Chapter 2517: The Unstoppable Demon General
Kralax laughed amidst the chaos of the battlefield, even as he saw his own kind die in droves, he didn't care. To him they were simply being filtered, the weak should die anyway. Only the strong, like him, remained supreme on the battlefield!
"Hahahaha! This better shows that you're nothing but food to us demons, humans!" Kralax laughed. "We will devour every single one of your damned souls!"
Kralax grew a pair of draconic wings from his back, rushing towards battle, as he was rapidly surrounded by dozens of robots, all paying attention to him.
CLASH! CRASH! BAAM! BOOM!
They began being blown away, exploding into pieces, or being pierced and then having their pilots eaten alive. It wasn't looking good for them after Kralax used his Full Release Awakening Mode.
And yet, Galactic Humans were as relentless as the demons themselves too. After surviving the horrors of outer space, they were bound to grow coldheartedly!
As they saw their allies die one after another, they kept sending more, pushing Kralax to his limits, until a squadron of them arrived.
"Supernatural Warrior Squadron-11 reporting in!" roared their leader "Clear the path, we'll take care of this."
It was six robots of white and gold color, holding holy weapons with their own hands, overflowing with holy attribute and holy flames.
"They're finally here!"
"Thank you!"
"Please slay that damned demon!"
The squadron rushed towards Kralax, the Demon General smiled viciously, greeting them with his six arms wide open, full of confidence.
"Come at me! Show me you're even a challenge, if anything, some fun!"
"You'll regret your overconfidence, demon!"
Kralax was quickly attacked from several angles at once, he moved dexterously and incredibly quickly, evading and striking back at the new squadron of robots with his fiery claws.
"You're too slow, bastards!"
CLASH! CLASH! CLASH!
He pushed them back with a barrage of blows, blazing shockwaves engulfing the robots one after another, however, strange barriers seemed to protect them.
"Hm?!"
Kralax's eyes widened, as he noticed the barriers were made of Divine Holy Light, mitigating the damage he dealt against them.
"So you've managed to mitigate some of my power, so what?!"
The crocodile-headed demon general roared, as flames encompassed his entire body, at the same time as dozens of spinning pentagrams.
"I can always simply overwhelm you with my superior Magic Power!"
With a demonic laughter, Kralax quickly summoned dozens of massive blazing meteors and tridents made of flames, which flew towards his targets.
The squadron of golden and white mechas rapidly began to intercept the attacks using their long-ranged beam guns, and also their swords and spears made of holy light.
BOOM! BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!
The explosions engulfed their entire group, the one in front of them all, with a machine that was much bulkier-looking and holding two massive shields held on, managing to mitigate the damage the rest took massively.
"It won't be so easy as before, Demon! We've already learned how to deal with your kind." The overly armored and bulky robot spoke, with the voice of his pilot showing to most likely be a very tall, manly man. Although to Kralax, all human were the same puny insects.
"As if that were to even intimidate me! You think I haven't battled beings that wield power that counters mine?! Oh, unfortunately for you, I have!"
With a vicious and demonic smile, Kralax kicked the empty air, infusing his Demonic Aura into his four claws, at the same time as they suddenly were covered on massive claws made of fiery flames.
"{Demonic Armament Creation: Claws of Purgatory}!"
The armored mecha warrior simply enhanced his shields even further as the rests behind him pointed their guns, firing beams of holy light that began to rapidly pierce through Kralax's Aura.
BOOM! BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!
"TCH...!"
As Kralax saw his body being covered with wounds, he simply clicked his tongue and continued charging, until finally, he swung his claws against the tanky mecha.
"TAKE THIS!"
"It simply won't work again, demon!"
CRAAASH!
The two shields unleashed a powerful shockwave of holy light, as Kralax's Demonic Armament was rapidly being reflected...!
"Nnnggh...! D-Dammit!"
Kralax complained, as he was being pushed back constantly! The other robots quickly rushed behind him, pointing holy spears to impale his body.
"Die!"
As this happened...
"Heh!"
Kralax smiled out of nowhere.
CRAAASH!
His claw suddenly pierced through both shields easily, surprising the pilot of the bulky and
armored machine.
And a second later, not only his shields were sliced but...
SLAAASH!
"G-Gaaagh?!"
The entire robot was sliced into two halves, including the pilot sitting in the cockpit at the chest of the robot, who was cleaved into two halves, exploding into pieces alongside his
machine!
BOOOM!
As this happened, Kralax laughed, licking the blood around his face and chest with his long tongues, and quickly spinning in midair within a mere second.
While the spears of light were about to impale his back, he intercepted them with his claws, pushing forward with his powerful armament, which ended being stronger than the humans
could have ever imagined!
"You're the ones that are not prepared for us demons, humans! Go back where you belong, to
the trash! Gyahahaha!"
SLASH! SLASH! SLASH! SLASH!
Now that they were within his range, Kralax didn't waste time, slicing the humans into pieces and delivering a killing strike with all his claws at once, a mighty combo that spread an
explosive shockwave!
BOOOMMM!!!
The surviving members of the squadron were left speechless, barely two sword-wielding
warriors, glancing at Kralax completely baffled.
"T-This is impossible...! We've even slain powerful demons of his class using these
weapons...!"
"And the armor should've...!"
Kralax smiled at them, rushing towards them within a second, his face facing the face of these robots, which seemed humanoid. He believed the humans glorified their own appearance so much they even modeled their weapons and technology after their physiology.
"You might've been able to defeat some Generals, yeah, but there's a huge difference between each one of us! And I'm an expert at wielding concentrated Demonic Energy! The more energy I spent and concentrate within a single point, the stronger it becomes! Until even holy power cannot hold back, and shatters into pieces like you bastards!"
He grabbed one of the robots as he tore it apart before it was to attack him, the other robot
quickly flew away, trying to run away.
"Where do you think you're going?!"
CRAAASH!
Kralax kicked its head, splitting the robot into two halves, the person inside exploded, only
left as a bit of blood and guts on his scaled, reptilian legs.
The rest, mere junk, fell into the Cloud Sea beneath, and so did the other robot he had
destroyed. He then closed his eyes, absorbing the souls of the humans he had killed.
"Not bad, their souls have quite the peculiar taste... They're older than they seem, these damned humans have been living for thousands of years... Cryogenic sleep or something like
that? Well, whatever."
Kralax easily figured out quite a few things after eating these souls and reading some memories, although most of them were too strange for him to comprehend.
"Who's next?!"
His claws blazed with flames, as he glanced around him, suddenly noticing small divine
presences moving right beneath him.
"Hm? Oh? It seems there's some rats trying to escape! Lord Eligor might be pleased if I bring
them to him..."
