Chapter 1878: Imminent Danger!
Little Phoenix said, “Well…” Yes, it was only a Spiritual Elder, but once upon a time, it was…
It then decided not to argue with Feng Wu, for the little fool didn’t know what the world outside was like. Arguing with her would only make it angry.
Ignoring the problem, Little Phoenix went back to the original topic. “Fine, let’s say that she’s capable enough. Do you remember how you’ve been worried about the safety of your beautiful mother and your brother?”
Feng Wu nodded.
She hadn’t cared much about her family in her previous life, but after coming here, she was gradually moved by her beautiful mother’s sincere love for her and started to care about her family.
“Once you take the white fairy out of here, she can protect your family for you. That way, you can work on your own cultivation without having to worry about your family.”
Little Phoenix grew more excited as it went on, “Whereas now, you have to constantly worry about your family while you’re away on the Senal Grassland.”
Feng Wu agreed with Little Phoenix, but —
She shrugged and asked, “But how are we going to do that? The white fairy isn’t just anybody. Will she come with us?”
Little Phoenix said proudly, “Don’t worry. Leave it to me.”
Feng Wu rolled her eyes. She didn’t for a minute believe that Little Phoenix could do it.
Little Phoenix immediately saw what Feng Wu was thinking.
Hmph! Little Phoenix snorted in its head. It decided that it would show Feng Wu what it could do and make her respect it.
“Come. Let’s go to Universe Hall.”
As much as Feng Wu wanted to take the white fairy away, she knew that the possibility was next to zero.
Standing in front of Universe Hall, Feng Wu looked up and was amazed.
It was such a vast hall.
Feng Wu had thought that it would be just another big palace, but as she stood outside the front doors, she realized how wrong she was.
Like its name suggested, Universe Hall was as magnificent and grand as the universe itself.
Standing at the entrance, Feng Wu felt as tiny as an ant.
The hall had a peaked roof, which went high up into the clouds.
It was grand, majestic, and luxurious!
That was Feng Wu’s first impression of the hall.
Squeak —
The ancient bronze doors slowly opened.
They were hundreds of meters tall.
In comparison, Feng Wu was as tiny as a mite.
She was the first to arrive here, because the floor was covered by a thin layer of dust, without any footprints in it.
Feng Wu had gotten used to following the white fairy’s instructions, but from this moment on, she was on her own.
She clenched her fists and slowly opened her eyes. They were as clear as two limpid pools.
The floor was paved with white jade and seemed to stretch on and on.
Feng Wu looked around the hall, memorizing everything she saw.
Earlier, the white fairy told Feng Wu that Universe Hall was filled with opportunities and treasures, but it was also the most dangerous place. One wrong step and she might be killed, and wind up as another ghost among the tombs.
Many famous heroes had died here like that, and became ghosts which guarded this place, like Master Purple Sun and Master Blowing Snow.
After scanning the hall with her sharp eyes, Feng Wu smiled a little.
