Chapter 2883 - 2884: The Manipulation Of Fate
Chapter 2883 - 2884: The Manipulation Of Fate
-----
It was a day like any other in Japan.
But in an instant, everything changed.
"Someone" stepped out of a Heavenly Domain.
Someone higher than the Gods who confined themselves within such realms.
By containing her power within her vessel, she appeared as a mere mortal, yet she wielded cataclysmic destructive force.
Her Aura unfurled across the skies and beyond, invisible to most, yet ever-present, shifting constantly like an ocean of clear, chromatic colors.
"...What the hell is this?"
The Den of the Werewolves stirred. The Five Claw Generals emerged in stunned awe as they sensed the overwhelming power.
"What's going on? Oi? Huh?"
Even their Boss, the Alpha of the pack, the strongest Werewolf in this world, a god-like figure who had lived centuries as a Yakuza boss, savoring booze and devouring demons, felt the presence.
"Dad? What's wrong?"
His daughter, a spoiled yet immensely talented brat with a sharp tongue, noticed the upheaval in the heavens and earth. She gasped.
"Hah..." Her father grinned wildly, his long hair whipping in the wind. "Looks like a complete monster has stepped onto our turf, dear. Things are about to get very interesting, dare I say."
"That presence...?" His daughter recognized the gentle yet crushing power.
"You know it?" her father asked, curiosity piqued.
"Um... maybe..." she muttered in disbelief. "Wow..."
Farther away, within the Dominion of the Vampire Family, many of its greatest beings stepped outside in surprise, sensing the sudden emergence of immense power.
Among them, the Vampire Queen, Clementine, gazed into the distance with a cryptic expression.
"Hoh, the hierarchy of our Domains might change forever if that entity of such great power decides to act."
"Mother... what is that presence?" her daughter asked.
"Most likely a powerful God... no, perhaps something beyond that?" Clementine laughed softly. "How interesting..."
"Hm..." Her son easily guessed who it was. He looked skyward with quiet worry. "I guess it's beginning. These peaceful times were never going to last forever."
Within Japan's many Corrupted Domains and Cursed Realms, and deep in its Purgatory, countless Ancient Demon Kings awakened. Their power surged toward Mount Takao as they sensed the herald of a new Era.
Two large tribes of their kin, long residing within the mountain, celebrated the shift in energy. They fed on Cursed Energy, and now it has grown tremendously stronger.
Both tribes gathered on opposite sides of the mountains, eternal rivals who worshipped their great Demon Kings at grand altars.
The statue of a Great Demon with Eight Arms and the Serpent Demoness with Eight Serpent Heads glowed fiercely. Powerful Cursed Energy surged from within them.
The connection to their Ancestors resonated through the statues. The Era had finally turned. Everything would change forever. These two mighty Demon Kings could no longer wait to re-emerge from the depths of Yomi-no-kuni.
The Eight-Headed Serpent and the Great Demonic King laughed as their Souls surged upward. Cursed Energies erupted through the surface world...
Slowly, the Domains expanded farther. Corruption began to creep outward.
And in the deepest depths of Yomi-no-kuni, she—the forgotten bride of the Creator God—opened her red eyes, black tears streaming down her face.
"Oh, my husband... How I yearn to see you again... Izanami..."
Her hands reached into the dark skies of Yomi-no-kuni, forming gigantic spectral hands composed of billions of ghosts and cursed creatures.
The Sealed Entrance, Yomotsuhirasaka, trembled. The Ancient Divine Seals placed by the God of Life began to burn away.
"It's... finally time... yes...!"
Meanwhile, far beyond Japan in North America, a certain Necromancer and his sister sensed the shift in energy fluctuations as a powerful divine being descended upon the world.
"Is that Kireina?" the Necromancer wondered, rubbing his chin.
"I think it is, big brother..." his sister nodded.
"So it is as I imagined. She has grown tremendously strong..." The Necromancer laughed, his Aura pulsing. "Hah... well, that would be for the better. Things are only going to get worse from now on."
He stared at the large screens in the city. News reporters spoke of "New Rulers" of North America. The President had revealed the truth to the world without him needing to unmask anything.
"This Country shall now be protected by the Great Primordial Queen of Spirits! All of you rejoice! North America will now be forever safe from devastation! All humans will be able to escape the planet's destruction!"
People questioned what they had just witnessed. Others panicked, believing aliens had finally invaded.
The remaining Heroes wandered the streets. Some felt conflicted about this new "Government," while others obeyed loyally.
Conflicts erupted among Superheroes awakened by the Mysterious Esper Child. Chaos spread everywhere.
But where was the Mysterious Child herself?
"Is it good?"
A gentle voice echoed from above a large building. A child with long silvery-blue hair and glowing rainbow eyes sat there, happily eating ice cream.
"Yep, it's good, mister! Thank you."
A tall, slender man with white hair and glowing golden eyes, dressed in a white suit, nodded and patted her head. A small Sun Symbol appeared above the girl's head.
Her chromatic eyes shone brighter. The sun symbol etched itself into her irises.
"Ah, we were very lucky to find you. Demons sure have an excellent information network, huh?"
The man smiled as he offered her more sweets. She accepted eagerly, unaware of the stranger's schemes.
"Naturally. Now, with her help, the Mass Brainwashing Project can begin, yes?"
Another figure spoke from behind him, one shrouded in shadows, with long red wings and black horns.
"Indeed, as discussed, we shall share the world... After all, that Abyssal Dungeon you built with that Cosmic Artifact we stole from Her is vital for the plan."
"Hm, though I never imagined I would join hands with you. How ironic."
"Well, I never imagined I would join hands with the Vampires of my world, whom I despised, but here we are. All together... yes..."
His glowing golden eyes flared brightly. His power surged even higher.
"The Third Fragment has arrived. Two more and my power shall be regained completely—no, it will be even greater in this Realm of pure Cosmic Energy..."
"It all begins tomorrow. Let's not waste time. Bring the child."
"Yes, but don't be rude. Dear, come with us."
"Okay!"
The girl innocently took his hand and followed him into a black portal leading elsewhere.
A rogue Superhero—one of the Necromancer's few allies—watched the scene from afar, hidden by her Invisibility.
"W-Wha...! What did I just see?! Who were those ominous beings? And they took her away right after I found her! I have to tell the boss quickly!"
She hurried toward him, carrying devastating news.
Back in Japan, someone sat on the rooftop of his modest house, staring at Mount Takao.
A simple home. A simple family.
Yet this family and this house had warmed his weary, cold heart.
As he gazed at the azure moon beyond the boundary of this dimension, his sharp red eyes narrowed with caution toward the uncertain future.
"It's worse than I imagined. The Plane of Fate is being manipulated directly to orchestrate a series of devastating events that will converge into a disaster of multidimensional proportions. Is this their goal? Is this what they want? But why? Does... this have to do with Her?"
