Chapter 470: The Real Cheat
Chapter 470: The Real Cheat
“How do I save Senior Brother?” Li Yao asked.
[Just use the Heavenly Dao Fragment,] the Sage replied.
“Heavenly Dao Fragment?” she asked in confusion.
[That’s right. That’s what I call this power,] the Sage said.
Though internally, she admitted that she didn’t really understand it fully.
It was a unique ability she was born with. Since she didn’t understand how it could have such power – even stronger than her transcended Law of Causality – she had assumed it was some sort of authority from something like the Heavenly Dao.
Only the Heavenly Dao could do such a thing.
At least, that’s what she thought, but her calculations didn’t give her anything definitive.
“How do I use it?” Li Yao asked.
[Just think of a question or a statement, and it’ll show the probability of it being true. You can then use that to calculate the best possible way for breaking the Heavenly Dao restriction,] the Sage responded.
Li Yao just remained still.
The Sage sighed. [Fine, I’ll tell you what to do,] she said. [Start by circulating your energy like this…]
The Sage used her calculation ability to guide Li Yao, and she followed the instructions, deconstructing the Heavenly Dao protection. Just a few minutes later, she was able to shatter the restriction.
Her eyes brightened. “Senior Brother, Junior Sister is here to take you home,” she said, rushing toward the mortal world.
[Wait,] the Sage spoke urgently, causing her to stop.
“Now what?” Li Yao asked impatiently.
[There is a sage-level barrier here,] the Sage said.
She wondered who could even make such a thing. She suspected it was this so-called Senior Brother. She wondered if this Senior Brother had something to do with the corruption of her avatar. She then sighed – she didn’t want anything to do with such a person, but if she expressed this feeling, this girl would probably destroy this body.
[100%]
[Listen to me. I’ll show you how to destroy the formation…] the Sage spoke.
With the Sage’s help, Li Yao was able to easily find the formation’s weakness and shatter it.
Suddenly, someone appeared before her.
“Senior Brother?” she spoke.
“No, a clone,” she said as she suddenly appeared next to him.
As she was about to push him away, she felt the space around her freeze. Even time stopped moving completely. She then felt the space shift, and she was teleported several light-years away.
She looked around her, waving her hand and shattering the frozen time and space before spreading her Heavenly Way authority.
…
“Senior Brother, what is the meaning of this?” Li Yao asked.
“What do you mean?” Xiang Yu responded.
He thought to himself that although he had mastery over the Dao, he didn’t have Dao qi to use it. And this wasn’t his main body, which had high qi concentration that he could use to compensate for the lack of Dao qi.
At his current state, he was at best equally matched with the Sage. But if he accounted for the strange ability she used to get the best textbook perfect move…
“Why won’t you let me save you?” she asked.
“I appreciate your concern, but I can handle it on my own. No need to save me,” he said.
Her expression hardened. “I see, so that’s how it is. That’s unfortunate,” she spoke softly.
Xiang Yu looked at her nervously. He wondered what she was planning. Could she really let the matter go?
“It seems you have been corrupted,” she said, blood tears beginning to fall from her eyes.
“Then I have no choice but to purify you before saving you,” she spoke, opening up her arms and smiling widely toward him.
Xiang Yu sighed. “Well, come at me,” he said.
As he finished the sentence, Li Yao was already before him.
Li Yao’s fist, wreathed in Heavenly Way authority, collided with Xiang Yu’s palm infused with Absolute Source energy. The impact shattered the void around them, tearing a hole through three star systems in a single moment.
They separated, each rebounding off the other’s power.
Li Yao twisted space, pulling distant suns toward Xiang Yu, using them like projectiles.
Xiang Yu didn’t bother defending this and just used his Absolute Source law, rewriting the stars and turning their nuclear fire into harmless light.
She appeared behind him, her blade cutting through his torso.
But before the wound could fully form, his regeneration had already restored him. After evolving his bloodline to the source level, the created clone held the primordial level bloodline.
He spun, grabbing her wrist and hurling her through a nearby planet.
The world cracked in half from the impact.
Li Yao emerged from the planetary debris, her Heavenly Way authority reshaping the broken fragments into massive spears of compressed matter. They shot toward Xiang Yu at impossible speeds.
He dodged the first, but the second pierced through his shoulder and leg, pinning him against a dying star.
“You’re making this harder than it needs to be,” she said, appearing before him. Her hand pressed against his chest.
Xiang Yu simply smiled. His body then dissolved, only to reform instantly behind her.
“Same to you,” he replied, driving his fist into her spine.
She screamed, her body bending at an unnatural angle before her own regeneration kicked in. Turning with inhuman flexibility, she grabbed his arm and swung him like a weapon, smashing him through seven planets in sequence.
The battle raged across light-years. They tore chunks from gas giants and hurled them at each other. Time warped around their clashes, creating temporal echoes where the same attacks played out in stuttering loops. Space cracked like glass wherever their powers met.
Li Yao’s Heavenly Way authority let her rewrite the concepts of distance and mass. She made herself weightless to move faster, then infinitely heavy to crush him.
Xiang Yu’s Absolute Source law countered by making himself immune to such changes, his power superseding even her reality manipulation.
They crashed into a binary star system. Li Yao seized control of both suns, merging them into a supernova directed at Xiang Yu. He absorbed the explosion, converting its energy into pure Absolute Source law power, then released it as a beam that carved through folds of space and time.
The beam caught Li Yao in the chest, vaporizing half her body.
