Chapter 2913 - 2914: The Invasion Of The Chaos Kings
Chapter 2913 - 2914: The Invasion Of The Chaos Kings
-----
Kireina looked into the skies of Yomi, noticing turbulent clouds and chaotic surges of energy. With the Demon King's death, his Labyrinth of Madness rapidly decayed and began to collapse, dragging its remains and anything it touched toward Yomi. Breaches toward other Underworlds across the world opened—Tartarus, Duat, Purgatory.
Yomi trembled as the Seven Chaos Kings gazed upon its vastness, realizing it grew even vaster with each passing second. Even though they came from an infinitely larger Dimension, they had never seen a Realm so rich in energies.
They all wanted it for themselves!
"So?"
Obhedhrur, the Fifth King of Chaos, spoke with his tenebrous, metallic voice. He took a single step forward, and the entire world shook. Cracks split the ground, and whole mountains crumbled apart.
"What is your answer, small Chaos Spawn?"
"Small?"
Kireina turned back to Obhedhrur with a gentle smile.
In a split second, her body expanded to its maximum output.
Yomi's interior was massively immense—enough to contain these monsters.
Thus, Kireina felt confident she could unleash her true size here as well.
"…?!"
"…!!!"
"…!"
"…?!"
All the Chaos Kings stared at Kireina in awe and disbelief as she revealed her true form—over five times their own size.
Who were the ants now?
"Are you suggesting I join you—some random bastards who appeared out of nowhere?" Kireina asked with a kind smile, her gleaming cosmic dress glowing brightly and beautifully. "You have to be joking. And then what? Are you going to take over Yomi? And kill countless innocents? The only way I would ever join you is if you promise, first, not to take over anything, and second, to not harm anybody."
"…"
"…"
"…"
"…"
"…"
Obhedhrur was the only one with a face—one made of metal with limited ability to show expressions—and thus the only one who could answer with his expression.
He smiled.
"Hah, that's simply impossible. We are all beings of chaos," he laughed out loud. "Requesting us not to kill, conquer, and enjoy ourselves is like trying to teach a lion to eat only vegetables. It's possible, but the lion will eventually die from malnutrition. It is within our nature, our requirement, and our right to conquer, destroy, and kill."
"Then there's no agreement," Kireina combined her two blades, summoning her Infinite Heaven's Sword and unleashing her Pillar of Celestial Enlightenment, permanently merging it with her very Heart. "I am done with all of you and your bullshit. I've got a world to save, and you're in the way. Come at me and die already."
"This thing really is amusing."
"Does she believe that being brave equals being strong?"
"How amusing."
"Let me handle this."
"Fine, go ahead."
One of the Chaos Kings stepped forward—not the charismatic and gentlemanly Obhedhrur, but one with a slender body of hardened black stone, wearing long black and red robes, and a helmet shaped like a black pyramid with an eye-shaped red jewel.
His long hands had elongated fingers, each tipped with a long black nail. As he moved them, giant runes of pure chaos manifested, runes unlike anything Kireina had seen before, each the size of mountains.
"Primordial Abyssal Chaos Arcana."
"First Page – Chaotic Armageddon."
It was a spell, yet at the same time a direct attack from the entity itself.
In less than a split second, eternal darkness engulfed everyone and everything.
Yomi trembled. Its mountains, rivers, skies—everything disintegrated to a subatomic level.
Everyone within the attack's range died rapidly one after another.
Yomi as a whole suffered severe damage—thirty percent of this Realm, the size of an entire Universe, was gone.
Floating amidst the black void, the Seven Chaos Kings admired the destruction.
"Well, that was nothing, huh?"
"She was stupid. She had the potential to fight us. What a foolish thing."
"Well, Obhedhrur, looks like your plan failed."
"I… wouldn't say so."
"…?!"
The other six Chaos Kings realized what had happened later than Obhedhrur.
But Obhedhrur had seen it.
He saw what Kireina did!
Anticipating the destruction of everything and everyone, Kireina had swung her sword.
But everyone died anyway—so what exactly had she done?
It was an attack with delayed impact.
SLASH!
"Ngh?!"
The Magician Chaos King groaned as a sharp slashing wound pierced through his body.
His eyes widened.
"Wha…!"
And where that attack came from, the universe and everything before his own strike reemerged.
"?!"
SLASH!
And then another.
SLASH!
And another.
SLASH!
SLASH!
SLASH!
