Chapter 303: Heavenly-Grade Formation
Chapter 303: Heavenly-Grade Formation
Xiang Yu smiled as he examined his body refining stat.
It had just broken through not that long ago and was already on its way toward its next breakthrough. Looking at the required experience points, he estimated he probably wouldn’t even need to wait for the next reset.
His qi realm was also advancing exceptionally well, nearly reaching the halfway mark. He figured he should be able to break through to the Core Formation realm within two resets max.
Turning his attention to his soul realm, he noticed it was beginning to pick up pace.
Still, there were some things he didn’t quite understand. Although his soul had regressed back to the infant level, it should still possess at least the same power as an adult human soul.
If this were truly the case, then he should be able to begin constructing the bridge between his soul and body, just like cultivators do when entering the Integration realm.
But after attempting this process many times without any success, he found himself at a loss. He had consulted the empress about this problem, but she lacked knowledge about his particular type of soul. He wondered if his inability to create the bridge stemmed from not having true qi, or perhaps he needed to develop his soul into a genuine adult-level soul before attempting integration.
If that were the case, it would truly be unfortunate.
Still, he supposed it didn’t matter much in the grand scheme of things. Even if that were required, by the time he reached the Void realm, his soul would probably have already entered the adult stage.
His spiritual root had gained experience again, and the first doubling had brought it to one thousand points. This meant it would advance to divine level in just three days.
If divine-level spiritual root was anything like divine-level enlightenment, he didn’t even want to imagine what sorts of incredible feats he might accomplish with it. He might even reach the Void realm with his soul still in the infant or nascent stage.
As he contemplated this, he noticed something else.
His bloodlines and Chaos Body were actually set to break through to their next levels in the next reset.
Xiang Yu’s smile widened considerably. If the Chaos Body entered its fourth level and his bloodlines achieved pure blood status, he might receive a massive boost in spiritual root experience, making the time required to reach divine grade even shorter.
Examining his other physique, Xiang Yu felt surprised by the sudden jump in experience. The last bloodline upgrade had really been no joke, to be able to give the Transcendence Dao Body one thousand experience points in a single day.
Although this wasn’t quite at the level of the highest daily experience it had ever received (2000), one had to note that that had occurred when the physique was still at level one.
Still, Xiang Yu was looking forward to the next reset. When his bloodlines and Chaos Body achieved their breakthroughs, he didn’t believe he couldn’t break this record.
…
Xiang Yu noticed that his enlightenment was also approaching the halfway point.
It seemed it would advance to the next level within two resets. Considering how much benefit the divine-level enlightenment had already brought him, he couldn’t even begin to imagine what the heavenly level would be like.
For his techniques, the elemental clone ability was already well past the halfway point and would break through to the next level after the reset.
Though he felt a little disappointed as the breakthrough probably wouldn’t include the benefits he really wanted.
Still, he didn’t dwell on it too much as he was already working on ways to improve upon the elemental clone ability.
His weapon techniques had reached the great completion stage and would advance to the perfect level in the next reset. Then he would finally gain access to all twenty weapon intents.
Xiang Yu wondered what would happen if he were to fuse all his intents together. Would he create some super OP all-weapon intent that could command heaven and earth?
Well, no point in thinking about it since the fusion function still hadn’t reached the level capable of merging intents yet.
Now moving on to the main subject, his professions.
Cook and appraisal were leading as always, though still far from breaking through to the immortal level. Next came runesmith, formation master, alchemist, and blacksmith, which had just entered the heavenly grade.
Countless insights flowed continuously into Xiang Yu’s mind about how to create heavenly-grade pills, treasures, runes, formations and allat.
As the insights flowed into his consciousness, he was finally able to understand something that had been puzzling him for quite a while now, the true strength of heavenly-grade formations.
After all, first-grade formations were supposed to be comparable to a Mahayana realm peak cultivator, and immortal-grade formations were supposed to match an immortal realm cultivator.
From the insights he had gained, it was mostly as he had guessed.
A heavenly-grade formation was at about the level of a half-step immortal. This was really ambiguous to measure though since it wasn’t really a genuine realm, but he supposed it could theoretically block anyone below the immortal realm, as long as it wasn’t some monster with the combat ability of an immortal while still in the mortal realms.
For his other professions, medicine and spirit farmer were past the halfway point and might even advance during the day, entering the third grade. The same was true for researcher, which would be entering the fourth grade. These particular professions were slow to improve due to their own unique reasons.
For research and spirit farmer, he did have a few ideas in mind on how to increase the speed at which they advanced. But as for medicine, he didn’t have anything concrete in mind yet.
Still, the disciples had been getting more and more reckless as of late, and his patient count was starting to increase. Though he didn’t really hope for them to get hurt, he wasn’t complaining about it either.
