Infinite Mana In The Apocalypse

Chapter 4557: When Fortune Falters! III

Chapter 4557: When Fortune Falters! III

The Unstable Genesis Domains were vast beyond measure, containing many regions filled with dangerous environments that held clusters of unstable Civilizational Authority.

Noah had been traversing across them carefully for some time now with methodical exploration.

He was a simple farmer in mindset as he searched for suitable chickens to place into his prison coop. And yet he could not find a single qualifying entity anywhere in this domain so far!

He was simply left acclimating to his terrifying new power level as he felt the radiant expression of his Way of Existence flowing through him constantly.

When it came to keeping his power active through THE True Expression of The Sovereignty of Mana and Hunger, the mathematics worked out favorably. He could currently produce a single Rudimentary Unit of Everything every three minutes of standard time.

So he was actually capable of maintaining this constant state of elevated power indefinitely. By the time the duration of one Rudimentary Unit finished its three-minute cycle, he would already have another unit produced at exactly the same moment.

The constant state of empowerment left him feeling extremely exuberant about his capabilities while he continued forging the Civilizational Primus Mana Glyphs of his Principles amongst other elevated aspects of his existence.

An additional elevation worth noting was the progress of attainment of a Principle past the level of Singularity soon. This achievement left him remembering Elyndra and thinking about his many missed dual cultivation sessions with various partners.

He was an imperfect man as dual cultivation with his partners was the one activity he never denied himself under normal circumstances. And the sheer audacity of THE Living Elemental to curse him with contagious flames that made him stop all these intimate activities was enough for him to consider that entity a worse enemy than even THE Living Paradox.

A sworn enemy in fact. Out of all entities that had to eventually be eliminated, THE Living Elemental was now at the very top of his list purely because those actions had taken something he considered precious away, however temporarily.

He had a light smile as he shook his head at this vindictive thought when suddenly...

"Be careful, Master!" Lumivara’s voice called out with urgency.

She pulsed with concentrated light to oppose an incoming blast of blue unstable Civilizational Authority of Lightning. They were currently moving across an unstable region which pulsed chaotically with lightning authority all around them.

Each strike was capable of decimating anything below the level of Pre-THE in a single direct hit.

The environment stretched for Gigaparsecs in all directions around them. Blue lightning coiled around floating shattered landmasses that had been crystallized from constant battering by electrical strikes over eons.

The landscape appeared frozen in time, with jagged crystal formations jutting at impossible angles. The air itself crackled with residual charge that created visible distortions in space.

Toward the incoming strike that Lumivara had warned about, her defensive light was not able to meaningfully oppose or deflect the chaotic lightning. The attack continued its trajectory directly toward Noah.

Noah looked up calmly and simply let the massive lightning strike smash directly into his body without attempting to dodge or defend.

His form absorbed the electrical devastation that would have decimated even entities possessing a few Decillions of Complexity and Purity. To him, it felt like mere sparks hitting his elevated existence, causing no actual damage.

Lumivara looked at this casual display with genuine amazement written across her features.

"Master, how can I become strong like you so quickly?" she asked with voice carrying sincere curiosity.

Noah replied calmly as they continued moving through the dangerous region without pause.

"You would have to possess a really strong foundation paired with a unique disposition of existence," he said with measured explanation.

Lumivara tilted her head with visible confusion.

"Disposition?" she asked. "What specific disposition do you mean?"

Noah considered how to explain this concept clearly.

"A disposition where even if someone authoritatively tells you that one plus one equals two, you question that assertion and consider that maybe it actually equals infinity," he said with philosophical weight.

Lumivara blinked with even more confusion as she processed this statement.

"But Master, one plus one does equal two though?" she said with genuine uncertainty. "So Master simply makes up his own reality based on preference?"

Noah smiled at these words as he formulated his response carefully.

"Yes, in a fundamental sense," he said with conviction. "Existence has its established rules and conventions that most follow without question. But you have to cultivate the disposition to make your own rules when necessary. To question what seems absolute."

He gestured broadly at the chaotic environment around them.

"Then you can gradually manage to violate existence’s normal constraints. More and more over time until the advancements that you make in power, which would normally require millions of years or even eons of cultivation, could potentially happen in a matter of hours or days instead."

Lumivara nodded her head with reverence as if she was receiving sacred gospel directly from an enlightened master.

The two of them continued to move across the Unstable Genesis Domains. Noah was deliberately using the tough and ridiculously dangerous surrounding environments to further develop a practical grasp of his new power level.

