With the Spirit God’s intervention, some of the elementals who were summoned by the summoners at the Barren Lands and Military Compound were saved and reversed summoned by Spirit God Thorn himself. However, there are still some that have failed to return and these were spirits whose abilities had been merged with their contractors. Since their abilities had merged with someone, they were no ordinary spirits who only lent their strength to their summoners but tied their lives to their masters. Their souls were seized and they weren’t even able to struggle. They had become cannon fodders whose only use is to be a tool to allow one to wield elemental abilities.
All of this was only possible because of the potions that were forced to them by their people around their summoners. Not only this potion had sealed their soul turning them into uncontrollable puppets. These beings also force them to sign an illegal contract where everything of theirs would be possessed by the other party which is no different from slavery. The effects of the potions prevented them from going against the will of the others and so they ended in a state where they are no longer a spirit from the spirit realm but a heretic that abandoned their race.
Because of this, even though the Spirit God Thorn had made a move personally he still failed to save them as the Spirit Realm determined that they had betrayed their realm and their life and death were no longer under the Spirit God. Even though Lord Thorn tried to pull them all back, those who no longer have connection to his domain can no longer be considered as his person. That’s why they are unable to come back.
The spirits whose souls had been sealed cannot do anything as their connections to their Spirit God was cut off. Their tears stroll down but there is nothing they could do. In despair, most of these elementals had chosen to self destruct. The power of this last attempt to be freed wasn’t that powerful if they are alone. But once a whole group did, it left some kind of tragedy within the barren lands and the military compound.
Sounds of explosions had rang a few days after the intervention of the Spirit God. Those whose had signed contracts with these suicidal elementals had died with time. A lot of powerful beasts and hypnotized humans were killed by these self implosion acts.
Pei Jin was so annoyed that he screamed in anger.

On the other hand, back at the Spirit Realm.
The Spirit God Thorn witnessed the self sacrifice of his brethren whom he failed to save. It was only at this moment that he felt bad as their ruler. If before he didn’t care much about the other spirits or the overall Spirit Realm because of its denial of his daughter’s existence, seeing these young elementals killing themselves just so they wouldn’t be used to fight against their own brethren made Spirit God Thorn forlorn. He can not feel the heavy responsibility as the ruler of one whole race which he never cared about before.
Spirit God Thorn actually didn’t have much attachment to the Spirit Realm. In his mind, he just happened to reach the peak strength within the Spirit Realm and reached Godhood. Though he cannot be compared to the gods in the upper realm worlds at least in this world, he is considered one of the divinities and ruler over a whole domain.
His original intent to get stronger was only to protect his wife and child. After he had reached the peak, he had lost his beloved and only his daughter was left. He was devastated. At that time, if only the rules of the Spirit Realm could allow his pregnant wife to stay by his side in this realm his beloved wouldn’t have died. But the realm where he was born didn’t allow a mortal much less a human to enter their realm, his enemies had exploited this loophole and made it hard for his wife.
By the time he came out of training, it was already too late. His wife was already dying and was beyond saving. This gave hatred in his heart. Even though the Spirit Realm had considered him their god, he didn’t care and let the Elemental Emperor run the realm. That’s why when he found his daughter, Xua Laira, he didn’t hesitate to leave the Spirit Realm. In his eyes, this daughter of his was his last treasure.
The enemies had taken this as an opportunity and targeted the elementals that can be summoned to the mortal realm. Without him in the Spirit Realm, the other Elemental Emperor had no way to reach him. It was already too late when he learned about it. A lot of low ranked elementals had been summoned and seized. If not for the fact that some elementals had signed contracts with the beastmen race and knew that their guardian, Lord Vega, had signed a contract with the Elemental Emperor of the Wind, Lord Greene, that this situation would have never reached the ears of the Spirit God who had gone hiding in the mortal realm with his daughter.
Now watching the countless suicidal acts of those elementals who he failed to saved made Spirit God Thorn feel like a failure as a ruler of his realm. Because of this event, he was determined to eliminate the races that cause this much harm to his Spirit Realm. He decided to ally himself with the Beastmen race of the Mortal realm.
On this day, just above the barrier of the ancient forest, three huge spirit doors had appeared. Everyone was shocked. Only after the descent of the Spirit God’s real body did almost everyone who was watching the situation in the mortal realm realized that the spirit race was determined to join this war against the beast race and the evil beast god.
The voice of the Spirit Realm God, Spirit God Thorn echoes in the whole mortal realm.
{I, the Spirit God of the Spirit Realm, Thorn seeks alliance with the Beastmen race in extermination the Beast Clan and everyone involved with illegal contracts of my race. Effective immediately!}
The leaders of the beastmen race, Lord Huzi and Beast God Mo Minkong, heard the declaration of the Spirit God Thorn and responded immediately. Beast God Mo Minkong used his God form and together with his mate, the leader of the Beastmen race declared.
{I, Beast God Mo Minkong and Lord Huzi, the demigod leader of the Beastman race, accept the alliance with Spirit God Thorns of the Spirit Realm! Effective immediately! My brethren, welcome our guests to our land!}
The voices of Beast God Mo Minkong and Lord Huzi also resound in the whole realm. Everyone was stunned by these events. However, before they could be happy, voices from the Barren Land and Military Compound echoed as well. This time the enemies can no longer turn a blind eye at such blatant attempts of alliance.
The Evil Beast God, Lord Ouroboros and his contracted human, the Villain, Pei Jin had also shown their might.

The enrage roars of the beasts coming from the Barren Lands echoes so loudly. No one had expected that within that land devoid of abundance this much of living still exists.
