Infinite Mana In The Apocalypse

Chapter 4956: Truly Live! V

Chapter 4956: Truly Live! V

BOOM!

The cheek of her Absolute Effigy distorted from the backhand slap, the pink flames that comprised her manifestation compressing and warping under force that exceeded anything she had prepared to receive.

The shape of her face bent inward where Noah’s golden hand made contact, her features twisting with impact!

And because her Absolute Effigy was connected to her physical body, her actual cheek deformed as well.

Her flesh compressed. Her bones cracked. Her existence registered damage that couldn’t be hidden behind manifestation.

Then she flew.

Her body flung backward like a spinning ragdoll, rotating end over end as the force of Noah’s backhand launched her away from where she had been standing. She spun through the air of Alfheimr with speed that exceeded what her Absolute classification should have permitted, her pink Effigy flickering and wavering as it struggled to maintain coherence.

The force of her being thrown was so much that she flew upward rather than backward.

She ascended toward the peak of the mountain, toward the temple where THE Creature used to reside, her spinning form leaving trails of pink light in her wake. And then she smashed into that ancient structure with impact that made the entire mountain tremble!

BOOM!

Stone shattered. Walls collapsed. The temple that had housed one of the most powerful beings in Observable Existence crumbled around the form of THE Living Emotive as she crashed through it without slowing.

When the dust settled, she lay in the ruins with expression that had lost all its previous confidence.

Her state was shocked and haggard.

Her pink Effigy flickered weakly around her battered form, the manic energy that had defined it now stuttering and uncertain. Her physical body was worse. Her cheek was swollen and purple where Noah’s slap had connected. Her lip was split. Blood ran from her mouth in streams that spoke of damage exceeding surface injury.

She opened her mouth to speak, perhaps to protest, perhaps to plead, perhaps to attempt manipulation one more time.

And all her teeth fell out.

They tumbled from her bleeding gums like offerings being rejected, like prayers being denied, like the symbols of her confidence being stripped away one by one. Her mouth was bloody and empty, her jaw aching with pain that her Absolute regeneration would eventually heal but that currently defined her existence.

She could barely rise up.

But she managed to turn her bloodshot eyes toward Noah, toward the massive golden Effigy that still loomed in the skies of Alfheimr with expression of absolute coldness. She was about to say something, about to attempt words through her ruined mouth, about to try one more manipulation despite everything that had just occurred.

Then she saw his extremely cold and domineering gaze.

She saw the complete lack of mercy in those golden eyes.

She saw what would happen if she pushed further.

She bit her lips with her bleeding gummy jaws, the pain of that action adding to the pain she already felt. And she said nothing.

Noah looked at her coldly.

This was him going easy on her.

The other option would have been to collapse her existence completely. To unmake everything she was with Geodesic Negations that would have found every aspect of her being and denied it. To crystallize her with Infinite definition until nothing remained but a statue of what she had been. To harvest her entirely and add her accumulated authority to his own foundations.

THE Creature had asked him to go easy on her.

So he had.

He did make sure to record this entire scene, to weave this display of existence so that it could be shown to others. Malphas, that old butler who had once been a servant of this woman, might want to see her humiliated. If that loyal existence told Noah that he still wanted to see her brought lower, or to be the one doing the humiliation himself, then Noah would simply come back and arrange it.

But for now, as a favor to THE Creature who already had a Bond with this wretched thing, he let her off easy!

His actions were heavy enough that even the Undivided One she had bonded with on the mountain didn’t dare to raise its eyes to look toward Noah. The great winged lion with its serpent mane pressed itself flat against the ground, its massive form trying to appear as small as possible, its entire demeanor screaming...

Bro, I’m not even here!

I’m just a small lion!

"..."

Noah’s eyes remained grand and imperious as he reflected on his conversation with THE Creature. The words about living, about being alive rather than merely existing, echoed through his consciousness with weight that exceeded their simple syllables. He would consider them. He would apply them. He would ensure that his path included experience as well as progression.

But first, he had work to do.

He turned his gaze from the ruined temple toward a distant area in the same Primordial Realm. There, THE Primordial Chaos resided with his isolated territory, his cautious nature having kept him separated from the events that were unfolding across Observable Existence. There was where Noah’s illusory manifestation had been conversing with him. There was where he needed to have another conversation.

About THE Primordial Mycelia.

About the possibility that Chaos himself might be compromised without knowing it.

About the warning that THE Mnemonic Leviathan had given regarding the Keys of Civilization.

But first, he had to make sure that his new Immensities of Infinities were spread out across as much of his existence as possible. Every capability needed to be elevated. Every weaving needed to be transformed. Every aspect of what he was needed to incorporate the Geodesic architecture that his Countable Infinity had unlocked!

For this, he closed his eyes and focused on his mental mindscape.

In its endless seas of blue and gold, RUINATION was already there. Her form burned with blue-gold light that matched his own, her hair extending into infinite data points, her eyes swirling with analysis that had been preparing for this moment since his epiphany had transformed his path.

She was ready to seamlessly define the changes he was implementing.

And so, the work continued!
