Chapter 1424 - Christmas Present
Chapter 1424: Christmas Present
Yan Su fell silent.
She wasn’t sure what he was referring to until Mo Liuxi started kissing her and peeling her shirt off. She pushed against his arms and asked, “DIdn’t we just do it last night?”
“Yeah, I finally found something in this world that’s tastier than food.” Mo Liuxi’s eyes were twinkling with excitement.
Yan Su was about to cry out loud. Why did she ever doubt his stamina? It was obvious that both his stamina and libido were shockingly impressive.
She couldn’t hold him back and gave up trying. She decided to relent and let him do as he pleased since it would be Christmas the next time they met again.
Thinking about Christmas Day, she was reminded that it was the day that they broke up. A year had gone by just like that.
“How dare you zone out!” Mo Liuxi looked up as if someone had just doused a bucket of ice water on him.
“No, I’m just thinking about Christmas…” Yan Su quickly explained.
Mo Liuxi frowned. “I’m trying my best to please you here. Why are you thinking about Christmas?”
Yan Su kept quiet.
Yan Su was nervous. It seemed as though she was being inconsiderate. “Because we broke up on Christmas Day, don’t you remember?”
Mo Liuxi was silent. It was supposed to be a day filled with wonderful memories back then. In the end, it turned out to be one of his worst memories. He said, “It’s ok, I will make it up to you this Christmas. It’s going to be the day of our movie premiere as well — there will be a screening event in Guangzhou. I’ll make sure you receive the gift that I couldn’t give you last year.”
Yan Su was shocked. “You prepared a gift for me last year?”
“Of course,” Mo Liuxi grunted softly.
“What was it?”
“I’m not telling you.”
Yan Su sighed. “Actually, I prepared a gift for you too… it’s just that we got into a fight before I had the chance to show you.”
Mo Liuxi was stunned. His heart ached at the thought of that night. In hindsight, it was a shame that they had to end up that way. “We missed out on so many opportunities to be with each other. Let’s not have any more regrets.”
Mo Liuxi pounced on her and after a while, he carried Yan Su onto his lap as she straddled him. “I think you should go for it first since your legs are so strong. Let’s not waste your talent. I need to conserve my energy for round two.”
Yan Su was silent.
They spent those two days together in the apartment. Mo Liuxi felt as if time had flown by when they were together, and it was time to say goodbye again.
He now understood Nian Junting’s reluctance to go on business trips and his eagerness to go home every day.
His sister always complained of being sore and tired, but Yan Su…
Mo Liuxi looked at how straight she was standing with a big guitar strapped to her back…
He was extremely conflicted when he watched her. He realized that he knew very little about Yan Su after all, looking at how energetic she was. She could still go off to the music studio and prepare for her competition. She even had plans of playing the instrument herself when she was to sing in the next round.
He realized that, in this lifetime, it would be unlikely for him to conquer her in bed unless she surrendered herself first.
“Susu, I’m leaving now. Don’t tire yourself out too much,” Mo Liuxi reminded her before he left.
“Hmm, I’m ok.” Yan Su smiled at him. “You do the same. Go back and study well in school — stop playing hooky.”
“Mmm, bye bye my baby.” Mo Liuxi bent down to kiss her on her lips before he walked out of the building to flag a cab.
They parted ways.
Back in Xia City, Mo Liuxi headed straight for Nian Junting’s office. “Give me the keys to the apartment where my sister and Yan Su used to stay. I need to get something.”
“You referring to this?” Nian Junting pulled out a CD from his drawer and handed it over to him.
