The taller man held the smaller man in his arms carrying him like a child or some kind of precious treasure and came out of the room.
Ye Xiajie said, "Baby, hold on properly."

He then looked at the reincarnated Highgod and said, "Little one, I suggest that you cleanse your body soon or your high grade mental energy would harm you the next time you use it."

"Alright. I’m a bit sleepy. My love, let’s buy my cake before the store closes," said the God of Destruction before once again closing his eyes to sleep.
The Sovereign God of Void and Darkness didn’t even give the pair a glance and just gave his wife a kiss on his forehead before carrying him away. The Crown Prince and Ye Caoyun watch as the couple disappear at the other end of the hallway and leave the floor they were in. Once the sight of the couple was gone, the tense atmosphere in the area had faded. Ye Qinya couldn’t hold back sighing in relief. Sensing the changes of expression on the Crown Prince, Ye Caoyun realized that the prince must have known who those two are.
Ye Caoyun asked, "Crown Prince, do you know that couple?"
"Hm, they are among the recently accepted teachers in the Academy. They should be teaching in your royal class," answered the Crown Prince, Ye Qinya.
The peach blossom eyes of Ye Caoyun narrowed knowingly and said, "If they become teachers then... I have to attend my classes seriously from now on."
Even though the Crown Prince wanted to ask the reason why Ye Caoyun said these words, he knew that he wasn’t lying when he said it. The dinner that night was happily accomplished but Ye Caoyun chose not to bother the crown prince further that night. While eating their meals, the Crown Prince had informed him things and details about the sentinels and guides. Ye Caoyun finally knew the reason why those sentinel classmates of his had suddenly surrounded him in the classroom. They were all going to ask him for a compatibility test. Single sentinels would actively seek unpaired guides. After all, this is a chance for them to find a pair that can help them ease the pain of mental contamination.

"Um. Can I call you Yun’er?" Ye Qinya asked and even added, "You can also stop calling me your highness. It’s alright to call me brother if you wish to."
"Please feel free to call me as you wish, Brother Qinya," said Ye Caoyun.
The reason he did this is because his dad told him to get along with the Crown Prince. Since the royal family is indeed his father’s family then he can only treat them the same way he treats his foster parents. Since he was given permission by the Crown Prince to call him by his name then he will not reject him. Ye Caoyun didn’t expect the Crown Prince to smile after hearing that had agreed to this sudden change in name calling.
Ye Qinya said, "Then I will be returning now. Sleep well, Yun’er."
"You too, Brother Qinya," said Ye Caoyun as he watches the car of the Crown Prince leave the premises of the mansion.
The servants behind him didn’t show much reaction to their faces but in their minds, they were already screaming out loud. After all, that was the first time they had seen a smiling crown prince. Who is the crown prince? He is an infamous figure in the empire as a cold-hearted sentinel who mercilessly kills his enemies. Now they had to witness him asking their young master to call him brother. This is simply unbelievable in the eyes of these servants.
The old butler said, "Young prince, the bath had been prepared in your room."
"Thank you, Grandpa Butler!" Ye Caoyun smiled.
The servants in this mansion had never looked down on him for being adopted. Instead they treated her like their real young master and likewise, Ye Caoyun had treated him as a part of their duke’s family.