SLASH!
SLASH!
SLASH!
SLASH!
Countless slashes tormented the Chaos King as his entire body bled out in agony. His hands moved rapidly as he conjured more and more magic.
However, the slashes split apart his chaos runes and then severed his fingers.
"Impossible! What is this?!"
"She…!"
"Did her attack manipulate time itself?!"
"No, it's spacetime!"
"No, that's not it either…"
"Reality bending?"
Kireina and everyone behind her reappeared. Yomi—which had been destroyed—was restored.
Kireina's attack had somehow bent the very laws of reality.
Just what in the world had she done?!
"I see."
Obhedhrur smiled, utterly amazed by Kireina's technique that surpassed comprehension.
"What?" one of the Chaos Kings asked.
"Her technique is rather simple when you realize she had a Domain previously expanded, protecting everything within the radius around her," Obhedhrur explained. "She simply shaped this domain into her blade and cut with it, delaying the attack. When Serpefelrius obliterated everything, they truly died—only for them to return as her delayed attack, carrying everything and everyone, struck you. Each slash reconstructed the reality our fellow Chaos King eradicated, reversing time to an extent."
"What sort of ridiculous thing is that?"
Chaos Kings—beings that only knew how to destroy—had never imagined a technique that didn't just harm, but restored reality and could rewind time itself.
Kireina, however, who had merged with all her skills, abilities, and the system, could now seamlessly fuse them into her attacks and techniques.
Creating such absurd outcomes.
The ingredients for this technique were her Partial Time Manipulation and her Psyche Ability to revive. She combined both to apply it to the Reality assimilated by her Heavenly Domain.
Thus, effectively reviving herself and everyone with a delayed series of attacks carrying everything and everyone within!
Amaterasu and everyone else gasped for air. For a moment, they had all truly been erased.
The power of the Chaos Kings was the real deal—monsters beyond imagination.
But wasn't Kireina an even more terrifying monster for pulling off such an outrageous move?
"I call that technique Pillar of Celestial Enlightenment – Timeline-Splitting Sword."
Kireina looked down on the Chaos Kings, showing she was the real deal.
The Chaos Kings all surged with their Auras.
Their eyes gleamed with bright red light.
She was… an Anomaly!
"Good."
"Not bad."
"Let's kill each other then."
"Let's battle for the destiny of this Realm!"
"Put everything on the line then, Chaos Spawn!"
As they all laughed, the fifth—Obhedhrur—who was continuously growing more and more human, began to feel something within him.
"Ah, what is this feeling? She was so majestic, so magnificent… But this feeling is not that I simply want to fight her… I want to know her more, I want to see her more. Her voice… it is beautiful as well. Her presence, imposing. What is this sensation you have inherited upon me, humans?"
Obhedhrur, who had absorbed humans and their souls, as well as their machines, had grown continuously more "bizarre" to the Chaos Kings, but at the same time much stronger—to the point they could no longer disrespect him.
However, at this moment, something even more bizarre happened.
"…"
Obhedhrur remained silent and said nothing.
"Obhedhrur! Why are you not coming with us?!"
"She's the biggest prey we've ever had!"
"Come, we have to fight her!"
"…Hahah, I want to fight her, yes. But I don't want to kill her either."
"…?!"
The Chaos Kings looked at one another in disbelief.
Then, Obhedhrur targeted one of Kireina's foes.
"NGH?!"
BOOOM!
His giant mechanical weapon—a massive titanic pile bunker—pierced the Chaos King's heart and tore it apart into countless pieces!
"NNGAAAAA?! B-BASTARD! TRAITOR!"
"I am sorry, Serpefelrius! But I am merely following my new nature! You will become the sacrifice I need!"
Serpefelrius screamed in agony as he conjured his magic, bombarding everything and everyone with immense explosions of reality-erasing chaos power.
Kireina quickly grabbed everyone and swiftly escaped the destruction, covering herself in a veil of her Pillar of Enlightenment.
And then, amidst the explosions…
Obhedhrur emerged, unscathed, holding the corpse of Serpefelrius, the Seventh Chaos King, in his hands—offering it to Kireina.
"I offer thee the body of the Seventh Chaos King and his shattered core!" Obhedhrur said, his mechanical, gleaming eyes glowing with fascination. "Please, become my mate."
"Hah?!"
"WHAT?!"
Kireina and the other five Chaos Kings all had the same reaction.
Utter disbelief!
