I Love Destroying Worlds' Plot

Evening. 10 p.m. 

It was pitch-black on the banks of Han Lake. The vast and boundless lake water was enveloped by the colors of the obsidian. Countless stars and a huge crimson moon were reflected on the surface of Han Lake. Many humans who live near the river were camping by the side of the lake, spending the night in the open, walking on the grass, and having fun. However, they would never have thought that at this very moment at the center of the lake, the gathering of the greatest ghost market of the ghost world had already begun.

Xue Hua walked along this long passageway of ghost fire for approximately five minutes holding the hands of his husband. Behind them, his elder brother and the Fox God follow after their steps. They were currently walking on the surface of the Han River far from the eyes of human lands. When they reached the end, the Ghost King, Xie Mo, extended his hand to cut apart the dense fog that obstructed them.

Everything suddenly became clear. Thousands of ghosts and inhuman beings had already gathered at this ghost market. Of course, there are some humans but most of them wear a mask to hide their appearance. Only Humans with abilities to protect themselves like shamans and ghost controllers could have the confidence to attend such a large Ghost Festival. 

Xue Hua stood in the corner of the ghost market to observe. The ghost market was hovering above Han Lake, covering at least a hundred thousand square meters. At this time, a ghost guide was currently standing at a corner of the ghost market. There were countless ghosts who had set up small stalls on the surface of the lake in a seemingly disorderly manner but were in fact orderly disorder. They faintly formed into a perfect ten-sided figure. Xue Hua and his group were wearing ancient robes which are supposed to let them blend easily into the crowd.

The Ghost King just wore his usual ancient black and red robes when he was in his real form, though his hair was short like when he is in modern human form to match his wife's short white hair. There is supposed to be no need for him to cover his face with a mask as his aura was enough to tell every being in the area that he is a ghost king but his wife asked him to wear a black mask that covered half of his face revealing everything below his nose.

Beside him, his wife is wearing ancient red and black robes unlike what the ghost king wore, his robe had more red than black which is opposite of what his husband wore. On his face is the black-colored veil which hid the face of his face revealing only his phoenix-shaped crimson eyes.

Meanwhile, the other couple wore a different type of clothing. The Fox God, Hu Yue, just wore his usual kimono covering himself with his black fox mask. Beside him, Xue Yan was forced by him to wear a white black striped kimono and a white veil-like his little brother on his face. The truth is Hu Yue wanted him to wear a white fox mask instead, but Xue Yan disagreed saying that he hated something covering his face, the veil was already within the boundaries of his tolerance.

This is why instead of the fox mask, the Fox God instead put an illusion spell on Xue Yan making it that a pair of fox ears appears on his head hiding his human ears even changing his original black hair to white. The same fox ears appear on the Fox God's head. Black Fox ears.

Looking around Xue Hua found that the ghost festival is not that much different from the ordinary festival. Human food stalls can be found as well though there are more ghost stalls that sell antique things like old calligraphies, porcelain vases, and such.

Xue Hua saw a stall that sells ice cream and immediately pulled his husband to buy it for him. "Fujun, I saw ice cream." 

Ghost King Xie Mo who let himself get pulled while protecting his wife from the crowd, "Qizi don't run." He said while dragged over towards the said Ice cream stall by his wife.

Hu Yue and Xue Yin looked at the couple who left them alone to buy ice cream.

The Fox God asked, "Do you want to eat Ice cream too, Yan'er?"

"If there's dark chocolate flavor." Replied Xue Yan.

The Fox God smiled as he gently held Xue Yan's hand and escorted him to the same Ice cream stall where the Ghost King and his wife are.

Xue Hua bought a large bowl of Ice cream with 3 huge scoops with different flavors. Xie Mo is holding the bowl for him as he still needs to lift his veil to be able to eat. Xue Hua shares his ice cream with his husband and shares the same spoon as usual. The other couple just bought one scoop each on a cone. Their group took lots of gaze falling on them.

First, both couples were eye-catching and wore couple clothes. One human couple with an ancient Chinese theme while the other is a Japanese kimono and a fox couple. Especially Xue Brothers whose appearance was only concealed with a thin veil that didn't hide their phoenix-shaped eyes. Giving them an appearance of mysterious veiled beauty. Moreover, at this moment both the Ghost King and the Fox Ghost hid their domineering aura to avoid creating chaos during the festival. Even with all the eyes on them, the group ignores it as usual. 

