Chapter 362: Domains
Chapter 362: Domains
[Special: Void (World), Space (Domain), Time (Domain), Chaos (Domain), Yin-Yang (Domain), Order (Domain), Fate (Domain), Karma (Domain), All-Elements (Domain)]
Looking at the domains in his status screen, he didn’t believe that they couldn’t level up as his void domain classification was not the same as the others.
And even when he used it, he always felt that the void domain was stronger. He couldn’t attribute this to simply being that void was stronger than other concepts. If this was the case, wouldn’t people who study things like void always be stronger than the others?
No wonder his fire domain felt weak compared to void.
It wasn’t that void was stronger, but that his void domain had reached the world level, which was supposedly a level above the normal domain level. When he had asked the Empress about this classification, she didn’t seem to know anything about it, saying just understanding mattered.
It seemed they didn’t have a proper measure of understanding for the domains or it was simply lost to time. Well, his system was different as it had a measure.
Remembering how strong Tianling’s time domain was, to the point of almost destroying his void domain if not suppressed by the empress, he guessed there was a level above world. After that, it was probably just law according to the Empress.
Still, even though he now knew how the classifications were, he still didn’t understand why he wasn’t gaining any experience.
After some thought, he figured out the source of the problem.
He simply wasn’t studying the domains enough. Although he kept using them, the way the domains progressed was through deep understanding. To gain experience in his domains, he needed to study them deeply and understand how they worked at a fundamental level. Otherwise, he might never be able to gain domain experience in his lifetime.
He sighed. Well, he would also dedicate time to explore his domains and conduct much more thorough domain research. With his heavenly grade enlightenment, it shouldn’t be that hard, right?
Moving on, the rest of his intents had also broken through to the second level just like his palm. With the breakthrough, he felt his closeness to the weapons increase greatly. This was really great considering he used all weapons in his war god form and even his void silk transformed into all sorts of weapons during combat.
Speaking of, he extended his hand and a knife appeared in his hand, extending from his sleeve. He then thought of dismissing it and it disappeared into his clothes. His clothes were no longer the tights he had before. Rather, he had transformed the silk into his usual clothing. Although he preferred the tights and it was better for combat overall, his junior sister liked to take advantage of him too much when he wore it, so he decided to change into this.
As he thought of this, his clothes suddenly changed into a modern suit.
He looked at himself, thinking that he was actually getting married today. It had been just two or so months ago when he wore this suit to his job every day. Looking at it, after wearing traditional clothing for so long, it looked quite nice. He wondered whether to have a modern wedding. He could commission suits for the guests. He could even sell the suits for some extra cash.
But he shook his head, transforming back to his regular clothing. He didn’t think it was worth it. He was already extremely wealthy, what could the guests possibly give to him?
Besides, a Chinese traditional wedding was much more appealing.
…
Moving on to his professions, Xiang Yu saw the one point experience increase in cooking and almost collapsed. This was really too little. He was still spam creating heavenly grade food throughout the day but still only got a single point in immortal grade experience.
“Looks like the world is against me fr,” he thought.
Still, thinking about it, it made some sense.
Immortal grade was a whole new realm of existence compared to heavenly grade.
Even so, he still felt like he was being nerfed. But his expression brightened once again. He had just upgraded the spirit vein to immortal grade and was already working on a method to produce immortal food. Looks like he’d be back to gaining his usual experience soon.
The rest of the professions were also coming along great, with most of them on the verge of entering the immortal realm. For immortal realm, Xiang Yu didn’t care about blacksmithing and alchemy as he didn’t have materials, but for runesmith and formation master, he was super hyped.
He couldn’t wait to set up that immortal grade defensive formation and relax a bit. With such a formation, he would have time to rest and accumulate power without all the shenanigans even if an immortal personally came.
The only thing that would be able to force him to act was maybe if the world was threatened. But that would just give Li Yao a chance to extort—ahem, gain more heavenly merit from the world.
“Hehehe, caring for one’s wife is a sign of a good husband,” he thought.
Speaking of, he glanced to the side where three clones were working together to try and see if cooking immortal food might succeed.
“Feeding your wife is also being a caring husband. She won’t mind being a little overfed, will she?” Xiang Yu thought, his expression becoming more evil.
With the junior sister’s celestial grade spirit root, she had already almost accumulated enough qi to go directly to the peak of integration realm but was holding back from breaking through for after the wedding.
He licked his lips. If she broke through, even if she didn’t go directly to the peak of integration realm, he’d have a gift ready for her. If he succeeded in creating immortal food, he was going to focus mostly on it and create an immortal soon.
Noticing his expression was becoming too twisted, he quickly straightened himself and fixed his expression. “Hmm, I’m really learning some strange habits.”
For the rest of the professions, medicine and spirit farmer had broken through during the day and were already almost at the halfway point, meaning they would enter the heavenly stage after the next reset.
Xiang Yu was particularly interested in the growth booster 7.0, especially after the spirit vein upgrade. And after the next reset, he might even have the 8.0 version.
His research into making high level herbs was still not yet complete, but he might start seeing some results soon. Especially if he combines his knowledge from the heavenly grade spirit farmer while also taking into account his now first grade researcher.
…
A/N: All-Elements (Domain) is not an actual domain. Its the ten elements. I just put them together like all weapons intent
