Everybody is Kung Fu Fighting, While I Started a Farm

Chapter 399 - The Scripture of Chaos Thundersword

Chapter 399: The Scripture of Chaos Thundersword

“Since my sword technique is to be combined with physique arts, Thunder Dao would be most fitting as a foundation.”

“Since I possess Thunder Dao Form, I could use the sword and physique hybrid technique to its maximum potential with Thunder Dao as my foundation.”

Under the Elder Tea Tree of Enlightenment in the farm, Jiang He was writing diligently, recording all of his inspiration and thoughts.

After all, creating a cultivation manual was incredibly difficult, not to mention Jiang He was wildly ambitious enough to add a combo sword technique to the new cultivation method as well.

It must not be underpowered either, and start off at Heavenly Immortal, and could be cultivated directly up to Grand Luo or quasi-Divine.

“Right, the cultivation technique must be overwhelming so that no peer could defend against it, even making it normal to slay a person of a superior tier. One would also gain such abundant Immortal Yuan Strength that it would be over a dozen times more than individuals of the same tier, honing an invincible physique of boundless strength… yes, and spirit as well!”

“The spirit must not be weak either. Having cultivated to such level, it is normal for a person to have grasped a Secret Yuan Spirit Technique. However, so what if my physical being is such a soul treasure that no one could tear through, if my Yuan Spirit is lacking? I’ll be finished if someone uses a spiritual attack!”

“And then there is the combo sword technique… I would have two requirements for that: one, that it looks cool… and two, that it is formidable in power. It would be great if it was at the level where a Heavenly Immortal could use it to cut down a True Immortal, or a True Immortal could use it to cut down a Golden Immortal or a Golden Immortal could use it to cut down a Grand Luo… oh, and I could also combine the Secret Yuan Spirit Technique into my Sword Technique. When that happens, each swing of my sword would be a twofold attack, both physical and spiritual…”

Putting down his pen, Jiang He took a sip of tea to moisten his throat.

He did not dare to drink too much. What should he do if the Elder Tea of Enlightenment proved too strong that he was caught in instant enlightenment again?

Even as he noted all his ideas, the outline of a new cultivation method soon appeared in Jiang He’s mind, and he said, “Yes, I don’t have to set the tiering for this cultivation manual idea… or should I say, since this is technique is in a world of its own, it could be cultivated without limit. As for the tiering between different levels of mastery over it, it would be by the enlightenment towards Dao and the condensation of Immortal Dao.”

After that, Jiang He put down his pen and mused to himself.

As everyone knows, the stronger a cultivation method is, the harder it would be to cultivate it.

Therefore, since the cultivation method he was about to create started as Heavenly Immortal and was without a limit, the difficulty in cultivating would probably be ridiculous.

“Sigh!”

“Whatever—if it is a little difficult, so be it, since it would be meaningless if I have to suffer because the cultivation technique is too weak… Moreover, I’m not good at cultivating anyway, so I’ll just have to farm more when the time comes.”

Jiang He actually felt blessed, because he was the son of a farming family and enjoyed working at the farm, as well as the delight of harvest…

Either way, creating a cultivation manual was much easier now that he grasped the general idea.

Jiang He hence took up his pen again, and began to fabricate—create the cultivation manual.

After just twenty minutes, a summary was written over the paper.

Jiang He studied it carefully before nodding in satisfaction, after which he added special sound and visual effects.

Visual effects naturally referred to the ensuing phenomenon.

“Once charged, Thunder Sword Qi will flash and thunderclouds churn in the skies around the user of this technique. That would be visual, and as for sound… Once released, Sword Qi would overflow and thunder would rumble… alright, we’ll just leave it like that, since I’m a subtle person.”

The last step was the naming.

After some thought, Jiang He wrote down ‘the Scripture of Chaos Thundersword’… and could not help laughing after he was done.

“The name is so imposing… Dumbo!”

At his call, Dumbo understood his intent and quickly dug a hole.

Jiang He then spent three million Farm Points to redeem a large pack of Living Soil of the Nine Heavens, and planted the Scripture of Chaos Thundersword.

He then checked the time to find that it was somehow dinner hour already, and asked, “Where’s Sora? Is dinner ready?”

“It’s not?”

“Good. I was thinking about having dumplings. Is there still any of the Titanoboa meat from last time? Use that as filling…”

“And Hu Mei, brew me another pot of tea, but don’t use the Elder Tea of Enlightenment. Let’s have some Big Red Robe instead, and remember to only brew it with Origin Fluid in the future.”

Jiang He could not help remembering the giant willow tree atop Mount Helan at the mention of Origin Fluid.

“I’m too used to rank-nine Origin Fluid that I find it no different from plain water… That said, I could talk to that willow tree and help it evolve into Emperor… Emperor-tier Origin Fluid would definitely be delicious.”

