Chapter 916 - Luosang and Yan Su Felt Sorry for Nian Junting
Chapter 916: Luosang and Yan Su Felt Sorry for Nian Junting
Mo Jin was busy, so she let them do what they wanted.
Two minutes later, Yan Su walked to Mo Liuxi’s door. Before she knocked on the door, it opened, and Mo Liuxi’s trousers were thrown into her hands.
Mo Liuxi was in pajama pants, with his upper body bare. Standing by the door, he said to her, “Go and wash them. The hairdryer is in the bathroom cabinet. Dry them and then come to my room to get them steamed.”
Yan Su felt lucky she didn’t have brothers. Nowadays, brothers could be arrogant.
Yan Su considered herself unlucky. She brought his clothes to the bathroom to wash them. It was a little tricky to wash the oil off the fabric; she had to use a little dishwashing liquid on them.
After drying the clothes with the hairdryer, she brought them to Mo Liuxi’s room.
He was leaning on the headboard, looking at his laptop. He didn’t even raise his head to look at Yan Su when she came in.
Everybody was busy, yet he still had the time and energy to spend time with his computer.
Yan Su complained silently.
That was the first time she went into his room. Boys’ rooms were always different from girls’ rooms. His room was finished in simple colors. His bookcase contained a lot of CD and trophies; near the window, was a phonograph.
Yan Su put his shirt on the garment steamer, and carefully steamed it bit by bit, up and down.
Mo Liuxi raised his head and saw her bend over to steam the lower edge of his shirt.
She was wearing a long, pink dress. As she bent down, the pink fabric wrapped around her hip tightly.
Seeing this, he sensed his blood rush straight to his brain, so he hurriedly turned his eyes away.
As she finished steaming the clothes, Yan Su put them on his bed neatly and said, “It’s done. Get changed.”
“Alright.” Mo Liuxi glanced at her. She had delicious makeup on today, and her dark eyes glistened like juicy grapes. Her neck looked as tender as porcelain, pretty and elegant.
“I’m leaving,” Yan Su quickly walked out of his room.
She closed the door, then sighed with relief.
After she left, Mo Liuxi picked up the shirt. It was so perfect steamed; not one wrinkle could be found.
…
Back in Luosang’s room, Luosang’s makeup was almost done.
“What took you so long?” Luosang asked Yan Su.
“There was a little event,” Yan Su answered the question vaguely.
“Oh, Su. Later, you and Liuxi need to block the door. Make it hard for Nian Junting,” said Luosang.
Yan Su stayed silent.
“What’s wrong?”
Yan Su gave a bitter smile and said, “I just have a bad feeling.”
Luosang comforted her. “You don’t need to do anything. Just leave it to Liuxi.
…
About forty minutes later, Nian Junting arrived with his friends.
Nian Xi was a bridesmaid too, but she was also Nian Junting’s sister. Therefore, she didn’t take part in the door-blocking mission.
Hearing the noises that Nian Junting and his friends made, Yan Su’s brain was blank. She automatically rushed to the door to close it. Before the door was closed, Mo Liuxi squeezed in, glared at her and said, “I haven’t come in yet. Why did you close the door so early?”
“Why were you so late?” Yan Su argued back. “Mr. Nian would have stormed in if I didn’t close the door.
“I was busy.” Mo Liuxi locked the door, and then said to Yan Su, “All you have to do is pick up the red envelopes later.”
Luosang was a little worried. Mo Liuxi and Nian Junting never liked each other at all. “Liuxi, don’t make it too hard for your brother-in-law, or we might miss the perfect timing.”
“Don’t worry. I’m only gonna ask him to eat this plate of mustard peanuts while doing one-hand pushups,” Mo Liuxi took out a plate from behind his back. On the plate, were some green peanuts, which were covered in green mustard sauce.
Yan Su and Luosang felt sorry for Nian Junting.
