneath her terrifying power, there was a sense of relief. She had taken a step toward something that had been weighing her down for a long, long time.

Eons of hearing Echoes and wondering what they meant, eons of searching for the one who would be the answer or the nothing, eons of preparing for a confrontation that might determine whether Observable Existence rose to heights or Splintered beneath an endless sky.

She took in a single breath before she turned back to Noah.

"Anything infected with Unity must be extinguished. You cannot save any."

"So even the Claimer of Chaos, THE Primordial Chaos, needs to die."

BOOM!

Her words were heavy as Noah sensed the changes occurring within Arthur and Gunther, their foundations shifting as Bounded Countable Infinity began integrating with their existences. He responded seriously to her declaration.

"Maybe. Maybe not."

Naldine’s eyes sharpened at his response.

"I collapsed the one you call Paradoxos who was unified with Unity. I peered into its existence and memories before the ash dispersed entirely."

Her voice dropped to something approaching genuine warning.

"What you call THE Entity, THE Primordial Mycelia, should have its origins tracing back to one of the Primordial Architects you need to be cautious of. Its weavings irreversibly bind to the host. Unless their existence is collapsed entirely, there will be a resurgence. The Unity will return. The infection will spread again. This is not speculation. This is what I observed in the memories of something that had been fully consumed."

...!

She revealed heavy news as Noah frowned at the implications.

THE Entity’s weavings were irreversible. THE Primordial Chaos, who had been infected, would need to die for the infection to truly end. There was no cure. There was no reversal. There was only collapse or continued spread.

But...Noah repeated himself while waiting for the final pieces to click into place within his transforming existence.

"Maybe. Maybe not."

BOOM!

He was thinking of THE Great Usurper and other things that even this Primordial Architect did not know!