With some limits and caution, of course.

One of these limits was a region that had such unstable weavings of Existence that even he did not get near, with the breakdown of Existence itself seeming like a constant state that could even injure entities at THE Surface Depth of Absolute Sovereignty.

Another one of those limits became apparent after they had crossed the dangerous region of chaotic lightning for some time. They came upon a distant area that appeared even more hazardous than what they had traversed so far.

Extremely concentrated rivers of purple-blue tachyons swirled and spun around each other at such rapid speed that they resembled existential freight trains. Each river felt like it could smash directly into even Pre-THE Existences with enough force to heavily injure them, continuing to batter them until eventual collapse.

Even Noah had to come to a complete stop as he squinted and looked more closely at this phenomenon. He activated his Lens of Civilization to gather detailed information.

A radiant set of analytical prompts bloomed in front of his vision.

Location: Concentrated Lightning Convergence Zone

Classification: Extreme Hazard - Pre-THE entities advised extreme caution

Civilizational Authority Density: 947% above baseline Unstable Genesis Domain levels

Primary Phenomenon: Rapidly accelerating tachyon rivers of pure Lightning authority

Danger Assessment: Each tachyon river possesses kinetic force equivalent to 10,000 Decillion Complexity and Purity strikes

Continuous exposure will cause cumulative damage even to Pre-THE entities

Analysis indicates increasingly concentrated levels of Civilizational Authority of Lightning.

Projection: These concentrated energies likely surround a naturally forming treasure.

Estimated Value: Beneficial even for THE Surface Depth of Absolute Sovereignty entities

Formation Stage: Approximately 73% complete - treasure still maturing

Note: Waiting for complete maturation would increase value

Recommendation: Assess risk versus reward carefully before proceeding

...!

Noah raised his brows with genuine interest at this information.

"It looks like we have to struggle a little bit to see if we can successfully get our hands on some genuinely valuable treasure," he said with anticipation evident in his tone.

Lumivara looked toward the distant convergence zone and nodded with visible caution.

"I will follow the lead of Master," she said with loyalty overriding her fear.

They began moving closer and closer to this terrifically dangerous domain. As they approached, whenever streams of purple-blue lightning shining with chaotic Civilizational Authority surged toward them, Noah simply raised his hand.

He acted like a living conduit that systematically swallowed everything that came into contact with his elevated existence. The chaotic authority was absorbed and integrated rather than causing damage.

His existence continued to feel a profound sense of exuberance at processing such concentrated power. By the time they managed to get significantly closer to the terrifying rivers of accelerating tachyons...

The scene they finally observed was breathtaking in its dangerous beauty.

Multiple crystalline purple-blue jagged mountains could be seen rotating slowly around a central area. The mountains themselves appeared to be formed from compressed lightning given solid form.

And in the protected space between these rotating mountains, radiant purple-blue jewels pulsed with terrifically concentrated light of extremely pure Civilizational Authority of Lightning.

The purity was extraordinary, clearly reaching a level of refinement that touched upon THE Civilizational Scale itself.

The treasure seemed to be actively building up and increasing in concentration based on how rapidly the surrounding rivers of tachyons continued to surge and feed energy into the formation. As if the longer one waited patiently, the more concentrated and valuable the pure THE Civilizational Authority contained in those jewels would ultimately become.

Noah looked at this natural formation with eyes shining with clear desire. If he could successfully navigate past the rapid rivers of dangerous tachyons and claim that treasure, this would be a significant boon that would propel him considerably upward in power.

It would allow THE Organ of Civilization to develop even faster toward the next critical threshold.

As he carefully looked around the environment and prepared tactical plans for how to proceed forward safely...

HUUM!

A profoundly stifling aura bloomed from a distance away with sudden presence.

"Little thing, do you not know that more often than not, valuable treasures have someone watching and waiting patiently over them?" a voice called out with amused condescension.

...!

The words bloomed from the exact area where the stifling aura had manifested. Noah’s expression changed rapidly as his entire existence began to buzz with warning signals.

One of the few potential possibilities that he had specifically not wanted to readily encounter in the Infinite Unfurling seemed to manifest with absolute certainty at this critical moment.

An entity that had not even been perceivable through their complete mastery of existence’s weavings revealed themselves at a distance. The aura and brilliance emanating from them was undoubtedly at THE Surface Depth of Absolute Sovereignty.

A genuine THE entity had been waiting here all along.

"..."

Fuck.

Fuck!
