This theory would explain the sudden sealing of the sea of wisdom - a reaction against the calamity. This meant they would be doomed too.
“Thank you for saving us, Sir.” Apex and Hao Cai came over to greet Li Qiye.
Hao Cai had deep ties with Li Qiye, while Apex had met him before. Only Ninth Lady was a stranger. Moreover, since she was from Epoch’s Dawn, he could be considered their enemy.
