Chapter 668 - Look How Kind I Am!
Chapter 668: Look How Kind I Am!
After leaving Wen Yue’s place, Xia Ning got into her car to get to SE Entertainment.
She looked ahead and replayed what happened in her head.
She didn’t agree with Wen Yue’s choice, but she wouldn’t stop her, either. Love could make a woman blind and trying to stop her would only make things worse. She was only able to utter two sentences before Wen Yue turned aggressive.
What if what happened between her and Qiao Yu was only an accident?
As a matter of fact, she and Qiao Yu were in a truce-like state at the moment. Sometimes, she couldn’t tell if she was acting. Was she not in love with Qiao Yu? She could no longer give a definite no to that question. Her heart would still skip a beat for him!
She meant it when she said those words to Wen Yue. Qiao Yu was a better man than Mu Zichen. He was good to their kid and now, he was good to his woman.
Someone banged the car window violently all of a sudden, which startled Xia Ning. Rolling down the window, she saw Fu Yao’s face. Her hair was loose and unkempt and she was in her pajamas. She had obviously just gotten out of bed.
“Xia Ning, get out of there! Now!” Fu Yao stared at Xia Ning with eyes filled with hatred.
Xia Ning was a little surprised to find Fu Yao here and she looked the latter up and down. “What’s the problem?”
“What’s the problem? Do you think you can get away with it after what you did to me?” Fu Yao glared at Xia Ning.
Putting her hands on the steering wheel, Xia Ning kept her composure as she studied Fu Yao with a smile. “I did things to you? I’m gonna need evidence for that. Tell me what I did!”
“Weren’t you the one that exposed Shen Donglai and me?” Fu Yao stared at Xia Ning. “You evil woman. How can you do that to your own uncle?!”
“By the sound of it, you’re not here because you’ve been wronged, but your sugar daddy.” Xia Ning gave Fu Yao a half-smile. “You’ve been together for what, a few months? And you’re already so devoted to this old man who’s got a family of his own. I’m impressed, Miss Fu, by your devotion.”
“You…” Fu Yao glared at Xia Ning, too furious to speak. She wasn’t devoted to Shen Donglai at all.
The old man did nothing but torture her in bed, but he could give her money as well as fame. However, Xia Ning had ruined it all.
“Xia Ning, you’ve admitted it. How can you be so shameless?! You went after your own uncle!” The more Fu Yao thought about it, the angrier she became. She was convinced that she would never have been incriminated if Xia Ning didn’t go after Shen Donglai.
Xia Ning smiled at Fu Yao. “You surpass me by far in terms of shamelessness. You’ve hooked up with him when you knew he had a family. Now that someone has exposed you for being a homewrecker, you actually try to blame that person. Do you have any moral sense at all? The saying is true. All whores want to look chaste and pure.”
“Who did you just call a whore?” Fu Yao glowered, reached a hand into the window, and tried to scratch Xia Ning.
The car window was rolled up all of a sudden and Fu Yao screamed. Her arm was stuck in the window.
Xia Ning smiled as she looked at Fu Yao’s fair wrist. “I think I can get a bowl of braised pork trotter out of this if I cut it off.”
“Xia Ning, you b*tch! Let go of me! Now!” Fu Yao cried out in pain, fearing that Xia Ning might actually break her arms.
Xia Ning chuckled at Fu Yao. “You stuck your hand in yourself. And you blame me for it?”
“Xia Ning, you b*tch! I’m going to sue you!” Fu Yao glared at Xia Ning.
Turning her head, Xia Ning looked at her, unperturbed. “Sue me? For what? For sticking your hand in my car window? I’ve got all the time in the world. Sue all you want. I’m not going anywhere.”
Fu Yao wanted to draw her hand back, but the window rolled up further. Her face twisted from the pain. “Let go of my hand! Let go!”
Xia Ning blinked. “Why should I? If I do that, you’ll have no evidence to sue me. See? that’s how kind I am!”