The two couples were enjoying the festival while ignoring the eyes of strangers on them. They've eaten and played a lot. The Xue brothers enjoyed the shooting game their husband's won them half-human size plushies. A black rabbit and A black cat. The rabbit was hugged by Xue Hua while the cat was carried by Xue Yin.

Not far from them, the Protagonist gong was watching them. More like staring at Xue Hua with widened eyes when their group passes in front of him.

"Pure gold-colored soul. A golden soul!?" he murmured in shock as the drinks in his hand fell as he unintentionally let go of it in his dazed state.

This protagonist gong is wearing a pure black Chinese tunic. With his dark brown hair which glows golden under light, comb up, and his green eyes which slightly glow with gold when he uses his Yinyang eyes. The truth is that when that eye-catching group passed in front of him he was resting at the near rock seating to pass his time. The group causes commotion in the crowd when they walk around. He could hear the ghost and supernatural entities saying, 

"Look what beautiful pairs of couples. A human and fox couple together are rare to see."

"Don't you think that tall handsome man in ancient clothing feels familiar?"

"Wow~ that young man must be his wife. Holding his waist all the time. So sweet~"

"That Black fox mask. Isn't that the Fox God!?"

"I didn't hear news of the Fox God getting married?!"

"The fox bride is not bad as well. He looks like a silent beauty."

Feng Hou who heard a couple of ghost girls not far from where he is seated looked at the said couples the ghosts were looking at. When they saw the group he could instantly perceive through their disguise. The said fox couple in front. The black fox had a divine aura around him. though he tries to hide it with his eyes he could see that this black fox is a Fox God at God level. His partner is a human who was disguised to look like a fox creature. It seems that this human is indeed this God's Fox Bride.

His eyes then wander on the other couple. Seeing them he was shocked by what he saw. The tall handsome man is a ghost at King's level. It is obvious by seeing his hidden aura that he is a Ghost King and the strongest one he had seen in his life. This Ghost King is even stronger than him or that Fox God. Seeing that Feng Hou couldn't help but frown at the thought of a Ghost King of that level roaming unhindered around the human lands. He decided to inform his family about this Ghost King. His Yinyang eyes move at the last figure standing beside the Ghost King. 

Seeing that their interaction seems to be too intimate he could conclude that this veiled human must be the ghost king's partner. This is why he intently observes the human beside the Ghost King. The beautiful man whose waist was held by him is an ordinary human at first sight. But Feng Hou felt that a human who is chosen by the Ghost King at such a frightening level would never be an ordinary human which is why he used a spell to temporarily open his Heavenly eyes only to be such with what he had seen.

With his Heavenly eyes he saw that the human has a special physique of Extreme Yin but what stunned him the most is that this human has a pure golden colored soul. In short, his soul is the purest among humans. Even the humans protected by the Fox God only have a light golden-colored soul that matches the Fox God which is also surprising enough.

"W-Wait. Please wait!!!" said Feng Hou as he ran after the two couples.

In his dazed state, he runs over to block the group, but his eyes only wander between Xue Yan and Xue Hua. Everyone around them stopped to watch what this human shaman is going to do, to that group of beautiful men. The Ghost King and Fox God noticed that the human shaman that suddenly blocked their way kept on staring at their partners and instantly took a vigilant gesture to protect their lovers behind them.

Hu Yue glared at Feng Hou and blocks his way, "What do you want human?" he asked.

Xue Yan raised his hand and pinched the Fox God's back for blocking his sight. "Don't stand in front of me, A'Yue."

"Ow. Ow… Wuwu~ I won't Yan'er~" said Hu Yue who held Xue Yan's hand and moved aside barely to let Xue Yan see the one who blocked their path.

Xue Hua on the other hand couldn't move his husband in front of him and could only peek from behind his husband revealing only his head.

"What's wrong? Who came?" asked Xue Hua.

"Stay behind. Don't move." Said Xie Mo to his naughty wife behind him.

Xue Hua tries to avoid his husband's hand and said, "What's happening? Let me see~"

Feng Hou was treated as a pervert by the two gongs, could even ignore the two pairs of eyes glaring at him as his eyes still wander at the Xue brothers which are together with the Ghost King and the Fox God.

Feng Hou asked, "Why? Why are you two humans staying by the side of a Fox God and a Ghost King?"
