Chapter 4747: Simulation And Reality Collide! III
Chapter 4747: Simulation And Reality Collide! III
Noah’s eyes flashed sharply as he received this warning!
After all, what he was doing right now was considered a tremendously ridiculous thing.
Simulating a future reality.
Obtaining information he should have no access to.
Learning and interacting with an Absolute in such a simulation.
Their power of THE Absolute Depth was so overwhelming that even for things they did not know about... they could know about!
The very act of simulating them risked drawing their actual attention. Their real selves might sense echoes of being observed, being modeled, being used as pawns in someone else’s information gathering.
And he was getting another glimpse of this terrifying truth as he focused on following Eon while committing the regions of The Wastes of THE Fallout to memory.
Everything around them felt like a haze.
But Noah was seeing everything. Every distorted landmark. Every corrupted zone. Every twisted region of reality that had been reshaped by THE Fallout’s catastrophic energies.
Ahead of them, Eon seemed to be taking light steps.
Just casual, unhurried movements that looked almost lazy.
Yet she moved at speeds that Noah in Muspelheim in real Existence would never be able to follow!
As she moved, she turned her head back languidly to look at Skoll and his burning neon flames. The transformed Duke had his tongue out, flapping on the side as if he was having the time of his life chasing after her.
Such a good boy. Even when pursuing an Absolute across corrupted wastelands, he found joy in the simple act of running!
Eon’s eyes twisted into utterly deadly crescents of amusement.
"Man, I want to abandon my principles and rob you right now of that little dog, Scale Breaker."
BOOM!
Her voice carried notes of genuine temptation beneath the casual delivery.
"But ah, I’m one of the last good ones left. I’ll stick to my principles." She sighed with exaggerated regret. "When you want to trade that cute doggy, let me know. For now, let’s see how quickly it can really go."
She waved her hand toward Skoll as if playing a game.
"Little doggy, come on. Get!"
...!
Skoll’s response was immediate and enthusiastic.
He surged forward with excitement, his neon flames blazing brighter as he accepted what he perceived as an invitation to play!
And shockingly, Eon accelerated to match!
Noah’s entire existence buzzed with immensity as his Seals of Absolute Tongue flowed into his eyes. He barely continued to grasp the surrounding landscape as Skoll and Eon pushed faster and faster!
The Wastes blurred into meaningless smears.
Landmarks disappeared before they could be properly observed, but he still observed them.
Reality itself seemed to protest the speeds being achieved within its corrupted boundaries.
And this continued for only a little while before Eon seemed to take it as a genuine challenge.
She went even faster.
And shockingly... she began to surge forward and disappear from their perception entirely!
One moment she was there, a small figure in white-blue robes taking casual steps through corrupted reality.
The next moment, she was simply... gone.
Skoll howled out!
The sound was glorious and majestic, carrying across the Wastes with authority that made nearby corruption stabilize in response. Neon plasma flames raged around his transformed body, blazing with intensity that exceeded anything he’d displayed before. His limbs churned with speed and power that defied comprehension, each stride seeming to glide on The First Tongue itself rather than the corrupted ground beneath them.
And yet...
Eon only got further and further away.
They almost lost her entirely!
Noah’s expression became heavy.
"Slow down."
WAA!
Eon began to reappear before them soon after.
The Wastes around them constantly changed as she decelerated, regions shifting and reforming as their perception caught up to where she now waited. Her dark eyes twisted into a smile as she looked at Noah with the patience of someone who had just proven a very important point.
"His speed is good."
Her voice came measured and unhurried, each word placed with precision.
"Can be considered to touch a fraction of Absolute. But Absolute is far too grand, and far too varied."
She tilted her head slightly.
"In front of THE Creature or me... the speed of that very good boy can only be considered a cute... oh, he’s a little fast."
The dismissal in her tone was gentle but absolute.
"If your plan on saving your people from THE Weavers involves speeding away with them with little doggy here, I can tell you now that you will fail."
Her dark eyes held his without wavering.
"Even a weak Absolute like THE Weavers will catch you in time. That initial burst of surprise of that speed will give you a lead, but they will catch you soon enough. You will be caught, Scale Breaker."
She glanced at Skoll with something that might have been genuine concern.
"And this poor little doggy that you could give to me right now would also be caught by something as cruel as THE Weavers. What a shame that would be, Scale Breaker."
Her smile widened.
"Do you want to change your choice now?"
...!
WAA!
Her words were heavy.
But Noah remained calm.
"Once we near their position, just let me know which direction to go towards without THE Weavers finding out about your existence. I will take the rest from there."
...!
He wanted it to be as authentic as possible.
Eon would not be with them when this simulation ended. He would be alone with Skoll in actual Existence, facing THE Weavers without an Absolute backing him up.
The aura of Eon would affect how things played out in the simulation, and he had to minimize discrepancies between what happened here and what would happen in reality.
As for her words and warning that his plan may fail...
Noah now knew this very well after observing her ridiculous speed.
But still, he had other cards up his sleeve.
There were still many things he could do. Or really, two things that he was planning out in his mind at this moment.
Contingencies upon contingencies.
Plans within plans.
Because Tyranny did not accept failure as an option.
Eon laughed.
The sound was light and almost musical, carrying across the corrupted Wastes with ease that spoke of someone genuinely entertained.
"Don’t worry, Scale Breaker. I will take you exactly where you need to be."
Her smile held secrets that he couldn’t begin to fathom.
"If you don’t want me to be perceivable to THE Weavers, I don’t have to stay away to make that happen. I can make it so that you see and perceive me, while a weak Absolute like THE Weavers..."
She paused.
"I can make it so that they cannot even perceive I am here."
BOOM!
