Both Feng Wu and Jun Linyuan looked stunned!

“We’re not a golden couple!”

Feng Wu and Jun Linyuan said in unison as they glared at Feng Xun!

Feng Xun scratched his head.

Anger flickered in Jun Linyuan’s gloomy eyes. He looked quite intimidating once his face darkened.

“We’re leaving.” The look in Jun Linyuan’s black eyes was grim and dangerous.

“Alright…” Feng Xun rubbed his nose, still at a loss; with Boss Jun’s capability, the cub should never have been able to make him bleed. Feng Xun was utterly baffled.

When Feng Xun and Feng Wu turned to leave, Jun Linyuan didn’t move.

“Boss Jun?” Feng Xun was bewildered. “Aren’t you leaving?”

Jun Linyuan’s dark eyes reminded one of an eagle as he said indifferently, “If I’m gone, who’s going to put out the fire?”

Feng Xun was going to say something, but Jun Linyuan stopped him with an elegant shake of his head.

Jun Linyuan’s black robe could conceal many things, but Feng Wu still detected the smell of blood when she walked past him. It wasn’t the dragon’s blood, but his own.

He had to be wounded.

At that thought, Feng Wu looked at Jun Linyuan and hesitated.

“Do you… need your wounds treated?” Feng Wu asked despite herself.

Honestly, she only said it out of gratitude, for Jun Linyuan had saved her back there and she didn’t want to owe him anything. Hence, she offered her help.

However, Jun Linyuan turned his sharp gaze on Feng Wu and gave her a long, knowing look. All of a sudden, his thin lips curled into a half-smile as he asked, “Do you care for me that much?”

Feng Wu was immediately disconcerted!

Worried about him? Don’t flatter yourself! Where did he get that conclusion from? She was just trying to return the favor! Did he even know what that meant?

Because of her vexation, Feng Wu’s cheeks turned pink, which only added to her stunning beauty. She looked even more delicate and charming this way.

Feng Wu took a deep breath. “I’m only… achoo !”

The air was filled with ash and Feng Wu inhaled some as she breathed in. She began to sneeze right away and looked so miserable that Feng Xun couldn’t bear to watch anymore…

“There’s no need for an explanation.” Jun Linyuan didn’t even look at Feng Wu and only gave Feng Xun a wave of his hand.

Feng Xun took the hint. Grabbing Feng Wu, he began to run down the mountain. “We’re leaving! The volcano is still erupting and the ash is everywhere, not to mention the fire is spreading! We need to leave now!”

Feng Wu pushed Feng Xun away. She had to clear it up!

She really didn’t like Jun Linyuan at all and she couldn’t let other people continue thinking that way! It would only bring her more trouble!

“But… achoo !”

As soon as she opened her mouth, she choked on the ash again.

Feng Xun said in resignation, “Didn’t you say that my aunt only has six hours left? It’s been over four hours now. Are you going to give up on her?”

“Shit!” Only then did Feng Wu remember her task!

“Right, Mrs Ning… she doesn’t have much time left! Let’s go!” Feng Wu and Feng Xun picked up a cub each and ran down the mountain.

“Hey, look!” Turning around, Feng Xun looked a short distance away on the mountain. Heavy rain began to fall and the fire in Frozen Forest was being extinguished as they watched.
