Infinite Mana In The Apocalypse

Chapter 4845: THE Primordial Paradox III

Chapter 4845: THE Primordial Paradox III

As this process began, THE Primordial Paradox waved his hands with casual authority.

Two obsidian thrones rose from the deck of the ship, positioned opposite each other at the center of the vessel. They grew from the Helheim-forged wood like natural extensions of the ship itself, their surfaces carved with symbols of ancient Paradox.

An extended crystalline obsidian table bloomed in front of them.

The table buzzed with an ancient type of Paradox that made Noah’s foundations resonate. Its surface became filled with obsidian-gold sacred herbs and crystals, treasures that radiated authority and weight that spoke of tremendous value.

THE Primordial Paradox motioned for Noah to sit on the opposing throne as he settled onto his own with the ease of someone who had done this countless times before. He waved his hands and began to eat from the wonders on the table, consuming items that would have been priceless treasures in Noah’s era as if they were casual refreshments.

Noah glanced down at the spread before him.

His eyes found the throne opposite THE Primordial Paradox, and he moved to take his seat. When he reached out to grab an obsidian-gold gem shaped like a cube, information immediately flooded his consciousness through The First Tongue.

Item Analysis

Designation: Gjöll Pressure Crystal

A paradoxical crystal found at the bottom of the river Gjöll

Has been battered by the river’s crushing pressure for approximately one billion years

The sustained force has compressed trace amounts of Absolute authority into its structure

A single crystal contains slight Weavings of Absolute within it

Consumption recommendation: Immediate

These don’t exist in your era. The river Gjöll was altered during THE Infinite Unfurling’s later stages

...!

Noah’s eyes flashed brilliantly at this.

Without a second thought, he chucked the crystal toward his mouth and began to chew.

The sensation was extraordinary. Cold that burned. Pressure that expanded. Authority that seeped into his foundations like water into parched earth. The crystal dissolved against his teeth, its billion years of accumulated weight releasing into his existence with each bite.

Foundation Enhancement Detected

The Immensity and weight of your Foundation at the comparative Fundamental Depth has increased by 0.1%

...!

It seemed that there were many wonders and opportunities here.

Noah focused on the items laid out on this brilliant table and began to consume them one after another. Obsidian fruits that tasted like concentrated endings. Golden herbs that burned with paradoxical warmth. Crystalline waters that flowed upward when swallowed.

Each one added to his foundations in ways that would have taken time to achieve.

THE Primordial Paradox watched him with a smile. He had in his hand an obsidian glass filled with vibrant golden liquid that he was drinking calmly.

"How are things later on in the future?"

His voice was casual, conversational.

"Does Erwin get into more trouble?"

He asked such a question as if he was inquiring about someone who did not fully concern him. As if the disciple who was currently eating away at his Absolute authority was merely a distant acquaintance whose exploits were mildly interesting rather than existentially threatening.

Noah found another unique item to consume, a sphere of compressed frost that held the weight of countless endings within it. He looked at THE Primordial Paradox as he bit into it.

"If you know about him and what he is currently doing to you, and even now as you talk about him..."

He chewed thoughtfully.

"Why do you view him with such nonchalance? Even if you are unable to stop the process, why treat him how you are right now? As if you don’t know?"

THE Primordial Paradox smiled at his words.

It was the smile of someone who had made peace with circumstances that would have driven lesser beings to rage or despair.

"I respect his grind."

The words came with genuine appreciation.

"A peasant with grand ambitions. He simply does not know how immense and grand Existence truly is."

He took another sip of his golden liquid.

"If he possesses the ambition to do what he is doing to me at this very moment, he shall not stop there. He will always seek for more and more, and his actions will lead to things he cannot even imagine."

His obsidian eyes held ancient wisdom.

"More often than not, those with tremendously high ambition bring more trouble to themselves than they can possibly anticipate. It is paradoxical, and it is grand."

The obsidian crown above his head churned and spun with heaviness and Immensity that pressed against reality itself.

"And I know more about Paradox than anyone can imagine. I was born and entrenched in it."

As he spoke, the air of a terrifying Absolute radiated from him.

Noah compared this stifling sensation to the Hollow Echo he had met in The Interstices. That fragment of THE Creature’s lost definition, which had nearly shattered his Seals and forced him to expend an Absolute Everything just to survive...

It wasn’t even a hundredth comparable to the aura that he felt from THE Primordial Paradox before him.

Not even close.

It was just that ridiculously different between them.

The gap between an Echo and the real thing was vast beyond comprehension.

At this time...

THE Primordial Paradox lost his smile.

He frowned, his obsidian features shifting as his attention turned toward the sky above them. Noah also turned and sensed what had drawn the Absolute’s attention.

The auras of two radiant Absolutes in the far distance approaching fast!

"These would be one of the reasons why we did not have time."

...!

THE Primordial Paradox’s voice remained composed, but an edge had entered it.

"They have been camping and waiting to observe exactly what has kept me here this entire time. Whatever I am interested in, my enemies desire even more."

His enemies?

Noah’s eyes flashed brilliantly as he processed this information.

What else would be the enemies of THE Primordial Paradox? He was one of THE Four. He held a Claim on one of the oldest aspects of Existence itself

As if he could sense Noah’s unspoken question, THE Primordial Paradox lounged back on his throne. The auras of two incoming Absolutes didn’t seem to concern him in the slightest. He swirled the golden liquid in his glass with the casual air of someone discussing small talk rather than imminent conflict.

"There are boundless possibilities when Existence is first differentiating."

His voice held the weight of someone who had witnessed things that no longer occurred.

"What is impossible now was the daily occurrence back then. My enemies are those that failed to claim Paradox before THE Infinite Unfurling fully established itself."