After that, Jiang He began to think of a sword technique.

He had some ideas on how to go about it already… and all it would need was a single strike.

Of course, said single strike just had to include thousands of different variations.

“The sword technique would be using Thunder Dao as a base as well, after which I would fuse it with my Secret Yuan Technique. As for special effect… making it more or less the same as the Chaos Thundersword would do.”

“As for the name…”

Naming had always been Jiang He’s weakness. Fortunately, however, with such a perfect name like the Scripture of Chaos Thundersword available, Jiang He just had to adjust it a little.

After some thought, he wrote ‘Secret Art of the Chaos Thundersword’ as the title.

“Perfect!”

“The cultivation method is called the Scripture of the Chaos Thundersword while the sword technique is named the Secret Art of the Chaos Thundersword… anyone could tell from first glance that these two come as a set.”

Jiang He flattered himself a bit before redeeming another pack of Living Soil of the Nine Heavens and planted the Secret Art of the Chaos Thundersword. That was when the nine fragments of the Divine Sky-Mending Stone began to sprout…

As nine little stones growing out of the ground.

Each were glimmering with faint divine light and appeared quite mystical.

The stones were also growing at a rate visible to the naked eye. Fist-sized at first, they were soon the size of watermelons—and the more they grew, the brighter their divine light became.

Most frighteningly…

Jiang He actually felt a special divine presence growing within the stones too.

“What the hell?”

“D-Does this mean I planted nine Great Sages who equals the heavens?”

Jiang He stood in front of the nine stones before shaking his head and killing that thought, chuckling, “So what if I grew nine Great Sages? I raised the Seven Bottle Gourd Brothers myself—can’t I raise nine monkeys too?”

Withdrawing his gaze, he turned towards the Scripture of the Chaos Thundersword that he planted just now.

A Sword Qi of immeasurable sharpness grew amidst the chaotic flashes of thunder.

On the other side, the Secret Art of the Chaos Thundersword had taken root and sprouted as well, though it was releasing shots of Chaos Thundersword flashes instead of a chaotic cloud of thunderbolts.

Jiang He used his previous experience in planting a farm to make a deduction.

The Secret Art of the Chaos Thundersword would be ripe around the five hours, while the Scripture of the Chaos Thundersword would be done a little earlier. On the other hand, the nine fragments of the Divine Sky-Mending Stone were not growing that rapidly, and would only be ripe tomorrow morning.

Since Sora, Boa Hancock, and the others had yet to wrap the dumplings, Jiang He instructed Dumbo to plant the mutated grapevines they dug before beside the purple bamboo forest before leisurely heading inside his mansion.

Meanwhile, in outer space, at a planet near the Milky Way, various races lived upon the planet, the center of which stood a giant city known as Flying Cloud City.

It was also the only city on the planet with warp portals…

Oom!

With a flash at the warp portal, veins of overwhelming auras were spread with faint immortal might, and the many Immortal Foxes stepped out.

Then, as the imposing Golden Immortal aura of the old fox in the lead unfurled, the nearby guards watching the portal acted as if their archenemy had arrived, while the leader of the planet—a Heavenly Immortal—came to greet the old fox, saying, “How may I be of service, my lord?”

That leader had to act like that, since the strongest person on the planet was merely True Immortal after all.

The old fox shot the leader a cold look before saying, “My group will be heading to Mars. Make the arrangements.”

“Mars?”

The leader’s gaze twitched as he asked, “Mars of the Milky Way?”

“What? Is there a problem?”

As the old fox’s gaze darkened, the leader quickly said, “You may not know this, my lord, but there is a problem with Mars… it’s gone.”

“???”

The old fox did a double take and asked in surprise, “Gone?”

“What happened?”

He opened his large hand to seize the leader in his grasp and growled, “Speak! What happened to Mars?”

Shaking from fear, the leader promptly answered, “I heard it from others myself, my lord… it was said that the Demon Lord of the Sky Demons had led a legion of millions, including one True Immortal, several Heavenly Immortals, and dozens of Mahayana cultivators. They had made camp on Mars and were about to use it as a springboard to attack the homeworld of humans, only to be ambushed by a powerful enemy who blew up Mars entirely… and the entire legion was hence destroyed.”

“Impossible!”

The old fox nonchalantly threw the leader aside without a change in his expression. His Golden Immortal might then erupted as he growled, “Blowing up a planet… no elite of such level is supposed to exist in the homeworld!”

“Clan elder…”

A True Immortal Fox was about to step up and say something, but the old fox raised his hand and stopped him, before turning toward the leader and said, “Activate the portal right away, and send us to the Milky Way!”

“But… Mars is destroyed, and the portals on it vaporized… you could be teleported into dimensional turbulence if you head there through the portals.”

“You don’t have to worry about that!”
