Infinite Mana In The Apocalypse

Chapter 3678: Point of No Return VI

Chapter 3678: Point of No Return VI

One body of his finished up in the Frequency of Light.

Another body of his remained in the True Frequency of the Singed.

He looked at the necrotizing, shattered piece of a white Wheel of Existence that floated within his constraints and bindings as he surveyed this Frequency.

It no longer had its Origin Singed.

He looked at the many Singed who were gravely injured, as well as the figures of Emelline and Mysara.

They no longer had an Origin Singed to rely on at this moment, and Noah was all they had left.

Did that make him the True Origin Singed?

His gaze sharpened at such a weaving of an idea as he turned and looked toward the direction Bob had been trying so hard to reach.

Toward where the very core weavings of the Wheel of Existence should be!

As one man gazed over the endless weavings of the Wheel and what could possibly lie at their very center...

Across the endless Weave, where one could cross to enter countless Frequencies or step into the Infinite Ravines.

Within the Infinite Ravines themselves, inside a Gateway Domus filled with shattered mirrors reflecting absolutely nothing…

In here, the Omnifather could be seen sitting atop a fractured mirror, his form brilliantly massive and so vast that his sunken head alone had once been mistaken for a dying star.

His body was etched with ever-changing glyphs, ancient symbols of possible existences long collapsed. His flesh gleamed with multicolored brilliance- not like a rainbow, but like refracted stardust from a billion different parallel weavings of existence, constantly shifting in hue, tone, and density as if he were made from every plane of existence stitched together!

Yet… he looked truly worn.

Tired.

Sunken eyes, vast enough to hold the reflections of galaxies, stared downward, weighed by the burden of eons. His face was aged- wrinkled by gravity itself, time folding over it like paper too long exposed to the elements. His back was hunched, shoulders curled inward, as if the pressure of existence still rested upon them!

The Omnifather was the singular wielder of the True Source of Versality…was.

The Origin of variation, a source of infinite possibility and adaptation. Versality was the power to embody, merge, or reinterpret every other possibility out there. It had limitless fluidity. However, this blessing was also a curse. Versality never ceases. It shifts endlessly, pulling on him, draining him, never allowing rest, as even his existence must change. Thus, he appeared fractured and weary- a being endlessly rewriting himself, bearing the totality of all the possible forms he could be!

It was why, when he failed Existence Severing, he did not perish.

There were countless other possibilities of him that did not fail.

So he simply pulled upon them.

He made his mistakes.

A great deal of them, in fact.

His sunken eyes thought about the Dead Thing he had let in countless years ago, because he simply wanted to return into the weavings of the Wheel.

The Dead Thing…

HUUUM!

In his thoughts, the massive figure of the Omnifather was forced to raise his head as he felt the terrifying glow of a Dead Thing's complexity erupting across the Gateway Domus he protected!

And when he looked, he found this Dead Thing looking back at him.

Shooting across the Domus as if it were coming from the direction of… the Wheel of Existence itself.

As if it was leaving the Wheel of Existence, crossing the Gateway Domus, and heading out toward the Nullvein Gravewake Folds!

The Omnifather looked at the Dead Thing, his eyes trembling in incredulity and shock.

The Dead Thing—Bob—surrounded by a dazzling Dead Absolute Complex True Source of Existence, looked back at him. Their gazes locked briefly before Bob's cold, apathetic eyes turned away from the Omnifather, as if he had merely observed someone inconsequential.

But the Omnifather was shaken. That… was Bob!

A Watcher of the Wheelomachy. The Disciple of the First Watcher!

But he was a Dead Thing?

And as the Omnifather looked at the Black Wheel of Existence around Bob, he went ashen as he recognized that Wheel—it was the same one that had wrapped around a tentacled creature…

A Dead Thing he had once let into the Wheel and hunted down himself to kill and eradicate, as it had ruined his tremendous Purity and prevented him from becoming a Resplendent Monad!

But… they were one and the same?

And now it was leaving the Wheel of Existence?!

The more the Omnifather thought about it, the more ashen he became as he imagined disastrous consequences!

"STOP!"

He roared, his billowing True Source of Versality erupting, but the blinding black brilliance covering Bob was far too intricate and complex. Bob did not even glance behind him as he continued to tear across the Gateway Domus until he flickered out of existence!

…!

The Omnifather breathed heavily as he stared at the scene.

His eyes pulsed with lividity and rage as he roared, his body splitting apart as one of him surged ahead.

Following where Bob had vanished—into the Nullvein Gravewake Folds, where rare were the entities of the Wheel of Existence who dared to go…

Unless they had abandoned their posts.

Past a Gateway Domus.

And into the Nullvein Gravewake Folds.

BOOM!

The unmaking of existence thundered out as the figure of Bob crossed a doorway and made a clean exit—appearing in an area filled with overlapping folds of existence and non-existence stretching out endlessly in all directions!

From where he came, one could barely make out a flicker of life amid all the death.

It looked like a shattered mirror barely discernible amidst the obsidian folds of collapse, paradox, and fragmented existence—hidden between the folds of the Nullvein Gravewake Folds, where the entrance to the Gateway Domus he had just exited lay!

The moment he arrived in the Nullvein Gravewake Folds, his body began to brim with a terrifying sense of Complexity as if unshackled. Black and white brilliance erupted from the Absolute Complex True Source of Existence that bathed over Bob, and in the next moment…

WAP!

Black and white separated.

In the Nullvein Gravewake Folds, two Bobs- one white, one black—appeared.

The White Bob looked weary and tired, while the Black Bob met his eyes with a cold gaze, his voice echoing out.

"You tried things your way for millions of years, and look where that brought us."

…!

The Black Bob shone with interminable luminosity.

His Complexity was rising ever higher, while his Purity remained constant. His voice echoed, resonating with the weavings of collapse all around.

"I'll take it from here."

WAA!
