Infinite Mana In The Apocalypse

Chapter 3971: The Second Land Lifeform! III

Chapter 3971: The Second Land Lifeform! III

The ringing of the bell was heavy, and the results were pronounced!

|All beings who hear the unified tolling, regardless of their power or complexity, will enter a profound state of epiphany. During this state, they may form Eminent Early Living Existential Glyphs or lesser glyphs with only 75% of the required cost.|

Moiraine’s eyes fluttered closed as the sound washed over her, her entire being resonating!

Around her, every conscious entity on the Shore...from the transformed members of Noah’s family to the magnificent Heidrun...felt their consciousness expand as understanding bloomed within them.

|The tolling of the bells has been deemed... Unfathomably Quintessential!|

The very Shore itself seemed to pulse with approval, the golden sands humming with glory that would continue to echo for hours to come!

And then...

BOOM!

The gray clouds at the periphery of the Early Veiled Shore began to churn with violence that spoke to something vast approaching.

The mists split apart with the sound of reality tearing, creating a gap ten times larger than when Heidrun had made her grand entrance!

Many were jolted from their meditative stupor by a sense of dread that crept across the Shore like frost over glass.

Even Noah’s expression grew stern, his eleven bodies turning in unison toward the massive tear in their sanctuary’s boundary.

From that impossible gap emerged something that made reality itself recoil.𝕗𝐫𝐞𝕖𝕨𝐞𝗯𝚗𝕠𝘃𝐞𝚕.𝐜𝗼𝚖

An obsidian spider of impossible proportions pushed through the opening, her body gleaming with darkness so pure it seemed to absorb light rather than reflect it!

Eight legs, each one the size of an ancient tree, moved with terrifying grace as she entered the Early Veiled Shore.

Grace. Unbound grace!

Her magnificent form was both beautiful and horrifying...a perfect predator scaled to mythical proportions.

Eight eyes arranged across her head burned with gorgeous pupils that held depths of ancient knowledge and hunger.

Each eye was a different shade of crimson, from the deep red of spilled blood to the bright scarlet of fresh wounds, all of them focusing with terrible intelligence on the beings before her!

Her body was segmented with natural armor that looked like obsidian plates fused with organic mesh, while patterns of deep purple and gold traced all over her form.

|The calls of multiple Sacred Totems have been answered by Jorogumo, A Quasi-Kleos Early Living Land Lifeform.|

HUUM!

The prompt blazed across Noah’s consciousness as the massive spider regarded them all with those eight terrible eyes!

Then, with a fluidity that defied her enormous size, her form began to shift.

The transformation was mesmerizing and disturbing all at once. Her eight legs folded and merged, her massive body compressing and reshaping, until where a mythical spider had stood, there was now a young woman of devastating beauty.

She was tall and slender and curveceous all at once, with dark hair that fell like liquid midnight to her waist!

Her skin was pale as moonlight, creating a striking contrast with her crimson eyes...eyes that had retained their terrible depth despite the change in form.

She wore robes of black silk that seemed to move of their own accord, occasionally revealing patterns that suggested her true nature.

Her name...oh, her name!

Her name whispered across the Shore as if existence itself was announcing her!

Yoshinami!

Yoshinami!!!

She surveyed those present with cold, majestic emotion, her gaze carrying the weight of eons spent in patient waiting.

When that gaze fell upon Moiraine, the Arch Living Existence felt her very existence pulse with shock and a sudden, sharp awareness of her own mortality.

When Yoshinami’s attention found Heidrun, surprise flickered across her perfect features, followed by a smile that carried genuine amusement.

The goat, for her part, raised her head with characteristic arrogance, though anyone watching closely could see her legs trembling slightly.

Even in the face of fear, Heidrun would not abandon her imperial bearing!

Yoshinami’s smile deepened at this display of stubborn pride, a sound like silk over steel escaping her lips...not quite laughter, but acknowledgment of an existence of arrogance.

Finally, her gaze found Noah.

She looked at each of his eleven bodies with methodical precision before correctly identifying his primary form.

Her approach was deliberate, each step creating tiny fractures in the golden sand that sealed themselves moments after she passed.

When she stood before him, her smile transformed into something cold....one carrying the promise of power and brutality that transcended normal violence!

She nodded lightly, a gesture that somehow managed to convey both acknowledgment and warning.

Noah met her gaze without flinching, and as he did, her full details materialized before his consciousness.

|Name: Yoshinami

Designation: Quasi-Kleos Early Living Land Lifeform

Rarity: Quasi-Kleos

Lineage: The Cursed Weaver of Forgotten Threads, Jorogumo

Lore: In the darkest epochs of the Earliest Folds, when Early Creatures hunted for sport, Yoshinami and her kind were revered as the ultimate guardians that could protect against Early Creatures. Born from the nightmares of existence itself, she carries within her form the accumulated curses of a thousand fallen Races prevalent in those times. Her silk, spun from the essence of causality itself, can bind Existence as easily as flesh. The most terrifying aspect of her nature is her ability to become a living crown...wrapping around her Master’s head as a circlet of protection that makes collapse impossible.

Primary Boon - Crown of Inevitable Retribution: Once bonded, Yoshinami can transform into a cursed crown worn by her Master. Once per day, any being who attacks her Master will be struck by an Early Curse of Inevitability that brings True Death, completely annihilating their existence across all dimensions and possibilities. This curse cannot be resisted or avoided by any being who has not grasped the power of an Early Creature or mastered a Lost Forgotten Principle.

Secondary Boon - Threads of Twisted Existence: Can weave temporary alterations to causality within the Early Veiled Shore, creating zones where cause and effect operate according to her Master’s desires.

Passive Boon - Ancient Spider’s Wisdom: Provides her Master with instinctive knowledge of all poisons, venoms, races, herbs, and curses that exist since thr Earliest Folds the moment they are observed.

Disposition: Cold, calculating, and utterly brutal to enemies. Shows respect only to those who have earned it through power or cunning. Absolutely loyal once bonded, with loyalty expressed through merciless protection rather than affection.|

Noah’s eyes widened with genuine astonishment as he absorbed the implications of what had answered his call!

A Quasi-Kleos entity...something that stood just below the absolute pinnacle of what Land Lifeforms could achieve. And her primary ability...

True Death delivered to any who dared strike at him with lethal intent.

Not mere death, but the complete erasure of existence itself, something that even Living Existences feared above all else!

He had called for a second Land Lifeform.

The Shore had delivered him a living weapon of absolute protection, wrapped in the form of an ancient terror that wore beauty like a mask.

The symphony that had accompanied the bells’ tolling shifted to something darker, more complex, as if acknowledging that the Early Veiled Shore had just become infinitely more dangerous to any who might threaten its master!
